Sacred Relic Sword is a Greatsword in Elden Ring. The Sacred Relic Sword scales primarily with Strength, Faith, and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for its additional holy damage.
Sword wrought from the remains of a god who should have lived a life eternal.
Thoughts on what the weapon portends are many and varied. Some consider it the mark of a great sin, or a sign of great devastation. Some think of it as the end of an age, while others; the beginning.

By a large margin the absolute best PVE weapon in the game, unfortunately you only get it after finishing the game, I hope I will be able to use in the new DLC
- Anonymous
This on the right hand and blasphemous blade on the left you will not have the need to heal anymore exept bosses

just finished new game+, upgraded other weapons to +10 and no more ancient sombers for this one and no more will to start another journey, could anyone drop me relic sword +10? What weapon(s) do you want in return?

Ridiculous how this thing has no unique moveset, what were they thinking with the boss Remembrance weapons?

Holy Christ and I thought the Blasphemous Blade was OP!
This thing is awesome lol

Stole this from some people trading at Church of Elleh at RL 20. It'll look good mounted on my wall.

Sure love smashing this divine elegant holy sword made from the remains of a god into the floor like a bonehead stick-wielding caveman who has never used a sword before

Ash of War from this weapon grants 20% rune gain from enemies killed. It doesn't however grant the rune gain if enemies are killed with any R1 or R2 attacks.
- Anonymous
Missed opportunity to make this a colossal sword. Out of all the weapons that get shrunk in the wash, I thought this would be the exception.
- Anonymous
Haha Albinaurics go brrrrrrrr.
Okay but In all seriousness this weapon is THE grinding tool, I get about 60k runes per run, and one run takes about 15 seconds
- Anonymous
How a effective farm create 6.000.000 runes per hour? In 3 min i created 1.000.000 with ONLY golden scarab
- Anonymous
The real reason why Gideon stood in our way was to get this sword and genocide all the other filthy Albinaurics. Rest in peace, Gideon, we will honor and continue your legacy.

If only there were a 10 faith incantation that completely negate this. Oh wait
- Anonymous
honestly nuking the entire map isn't enough. it should have 360 degree coverage, deal death blight, come out instantly, give infinite hyperarmor, and also delete the profile of anybody killed by it.
- Anonymous
It wouldn't be half this powerful if people could actually cooperate. Even in a free-for-all, it's a common cause to just gank Wawe of Gold spammers until they either switch, change or lose, but no. Most people let them go unchecked.
- Anonymous
This needs a massive nerf for PVP. It's completely overpowered in colosseum, especially in 3v3.
- Anonymous
No wonder this weapon is op, it's literally the body of Chadagon forged into a weapon by the Elden Beast.

headcanon: the rocks in mohg's palace arent grey because theyre rocks, theyre grey because its albinauric blood

I use this sword for the rune farm at palace approach road and for the groups of the wandering noble sorcerers that use teleportation to hit and run from all directions then vanish before I can get close enough for melee. I summon Therolina if I run into a revenant in need of getting a brand new arsehole ripped. What I find interesting, in a non judgemental way, are the comments here from players who complain and cry nerf at first mention of moonveil and rivers of blood when 'wave of gold' is many times worse than 'corpse piler' or 'transient moonlight' when you consider the range and width of the wave and the absolutely mental damage 'wave of gold' can do with high FTH, two fingers heirloom, shard of Alexander, ritual sword and sacred scorpion talismans, cast golden vow incantation, and use the physik with faith and holy damage tears. With that set up at volcano manor, the fire monk outside the temple of eiglay takes just over two thousand five hundred, first man-serpent to the right of prison town church takes three thousand one hundred and fifty six, the dogs around the corner take three thousand eight hundred plus small change. I'm not doing two respecs just to test 'corpse piler' and 'transient moonlight' but I'd be surprised to see that kind of damage from either, maybe moonveil could with a similar set up geared towards INT instead of FTH. I know TML comes out very quickly but neither TML or CP's effective range is anywhere near what WoG is capable of and that's without the width of the wave making it considerably harder to get out of the way of it if a player quickly switched to the relic sword and got the weapon art off before you could close on them.
Like I said I'm not judging, but it's strange that you don't hear anyone complain about this sword and its weapon art when it can easily be spammed and do massive damage with no skill required.

This is just a really good dex faith weapon. I really like it. Good scaling and AR without even having to two hand. NG plus you can dual wield two!

Def the most op weapon in the game for mobs making it the perfect grinding tool, this plus a bunch of omejs outside mogs palace will give you 50k souls every 15 seconds

The skill on this weapon is broken af. It covers an entire field with a massive width and deals insane damage if you get caught.

So this sword is basically Queen M according to the description

The orginal effect is better looking because it shows the Elden Arc symbol on the ground with the flames.

This weapon makes you an "Overpowered God", it is amazing !!!

Elden Beast: "Damn I need a weapon to fight this Tarnished!" *looks at Radagon on the ground* Elden Beast: "heh"

Wa is a just a tad bit large in my opinion. Not a complain mind you, makes getting the invisible scarabs easy as pie.

The weapon art is stunning. But it's a f**king travesty of a design decision or oversight that this sword and its weapon art out of all weapons in the game that do holy damage does not put undead down permanatly. I found this out the hard way by dying to the beastmen skeletons at Farum Azula.

HONED RAYS OF GOLD DELIVER DEATH TO GANKS AND INVADERS ALIKE… and also the albinurics in moghwyn palace.
- Anonymous
The only great sword that has 110 crit points, it's probably because this sword is extra pointy. Not sure how much more damage that crit damage is compared to other great swords?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
A sword with a very pointy tip but does not have the thrusting R2. what is life
- Anonymous
Just beat game on ng+ and can’t claim this sword a second time. Wondering if they patched it
- Anonymous
Be warned, for whatever reason, probably an oversight; this sword is entirely unaffected by the 1.06 patch.
At the time of writing, it's speed is noticably slower then all other greatswords except the Golden Order Greatsword.
- Anonymous
Good to have a single unique thin greatsword in the game of overly broad weapon design.
- Anonymous
the weapon says standard/pierce but I can't figure out which attacks do pierce damage...
- Anonymous
I like how they have to put a ****ing disclaimer on the weapon page to clarify that it doesn't prevent undead from reviving because 90% of the users on this site lack the reading comprehension to distinguish between weapons, spells, and skills that merely do holy damage and ones that are actually associated with the Golden Order.

Radagon was transformed into a glorified farm tool lol. Mans literally a hoe lmao

I think I'll call it Blingbringer, or T-Pose Sword of Destruction

Con: Most late game bosses are either resistant or super resistant to holy damage. You have better options for a NG+ faith build, like fire damage!
Pro: You get an overly cool anime attack weapon skill. Too cool for you to realize Elden Ring is a Miyazaki game.

The game's apology for making the hardest bosses resistant to holy damage
- Anonymous
I did not notice this at first, but if you rewatch the cutscene, you can see the sword is made from Radagon's corpse, you also can see his legs used as the handle and his arms used as the crossguard.

You would think that with that narrow blade and sharp point at the end this thing would be amazing for thusting, unfortunately they decided to put the awful horizontal slash as its R2 instead of the trust the claymore has
- Anonymous
was this shurnken down? O_o i remembered it quite majestic, now it looks like a straight sword wielded like a greatsword :/ whats going on!?
- Anonymous
This is the "I'm only playing NG+ to get the ending achievements, get the hell out of my way" weapon

Should have had hollowslayer moveset. Feels undignified slamming the bodies of gods into the mud on light attacks
- Anonymous
if radagon/marika T-posing turned into a sword, would we get a scythe if they were dabbing ?
- Anonymous
kinda wish this thing was a colossal. looks weird all shrunken down
- Anonymous
Any reason lore wise why this doesn't stop undead enemies from resurrecting? seems pretty arbitrary what does and does not put them down permanently. One of the offensive golden order incantations, discus of light, doesn't kill undead once and for all either. I think there are a couple of other weapons, AoW and maybe incantations as well that don't stop undead from resurrecting the way you would expect them to seeing as they deal holy damage, and I know for a fact crafted holy damage arrows don't stop them getting back up either.

Great for PvE, not so great for PvP. Pick another weapon if you're looking for a PvP weapon. You can roll right through this with the roll iframes OR jump over it.
- Anonymous
Ash of war on this thing is phenomenal. Not only it’s useful for farming, it can also be used in situations that you are outnumbered.

A coiled great sword you get from defeating the final boss? Wow, this really isn’t Dark Souls.

I use it in my NG+ with the Blasphemous Blade dual wielded (Milos Sword is also nice in PvE, since you always get a lot of FP back when you use the Golden Wave AoW). My secondary weapons are two Winged Scythes. Its very nice for a faith build and when you buff up, you can reach easily over 3.5k damage with the AoW on normal mobs. A good weapon to clean areas with a lots of enemies. :D
