Elden Ring Repeating Fire Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is a Unique Skill
- FP Cost: 0 on activation (stance), 26 upon firing.
- Stamina Cost: 10 per shot (120 total).
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- On activation, the user assumes a stance, preparing the crossbow. When inputting light or heavy attacks, the user shoots a barrage of 12 bolts from their respective slots, consuming FP (and stamina while in combat).
- When the stance is being held, stamina regen is reduced by approximately 80%.
- When the stance is being held and when firing, the user can still move at a slower pace.
- Has a delay of about 0.6 second between assuming the stance and actually being able to fire or perform any other action).
- Not affected by Rellana's Cameo.
- First bolt fired will have a small pause, while the remaining 11 bolts are shot in quick succession.
- Provides a 67.65% damage penalty per shot, compared to normal shots under same conditions.
- Shots also get a 45% status buildup penalty and a 50% stance damage penalty.
- Shots also get a 45% status buildup penalty and a 50% stance damage penalty.
- Each shot consumes stamina separately.
- Being interrupted out of this animation will prevent stamina from being consumed further.
- Firing all shots consumes a large amount of stamina. Careful management of it is advised.
- NOTE: The stated FP will be consumed as soon as the first bolt is fired, regardless of successfully firing all shots or not.
- This makes being interrupted mid-firing a poor choice if looking to maximize FP efficiency.

- Precision-aiming and releasing the stance button will temporarily cancel aiming until the animation finishes.
- This also applies when firing, so one must take caution of not releasing the input too early while aiming.

- When not locking onto a target, the user can manually aim the bolts as they fire, effectively allowing to "spread" the bolts over an area.
- If used without having 12 bolts, only the remaining bolts will be fired, but the firing sound played will still be that of 12 shots.
- If used without FP:
- Receives a severe damage penalty (about 90% per shot).

which on average would be best for applying status using crossbow bolts? Pulley crossbow or repeating crossbow? I imagine the 12 shot burst comes out quicker than 4 triple-shot cycles with the pulley.

Imo the bolt modifiers should be switched around, 67% status penalty with only 45% damage penalty. As it is, status will pretty much always proc if you land all 12 bolts making regular or elemental bolts just vastly inferior. There's something to be said about every non status option being inferior regardless of this skill but THAAAAAT'S ELDEN RING.
