Are there any enemies that drop this? I know that there are ones for stones 1-5 and 7. What about any for 6,8, and 9?

By far the easiest Sombre 6 I have found so far without doing the Abductor Virgin teleport route to Volcano Manor:
1) Take Rya's hand or simply get to the Manor.
2) Run through it till you get to the Guest Hall Site of Grace.
3) Open the door overlooking the lava lake with the lava/waterfall in the distance in front of you.
4) The rooftop of the building below you on the right has the stone. You can jump down or use the ladder & run behind the building and up the slope to get to it.

For those that want 1 early without breaking quests your best bet is the one in Sellia Crystal Tunnel, but the boss here is quite hard for a low level character

An easier Somber Stone 6 that isn't listed here, along the route of the 5 and 7 from the Raya Academy Maiden teleport:
1. Drop down the lavafall and navigate to the nearby base elevator.
2. Ride this elevator up to reach a platform with a patrolling Lizard and another elevator (Somber Stone 5 is up there, too)
3. From this platform, jump to the circular roof of the broken/sinking building next to it
4. Navigate and jump from roof to roof to finally obtain the Somber Stone 6 on a body located on a lower roof.
5. Go back and take the second elevator up for Somber Stone 5 (and 7 if you want to attempt the jump skip to get the one behind the Maiden on the balcony, after raising the bridge)

Eventually, you will come across a sole Virgin Abductor. Proceed past this enemy on the lefthand side of the large lava lake until you see a dark doorway on your left. Inside this room is the smithing stone, found on a corpse surrounded by several Basilisk enemies."

The stone in Uhl Palace Ruins can only be accessed from Ainsel River Main, which requires progressing through Ranni's quest. From the grace, head southwest through the Uhl Palace Ruins and follow the tunnel behind it. Take the first left past the ants and you'll find it.

There are actually quite a few 5,6, and one 7 somber stone in the volcano manor underneath. If you let the inquisitor boss eat you in the academy you’re teleported under volcano manor. If Juno down and explore the runes you will find many stones on corpuses but lots of dangerous enemies

There is a Somber Smithing stone [6] in the crystal tunnel next to Sellia town of sorcery, you get it by killing the boss there

Found one in Mt Gelmir/Volcano Manor. From the Temple of Eiglay site of grace, head left and up the shortcut elevator. Near the top is a hole in the wall, where you can jump to. There's a Stoneward Key and a trash mob. To the left is an open window with a ledge beneath. Jump trough it and follow the ledge on the left until you come to a room with frogs. Clear it and at the end is a Somber Smithing Stone 6.

I just checked old altus tunnel, a 6 DOES spawn behind the shack. Its the one without a tunnel, and you need to go around the left side not the right side.

For those of you wondering about the existence of the one in Uhl Palace Ruins, it literally does exist. It's technically in the zone but you can only reach the Somber (6) stone by going through the north of Ainsel River and you can only go through the north by progressing through the questline of Ranni (unless there's multiple ways to get there).

I found one in Leyndell. When you start from the Est capital Rampart and try to go to the door that lead to the zone in the est, you shoukd walk across some flying demi humans.

On the left there will be a hole with a demi human praying in front of a little monolith ( I think ) and there you will find a somber +6 !

There's one in the old altus tunnel if you go down to the ground level with two big knights there will be a shack with a dog in it, if you walk behind the shack you'll find a somber smithing stone 6

The one in Mt Gelmir is south of the first campsite. Past the Magma Wyrm there will be a set of graves. Directly on the path after that will be a glowing statue. There will be a surprise attack by large bear needed to break the statue.

There's also one near Boulevard Balcony (or something) site, in Leyndell. You need to go down the stairs, across the bridge and turn left. Go down another set of stairs and into the ruins. It will be somewhere to the right.
