I guess you're supposed to be farming for stones for your main weapons, then have access to this ball bearing later for the other weapons you wanna try out more easily.

makes no sense that its near the Capital Mid-Late game... the first one should be in limgrave and second one should be near Raya Lucaria

Did this today, was easy. Follow the instructions of getting to altus plateau, and I just ran past all the enemies, grabbed the site of grace, then very easy to the sealed tunnel (at the bottom of a ravine with water in it).

Honestly better off buying with the bell bearing. Grab the dectus medallions, circle east of stormveil to skip Margit & Godrick, beeline north thru Lucaria, all the way to Caria Manor, jump the crevasse at the eastmost tip, follow the huge path to the Dectus lift, keep shooting east up the stairs, past the next gate, keep going east from the gold tree, make your way down into the drink on the south side, keep heading south until you hit a cave. Go in, hug right, bearing will be in a chest.

for everyone that's complaining because it's a late-game area you can literally go there as soon as you start the game so just go there and get it

It is amazing how hard difficult it is to figure out where to find this, as nowhere is it mentioned in what ****ing land the "Sealed Tunnel" is located.

Yeah its kinda screwed how they gated these bell bearings when the stones are hard to farm BUT for a second playthrough; get a strike weapon to +1/2 and get the bell (1) in raya lucia cavern. +6 that weapon and you can get to atlas plateau easy and get this one. You just need to get to Ruin-Strewn Precipice and run to the grace before the Magma Wyrm. Then just wack that wyrm (might take a few tries) and you are now able to roam the Atlas freely.

For leveling up fast just ride to Lennis rise and use the big ball farming method and use the morning star on the almost dead dragon aswell.

the fact that you only get this on Altus Plateau, and can get a unique weapon to +9 before even stepping in there shows how they screwed up normal weapons.

If you are looking for the SOMBERSTONE miner's bell bearing you are on the WRONG PAGE, it's here => https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Somberstone+Miner's+Bell+Bearing+(2)
Somehow I landed here after looking for the somberstone miner's bell bearing so I understand some of you are a bit puzzled.

I'm not sure if people are posting Atlus tunnel as an inside joke, but this item is 100% in Sealed Tunnel. Just grabbed it right now https://imgur.com/a/GbLh0XY. Just get rid of the invisible wall and it will be in the back right of the very first room.

If anyone's like me and explored all of sealed tunnel and didn't find it, the actual location is Atlus Tunnel, it drops from the boss there.

There are two mines: Old Atlus tunnel, and Atlus Tunnel. The latter is the one you want. The boss will be two crystalian to fight at the same time.

I have explored ALL of the sealed tunnel and it’s not there unless I’m missing some sort of illusory wall

I really dislike the way they handled those bell bearings, by the time you get the +3/4s your weapon will be using +5/6s so if you wanna swap youre have to sit at a +12 weapon until you get the one you wanna use.

And wanting multiple weapons to use is basically impossible to keep them at the same level unless you use only sombering stone weapons as your second one.
Then upgrading the weapon also costs like 100k souls just to get it to +12, and probably another 80k+ to +18. (its not that bad but its just the icing on the cake1)
