Boosts Glintstone sorcery skills, not spells. This means any ashes of war style weapon art that has to do with being 'magical', IE, does magic damage not including ice. Examples of this in action are the carian sword repeating stab from Rogier's Rapier itself, Sword of Night and Flame, Moonveil, Darkmoon Greatsword, and other similar weapon arts that, in at least one part of the weapon art, do magic damage.
This is every moonveil spamming scumbag's favorite piece of armor.

It seems to increase glintstone ashes of war, but not sorceries.

This is not increasing the power of my glintstone spells at all. I unequipped everything and put on only the full armor set. No change in damage vs being naked. I tried like eight different glint spells. Am I missing something or is this set bugged?
Buffs radahn rain with radahn spear ash of war
Also buffs enchanted shot ash of war
Mighty shot ash of war with Magic arrows
I'll see about cold arrows and blackbow barrage soon
