  • Sell Value: runes currency elden ring wiki guide 18 200
  • Despite not including the "wearer becomes a slightly easier target for foes" phrase in its description like the other pieces of the Rotten Duelist Set, it shares the same taunting effect, similar to Shabriri's Woe.
  • When used together with the Rotten Duelist Helm, the hood will go over the helm.
  • This chest piece can be altered so that only the armbands are present, which makes the set resemble the enemies as they are found in the world.

can this stack multiplicatively with shabriri? to provide a greater 'taunt' effect? or is it just one or the other? as in, this would free a talisman slot? asking for my dedicated tank build. Thanks in advance.

      • Anonymous

The Shabriri “ debuff “ doesn’t really make a difference if you’re just playing solo, the debuff will make a difference if you go co-op, doesn’t matter if it’s your world or someone else’s world you’re joining you’re gonna be the one getting focused if near enemies or in a boss arena.
Also, If you’re using mimic tear for boss fights the talisman works and I’m sure this armor piece will work too in the place of the talisman if you want to use something else on what would have been the Shabriri’s Woe talisman.

i wonder why they didn't just have the hood up on any smaller headpiece and have the altered version have the hood stay down, make the armbands just go on the arms instead of being part of the body armour.

i want a personaly writen explenation from miyazaki on why an agro drawing armor set is light armor and not heavy armor

            • Anonymous

Pairing this cloak with the helmet from the same set causes the hood to go over the helmet instead of being draped over your shoulders.
It should also be noted that this armor dyes the default Female chest cloth red.

why the heck is this a CHEST PIECE and not a head armor????? so much fashion souls potential, thrown away before it had a chance

For some nice Elden drip, use the altered version of this, champion headband,, Zamor bracelets, and sanguine noble waistcloth. Straight out of darkest dungeon. I use this on my faith / dragon build along with 2 halo scythes. You're welcome

This cape makes me crash when I put it on for some strange reason. What kind of bug is this. Am i the only one concerned ?

Is anyone aware if the hood goes up with any other helmets than the duelist helmet. Probably doesn't, but thought I'd ask just in case

Killed the guy north of Liturgical Town enough times to earn over 200k runes and he never dropped anything ever again after the first time I killed him, in which he dropped both his legs and his weapon, but no top. So can you only ever get one of these tops per run?

Literal dogshit dungeon for almost no worthwhile reward. Elden ring is a brilliant game but Miyazaki really shat the bed with these catacomb dungeons with its 50 imp ganks and ****ing sniper cleanrot knights. Save yourself the trouble and ignore this place.

The hood is down doesn't seem to be any way to put it up, can be altered tho removes the cloak to see the metal snakes on your arm.
