Using this on my ranged caster, 100% worth it when I'm not being hit
- Anonymous
so when are we getting the sword this thing is modelled after

Trying out a mage build on a fresh play through and wondering if attack power increases spell power. Is it worth getting this for an intellect build?

"Pairs well with the Ritual Shield Talisman health regen effects."
????????? That one doesnt heal you at all.
- Anonymous
Hmmm, impressive ((nothing in thought)). I'll use it while cleaning a map (genocide) with arrows and fireballs/lightning spears.

Do you want to rage because of losing 1 HP? Use this talisman. Do you wanna keep healing all the time in middle of the fight? Use this talisman. The buff should be of 20-35%, 10% is not worth it unless you're trying to do oneshot trick.

Imagine an FP version of this talisman, which grants +10% damage on full FP, then add Cerulean Hidden Tear to the mix. Broken for sure, but I like broken things ^_^

Honestly decent for Invasions alongside it's counterpart, people tend to not chuck Throwing Daggers at you during an Invasion unless you specificually are using something like a Bubble Shield, because of what I'm assuming to be mass ignorance. So this can oftentimes be a "free" universal 10% damage buff, especially at lower levels where people are even less likely to try throwing something at you.

This talisman works with spells, and im not talking about spells that do physical damage (Rock Sling etc,), it also increases Glintstone Pabbles for example. Its easy to prove, just fire one spell at an enemy and then put on the Talisman, you do more damage.

My favorite part about this site is needing to scroll through all the build spam just to get crumbs of extra information.

i set my health to 1 below maximum so i wouldn't hear the sound while waiting to be summoned. this is not part of miyazaki's vision, so he made co-op full heal you after returning to your world. thanks green turtle talisman is cooler anyway

This is useful to have if you're sporting the Blasphemous Blade and thus pretty much topped off from its generous HP Regen, but....
Given that sfx, I wish it were 15 or 20% additional damage.
Could this site ship its videos any harder? two thirds of the entire page is just bad build videos.

is 10% extra damage really worth playing with 1000% more sweatiness?
- Anonymous
Huh, I always play at 0 volume, didn’t know it was so infuriating to folks

If you look very closely, both this and the ritual shield have the mark of the fell god on them, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why
- Anonymous
I wanted this for exploring sincv I'm a mage, but the stupid ass particle effect is too annoying. The **** is this, Dragon Age: Origins? I never let my companions use buffs because they do this exact **** and it often stayed on in cutscenes.
- Anonymous
Use this with royal remains set, blessed dew talisman, crimson seed talisman and icon shield for endless fun
- Anonymous
Great for ranger/mage builds that try to keep distance in the first place, for melee users this is useless in pvp. Basically for low level glass cannon range builds as they can top off hp easily and survive with this and ritual shield talisman while running light roll with 26-30% damage reduction on first hit(with a soreseal equipped). It's perfect with my lvl 60 +5/12 mage in both pve and pvp
- Anonymous
I feel like the tinnitus inducing sound effect when active was put there by from to stop you from always using this god tier talisman, same for regen stuff like bestial vitality and crimson burst tear. seriously, if you play on pc like me and wear headphones it's so annoying
- Anonymous
I use this talisman basically all the time, and I've never complained about "annoying" red aura, the sound effect and the fact that the damage buff works only at full health instead of > 99% like in DS3. What makes me wonder is how people below are just crying about everything. No offense guys, but it's true. This talisman is clearly not meant to be used in PVP, nobody uses it in PVP, because there is no way you won't take damage from your opponent no matter how git gud you are at the game.

The sound effect it makes begins to take toll after wearing it for long time. At first it signifies that amulet is working, but later when you forget about the amulet, it feels like the game itself have this sound, all the time, for no apparent reason.

Lowered my vigor to 50 from 60 with Crimson Flask +11 and it was a lot easier to have topped off health for more damage against Malenia.

It's a shame this only works at 100% health and not the 99% that the Lloyd's sword ring did in DS3, With a regen effect in that game you could in some scenario's maintain the effect vs low damage projectiles/poison enough to achieve some uptime with it in the right fights. But with this being a 100% only effect a single piece of the briar set will deactivate it from just a roll, Or a single connect with a fan dagger.
For every great new addition to Elden ring there seems to be a matching step backwards elsewhere.

This has by far the most annoying particle effect and not just that, I have no idea who thought this was a good idea at fromsoftware to put an annoying beep-beep, like heart monitor every second that you have this on.
It's really annoying even if the sound effect is set at low level you can still hear it when there's not much going on around you. As soon as I remove it the sound effect is gone.
There's also a second sound effect on top of that one which is like a wind tunnel. WHY?
- Anonymous
equip this instead of the lesser form of the graven mass talisman, you'll thank me later
- Anonymous
I would permanently equip this if it weren't for the particle effect. I guess it's useful for letting you know the buff is active but you could also just look at your health bar. The particle effect is annoying.

This used to also increase rune gain from defeated enemies but I guess it got patched out because It doesn't do that anymore.

this, ritual shield, and blessed dew basically never came off for the rest of my run. they're just so universally applicable.

For anyone curious as to if the damage is calculated based on health at time of casting or time of damage instance, I did some testing with Taker's Flame on the mounted Albinauric enemies in snowfield and can confirm it is based off of health at time of damage instance.
When I stood to hit them with it as they started the 3 arrow into wolf bite, when I took 2 arrows before the flames hit them I would only hit 100% HP after it hit both wolf and rider and it would take 3 casts to kill both. When I only took 1 arrow I would heal to full off of the wolf hit and the damage hit harder on the rider, killing the rider in only 2 casts. I'd get the exact numbers listed but I hate fighting those things and was only there to farm the armor set.

def slept on for caster builds. ive been using this with graven mass and godfrey icon and absolutely vaporizing stuff with the shattering crystal spell

Does this count as a body buff? I'm not sure it's working with Flame, Grant Me Strength.
- Anonymous
pairs nicely with taker's cameo that restores HP on kills. so you dont have to chug HP restore flask to get RST talisman buff
- Anonymous
fyi this stacks with Golden Vow for some really nasty ranged damage/backstabs
- Anonymous
Love this guy. If you're knocked off of maximum HP, you can swap to the Taker's Cameo to regen the HP back as you progress through a zone.
- Anonymous
A must for casters. Particularly casters who stack regen with the bubble shield and shield talisman. The meta is a race to kill the fastest or one shot

Working on a black knife build, looking for some talismans that could boost my weaponart damage. I came across this, did some testing. While it does more damage it also effectively screams HES RIGHT THERE! If i try to use concealing veil or assassins gambit, which is pretty lame. Ill pass. Maybe on my palpatine build ill find a place for this.

Should be noted that Ritual Sword Talisman is currently interacting weirdly with spell scaling on staves and seals. It seems to be multiplying both their spell adj. Values and the spell base values, along with the damage itself. Really weird interraction, but mages are pumping out absurdly high numbers compared to what they should be with this. Honestly since it's the only real way to increase non-gravity magic output, i think it's fine as is.
- Anonymous
This does work for spells. If you want to stack as much damage as possible this is good, but I found that I prefered using mass-graven talisman instead. This is 10% increased damage when you are at full health. Mass-graven is 8% all the time.

This combined with the two things that boost jump damage makes you a ****ing menace, then equip the stat boosting talisman of your choice to top if off and you're doing like 40% more damage with jump attacks lol.

This gives a boost on Damage Negation as well apparently, although around 6.817 more for me

bruh, it turned my full moon spell into a death ball of death. WAY more than 10% damage increased, at least for spells.

I am now getting a damage reduction from this amulet at max health after the latest patch (1.03)
- Anonymous
I believe this talisman is bugged with some of the weapons that had bugged arcane scaling before. For example, Rivers of Blood katana seemingly gets a major damage decrease with 100% and this talisman equipped
- Anonymous
Why does this increase also the spell damage but all other "raises attack power" items doesn't? a bug that they will fix? like for example the BLUE DANCER CHARM doesn't do jack with spells at least in 1.03 patch
- Anonymous
Seemingly bugged with Sorceries and Incantations, granting the bonus 10% too early in the math. This means that the 10% is happening before Sorcery and Incantation scaling value so it's being used additively and then multiplied. Example: 550 honed bolt should be doing 605 damage, but in reality with a 300 incant scaling seal, it's doing closer to 900 damage.
Similar to some other reports, I'm getting about a ~10% damage increase at 100% hp

Increased my frostbolt damage from 706 to 777 so it's a pretty solid damage increase, the downside is that the visual effect is REALLY loud.
- Anonymous
I have no idea why but this thing makes my normally 550dmg lighting bolts do 900+ that's a lot more than 10% there has to be some bugged interaction going on here

Can some explain why this one give dmg increase for spells while another (like Blue Dancer Charm with low equipment load) don't? I just get confused with this.
They all mention "Raises attack power " but this is not always the case.

good for farming/sniping/1-shot situations where you can prep well and don't expect to take damage

You get a red aura AND an annoying sound effect all the time at full HP. It actually makes me not want to use it, to be honest.
