Redmane Knight Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. Redmane Knight Set is a Heavy Weight set that strikes a good balance between physical and magical defense specifically Fire Resistance. Redmane Knight set dons the Lion on the chest of the armor and long cloak along with the red plume on the helm to signify Radahn's pedigree as Lord Radagon's son as the proud Red Lion. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.
Where to find Redmane Knight Set in Elden Ring
Pieces of the Redmane Knight Set have a chance to drop from any Redmane Knight found in Caelid.
- One knight can be found with a few Redmane soldiers in a small camp southwest of the Smoldering Wall site of grace.
- Two knights can be found at Fort Gael. One has a greatbow that shoots barrages of magic arrows as you approach the fort. Another can be found inside the fort near the top. [Map Link]
- One knight on horseback can be found between the Caelid Catacombs and the Impassable Greatbridge site of grace.
- Three knights can be found separately in Redmane Castle. One located outside at the base of the wooden siege tower containing the ballista. One on top of a building connected to the southern ramparts. One found on a building on top of the entrance to the plaza, reached by entering the tower past the Abductor Virgin.

Killed the two Redmane Knights in Fort Gael then myself with 68 Arcane for ~ 3 hours. Got 5 Helms; 3 Armors; 1 Gauntlets and 5 Greaves.

>copy the save file
>get back in game
>attempt to get an item by killing the knight as usual
>drops nothing.jpg
>exit to main menu
>replace the save file in the game folder with the one you copied earlier
>get back in game
>mfw the knight is still alive, and you recovered your silver-pickled fowl foot
>kill the knight again and repeat the process without having to walk back and never losing a silver-pickled fowl foot

Farmed the knight at "One knight can be found with a few Redmane soldiers in a small camp southwest of the Smoldering Wall site of grace" for hours with no armor drop. Switched to the "One knight on horseback can be found between the Caelid Catacombs and the Impassable Greatbridge site of grace" and got a drop in about 5 tries.
Those elite knight armors should be one tier heavier and sturdier. We farm them for hours and all we get is a standart knight set statswise. Not my kind of humor...

Final tally after farming the one knight near Impassable Greatbridge: 1 helm, 7 armor, 4 gauntlets, 2 greaves, 2 partisans, 6 greatshields, 47428 runes.

The absolute best way to farm this set is from the Impassable Greatbridge. Travel slightly to the west and you'll find a single knight riding on a horse next to a cliff. You can kill him and then yeet yourself right off the cliff, which will let you spawn at a Stake of Marika directly above the knight. Hop down, kill him, yeet, rinse and repeat. If you want to use Silver Feet, then this run can easily pay for itself by killing the trio of guillemot chilling on the cliff. I like to use a Flask with a Twiggy tear just so I don't have to pick up my runes, but if that doesn't bother you then it's totally optional.
As an aside I also like to carry the Beast Repelling Torch in my offhand just because every once in a while one of the huge dogs might get drawn in while you're fighting the knight. It doesn't happen often but it can happen enough to be annoying. Best of luck fellow Redmanes and let us burn away the Rot together.

This can be a pain to farm due to the distance between graces, but if you go to the Smoldering Wall site of grace and head west along the wall you should see a small camp to the left of the wall. The camp has a regular footman, 2 soldiers and a single knight and is probably the closest place to a grace. The fact there's only 1 knight might make your odds a little lower than redmane, which has a knight outside and another inside on the battlements by 2 soldiers, but the proximity to the grace makes it quicker to reset in my opinion.

Fun fact: As with all the Knight sets, if you remove the cape and wear something that covers the left shoulder like the Crimson/Navy Hood, it will remove the small shield on the chest.

Honestly the shield looks a little odd so I swap it for the Gilled Greatshield but otherwise this is my favorite set in the game.

The drop rate on the gauntlets is kind of silly. Smoldering Wall site of grace area; 288 Discovery. By the time I got the gauntlets I had killed that knight roughly 60 time and had acquired: 5 Redmane Knight Helms; 8 Redmane Knight Armor, 5 Redmane Knight Greaves, and 10 Redmane Greatshields. Same kind of thing with the Mausoleum Knight gauntlets.

Took 3 kills at Impassable Greatbridge at 274 Discovery without fowl foot. And I got 2 helms and a shield during those 3 along with the armor. It’s good to rebirth for farming. 99 Arcane.

This one is so annoying to farm. dozens of silver pickle feet and 2 hours of running between smoldering wall grace and the knight with 170 item discovery and still dont have the full set. Can kill him 10 times in a row with no drop. Game make me sad
I personally have found the easiest way to farm this set is Fort Gael. Once you can make your way up to the fort, you can kill the first Archer Redmane Knight, then climb up to the top and take out the second one. Then instead of leaving and resting at a site of grace, yeet yourself from the ramparts and respawn at the Stake of Marika. (I also use the twiggy cracked tear in my Physick, then I don’t have to fetch my runes each time)

I think the right hand is bugged. It’s not an armored gauntlet it’s like…a little cloth wrap with some fur that’s black. Doesn’t match the armor nor does it line up with any of the other themed knight sets

So we got the Redmane set, now all we need is the Methodmane set.

The best place to farm this set that's even faster than the grace that's north of Fort Gael is the Smoldering Wall Grace. Not even a few seconds a way from the grace, there's a small group of soldiers and a Redmane Knight just west of it.

So after finishing farming the 5 themed knight sets tonight (that I know of) this clearly was the biggest pain out of all of them...I did eventually figure out what I think is the most optimal way to do it though.
Use the fort Gael north grace, make a bee line through everything down to the lone knight with the great bow, and kill him. When everything catches up you're gonna want to die up near the stairs of the fort so you can use the stake of Marika to revive, this will put you right behind that knight we just killed. From here just grab your runes, run up and take him out, and then go aggro the two soldiers down below so you can die horribly (by the stairs) again. Rinse and repeat until you have your armor and whatever else you want off this guy (Just the shield is important, his other drops can be gotten elsewhere).
Hope this helps, farming this one sucked but fashion is the name of the game and I love these sets.

OK so after farming all 5 of the great knight sets (that I know of) this one is honestly the crappiest but I found what I think is the easiest way to do it.
Use the fort Gael north grace and make a bee line for the knight with the great bow in the back to kill him...then die as close to the steps of the fort as you can so you can use the stake of Marika to revive. This will put you right behind the knight so you can grab your runes, kill him, and then go piss off the two soldiers nearby to die horribly again. Rinse and repeat until you have your armor and whatever else you want off this guy.

The smoldering wall grace is definitely the best spot to farm them, southwest there is a camp a short distance away with some soldiers and a knight.
For the fastest time farming them use crepus's vial to get up close to the troop and use alexander's shard (or warrior jar shard) along with the mohgwyn spear to take them all out extremely fast. If you're early in the game an easy way of taking out the knight would be to use the Greatsword (the BIG one not just regular greatswords) and lion's maw to pancake him to death.
