Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor Spirit, hewn into the Erdtree.
The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.
Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.
Ancestral spirits exist as a phenomenon beyond the purview of the Erdtree. Life sprouts from death, as it does from birth. Such is the way of the living.

- Obtained as a reward for defeating the Regal Ancestor Spirit at Nokron, Eternal City. [Map Link] Video Location
Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor use in Elden Ring
- Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor can either be traded for 30000 Runes or handed to Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock its power.
- If the second alternative is chosen, the remembrance will supply the player with Winged Greathorn or Ancestral Spirit's Horn. See Remembrance Weapons (Boss Weapons) for details.
- Remembrances can be duplicated at a Wandering Mausoleum. Only one remembrance may be duplicated per mausoleum, and only one time.

Faced him yesterday. Dude teleported a minute into the fight, didn’t show up anywhere else then the whole health bar just went yellow and I got the loot and “you killed the boss” message. Must’ve dropped through the floor and died of falling or something. Last time that happened to me was Dragon Rider in ds2. Good times. Since I didn’t really wanna kill the magnificent bastard, being a sucker for magical Deer beings and such, I’m glad he bit the dust for me.
I will journey the lands between and spread the word of the Deer God, purging the wicked with its blue flames, it’s brilliant antlers as a crown.

very nice source of runes when duplicated with the non-bell Mausoleums in Liurnia, but man.....why do both rewards you get from it have to be so dissapointing?
Copied this so I wouldn't have to both with doing it in new game plus and was going through my inventory today to see which items I'm missing and even tho I chose to get both items from eina I don't have either in my inventory....

Just beat the boss on Nokron (beat it at the lowest level too) but I cannot find the remembrance on my inventory. Any clues?

After beating him somehow all boss weapon choices have disapeard at the mausoleum's and instead there is only one asking if i want to make another regal ancestor spirit weapon even thoug i already copy'd that one
So anyone on ps4 watch out fighting this one untill you got all boss copies ya want lets hope they fix it

there's not like...a third version is there? i ...i killed him in 4 hits with a maxed out gransax ash spear lance. he never even healed, so now im curious if i actually fought the true one, but i got the remembrance so i know its not the lesser one.

I'm surprised that the achievement says that only 0.1% of the playerbase on Steam has gotten the achievement. His drops are pretty good too. FP on killing an enemy is really nice, and I imagine the Axe/Halbadier or whatever weapon is attractive to players just from the asthetic alone. Not sure why so few people have beaten him.

Reminder that this only drops from the REGAL ancestor, not the regular one, they're two different bosses.

Does anyone know which mausoleum I need to go to so I can duplicate it? I've been to multiple and they only show 1 boss, or 4 bosses, but none are this one.

Beat the boss and remembrance didn't drop... Think there is a game issue with boss battles after you've previously beaten the boss in co-op as a finger

I never got this and don't remember using it, anyway to get it back?
I came back here later in the game and he was wasn't here
