Remembrances, or "Boss Souls," in Elden Ring are Consumable Tools which grant the Power of their namesake Bosses in the form of Remembrance Equipment & Magic. This page covers their names, trade-in choices, Rune value, and their respective boss' names.
Remembrances can be used for a bounty of Runes, or exchanged for power by speaking to Enia at the Roundtable Hold. They can be duplicated at Wandering Mausoleums, but only once per mausoleum and remembrance.
Remembrances are kept in New Game+.

elden rememberance rune should be 100K it so low compare to its rune drop on defeat 500K

my build is on mhog's weapon it's really good i love this system

I loved the ability to duplicate these. Aside from building a few weapons then replacing the ones used, I enjoyed simply keeping these all in my inventory as a list of what’s been done.

I'm surprised there's no remembrance that offers a shield of some sort, Dark Souls had plenty of those throughout the series. Kinda disappointing

I've beaten the Elden Beast but I can't interact with the bit that's left to trigger an ending until I cash in the remembrances I have left and there are two mausoleums I haven't used I don't wan't to lose them by starting NG+ that's why I came here, I need opinions from anyone who has finished one playthrough on which two remembrances will give me the most value early to mid game NG+ by duplicating them now before I start my next playthrough.
The three I'm having trouble with are Mohg's, Placidusax's, and Maliketh's. Any opinions would be appreciated, I'm sort of thinking to duplicate placidusax and Mohg's and just cash Maliketh's in for the sword apparently the sword conjured by the black blade incantation does no damage only its projectile and takes up two slots but I'm hoping some players who have finished at least one playthrough will be able to tell me if my reasoning is sound with these.

I’ve gotten 7 of these so far and only turned in the starscourge (duplicated) and the rest seem like meh. The only other one I’m interested in is the rennala staff and spell and my int won’t be at required level until at least NG+.
The rememberances are kept in the NG+, but where? Do I have to defeat the bosses again for them to reappear? I used 7 of them on the NG+ and duplicated them for the other items, the rest I carried over to duplicate them on NG+, bet after starting, they just disappeared from my inventory...

If your going to get an item for the elden beast and you can't duplicate it then get the sword, it is used for rune farms that you can use in new game +2 or 1 for that matter

Bit of an odd question, but what remembrance rewards cost runes to get? And for how much do they go for? I don't mean how much the remembrances themselves are worth.
- Anonymous
i was able to duplicate Elden Beast Remembrance twice on my first playthrough (weeping peninsula then northern Mausoleum Compound). i had read this was impossible. might be a bug?
- Anonymous
I understand why Melania and Elden Beast are 50,000, but why Rykard, that dude's way easier?

It's interesting to me that the Remembrances have different colors. And they seem to make some amount of sense too. In general, the golden ones appear to be linked to the Erdtree/Golden Order/Greater Will while the three blues ones all have some connection to the Eternal Cities. Then there's the only red one, the Fire Giant's Remembrance, which is of course because he's the only one related to their god of the flame.

i see people complaining about how most of these are faith based/incantations, but it’s because the bosses are? some are literally vessels of if not literally gods, so of course they’re gonna be faith based. Plus, int is by no means at a lack of unique weapons. Plus, there’s more remembrances bound to be brought with DLC.

I think I need to make this clear because it seems ALOT of people are giving out wrong or misleading information there are 7 'seven' walking mausoleums where you can duplicate a remembrance per playthrough once you have killed the boss that drops a remembrance you can go to 5 of the mausoleums (the ones with giant bells under them) and duplicate any of the 15 remembrances at any time even after no longer having the remembrance in the current playthrough as long as that boss has been killed,
The other 2 walking mausoleums (the ones that jump and have no bell under them in liurnia) you may duplicate 8 of the remembrances only if the boss it comes from does not drop a great rune and only after you have killed each boss in that playthrough hopefully now people will stop giving out false or misleading information.

i feel uncomfortable knowing that maliketh, godfrey and astel have the same rune count of 30k when consuming their remembrance, oh and rykard and malenia share the same amount of 50k as well. this totally makes sense.
- Anonymous
So there is 15 remembrances and and 30 rewards. If you use the 7 mausoleums you could get 22 of the 30 rewards in one playthrough. Then the remaining 8 would have to be grabbed in NG+
- Anonymous
I'm looking for clarification. I understand that the 8 Shardbearer Remembrances can only be duplicated at the 5 Mausoleums with bells, But can I duplicate a minor remembrance at a bell Mausoleum? ie. Instead of duping Morgott at a bell, I wanted to duplicate the Fire Giant's.

Wtf out of 15 of these, the only one that provides me with useful rewards is the full moon queen. Why screw iver int builds? None of these seem that great for dex either...

For those curious, when carrying remembrances forward into NG+, duplicated or original, the offerings are immediately reset
For example, you could redeem the Elden Remembrance for Marika's Hammer in NG, duplicate the remembrance, continue into NG+, then immediately redeem for a second hammer after killing Godrick and unlocking the door to Enia

Thanks for the pure strength boss weapons from software, there was no need for so many, thanks a lot

Literally half of these items have a faith requirement wtf
- Anonymous
You're not done a single playthrough of Elden Ring until you get at least one of each of these in your inventory

I had the nature one for killing that deer. Well, you can face it twice, and thus get not only both weapons but I was able to duplicate a 2nd time even though I did it already. Happened at the ruins of Uld.
It's possible to duplicate all of the Remembrances? If not, what is the maximum amount? I only have 2 so far, Godrick's, which I duplicated using the WP Mausoleum, and Rennala's, not duplicated yet.
- Anonymous
Kind of a shame there are no pure str weapon rememberances. I don't think we needed the 2 greataxes to BOTH be quality imo
- Anonymous
Tips for Remembrance duplication priority:
1. Duplicate if you want to get both version reward within current playthrough
2. (You cannot have 2 Axe of Godrick at first playthrough)
3. (This means at your 2nd playthrough, you can have 2nd axe of godrick AND 2nd Dragon fist, if you choose to duplicate the remembrance)
4. If above 3 points do not apply, you can duplicating the most profitable remembrance.

THe description under the Remembrance of the Blasphemous is wrong. You have Hoarah Loux listed instead of Rykard
- Anonymous
Just tested it out on my NG+ file, you have to kill the bosses and get their remembrance again to duplicate them in the mausoleum, BUT your remembrances from the previous playthrough will carry through if you didn't use them in the first one.
- Anonymous
For some reason my game isn't letting me get rembrances from anyone other than the main bosses you get runes from. Is this broken? Am I missing something?
- Anonymous
There is a glitch.
I dont know if its only my game but i cant copy the main boss Remembrance i specific Mausoleums.
Like at the two at "Mausoleum Compound" Site of Grace i can only duplicate the one from "Regal Ancestor" , "Naturalborn" and "Lichdragon" and nothing else.
The thing is i already duplicated them.
- Anonymous
I’m confused as to if I used the rememberance and go to new game plus, will I be able to duplicate the rememberance I already used in the next play through or will I have to beat the boss again?
- Anonymous
You can only get 1 copy of an item per playthrough. If you go to new game plus you can then get a second copy of a weapon.
A lot of misinformation on here.
You can not duplicate remembrance rewards in the same playthrough, however if you go to new game plus you can then get multiples of the same boss weapon.
source: I just did it and now have 2 of godrick's axes in my inventory.
So with this the mausoleums aren't completely obsolete after 1 playthrough.

Each reward granted by the remembrance cannot be duplicated (for example if i want 2 malenia katanas, its impossible). Only makes sense to duplicate only if you want both of the rewards
Dragonlord is 30k
Lichdragon 30k
Rot Goddess is 50k (not 30k)
Elden is 50k

You cant duplicate them if you have used them. So make sure you dont use them first and duplicate them first.
