Tools, or Reusable Tools, in Elden Ring can be used to damage Enemies, provide simple communication in Multiplayer, and even weaken Bosses. In-game, Consumables are also referred to as tools, but this wiki chose to refer to reusable tools simply as "Tools" to avoid the less recognizable name of "Reusables." Torches have been included as honorary Tools considering their prominent use to illuminate areas, despite being an armament.

Enables item crafting from the main menu.

Telescope
Astrology tool used by members of the Carian royal family.
Part of a larger instrument, removed and stolen away.
Allows the viewer to better see faraway things.
During the age of the Erdtree, Carian astrology withered on the vine.
The fate once writ in the night skies had been fettered by the Golden Order.
Spectral Steed Whistle
A delicate goldwork ring.
Can be used as a finger whistle.
Sound the whistle to summon and ride spectral steed.
(Dismounts steed when used while on horseback.)
Upon death, the spectral steed can be summoned again, but doing so consumes the Flask of Crimson Tears.
Spirit Calling Bell
A bell capable of summoning various spirits from ashen remains. It usually requires FP to use.
Spirits can only be summoned in the vicinity of a rebirth monument. When summoning is possible, the monument icon will be visible on the left side of the screen.
Only one type of spirit may be summoned at once, and none may be summoned during multiplayer.
Torch
This torch's tip is wrapped in oil-soaked rags and set on fire.
The flame can illuminate dark locales, or used to attack enemies.
Can be raised up when equipped in the left hand, illuminating more of the surrounding area.
Sewing Needle
A large sewing needle, curved like a fang.
Boc the demi-human's prized possession.
Mimic's Veil
Golden veil of intricate design.
Uses FP to mimic nearby objects.
When Godrick was hounded from Lendell, the Royal Capital,
this was one of a multitude of treasures he took with him. Also known as "Marika's Mischief".
Lantern
A small waist-worn lantern that illuminates surroundings.
Use once to turn on, and again to turn off.
While its light is dimmer than that of a torch, it has the advantage of freeing up the user's hands.
Wraith Calling Bell
Bell used by worshippers of revenants.
Ring bell, using FP to summon prowling wraiths, This can be done multiple times in a row.
Wraiths are said to be the vengeful spirits of those who died when cursed.
Golden Tailoring Tools
Tailoring tools made from gold.
Tools brought with the red-haired Radagon when he married into the Carian line.
With these, even demigod attire can be altered at a site of grace.
Gold Sewing Needle
Sewing needle made of gold.
Unique item made to alter demigod attire.
One of the tools brought by Radagon when he entered into marriage
with Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, and joined the Carian line.
Memory Stone
A black, lightly beguiling stone.
Prized by the sorcerers who produce them.

This empty pot somehow mends itself when broken.
Essential vessel for crafting cracked pot items.
The materials and magics sealed within deploy their effects when the pot is thrown.
Ritual Pot

Lost Ashes of War
Empty ashes of war, devoid of any memories of battle.
Unable to apply any kind of affinity in their current state, but can be used by Smithing Master Hewg of the Roundtable Hold to recreate other ashes.
Thus does the copy pass into becoming the genuine article.
Whetstone Knife
Whetstone with a cipher inscription, made to look like a small knifeblade.
Allows the use of ashes of war at a site of grace to bestow new battle arts and affinities to armaments as skills.
The battle arts and affinities will depend on the ashes of war used.
Glintstone Whetblade
Glintstone whetblade with a cipher engraved. Can be used as a whetstone knife.
When applying an affinity using physical or magic-type ashes of war, an additional affinity of magic or frost can be chosen.
Black Whetblade
Grants choice of affinity upgrade to weapon(Poison, Blood, or Occult)
Sancrified Whetblade
Sanctified whetblade with a cipher engraved. Can be used as a whetstone knife.

Claw-marked stone eye received from Gurranq, Beast Clergyman.
It is said to tremble when near Deathroot.

A small, clouded mirror that reflects a flesh-and-blood figure.
Makes the bearer take on the appearance of a summoned cooperator.

Man they really oughta add a Homeward Bone/Coiled Sword Fragment in future updates/dlc. There's near no reason to use the Memory of Grace outside of speedrunning. Being locked from fast travelling because some enemy in bum**** nowhere has aggroed on me is very ****ing annoying.

I remember when I first found the 'wraith calling bell' and feeling pretty happy I'd get to use the same homing skulls those wraith callers had been annoying the f**k out of me with all over Liurnia. then trying it out and seeing the sh**ty little damage it did. like someone has already said the offensive tools are nothing but bollocks.

Man the offensive tools are trash.
Tested them all out at 99 Int + 99 Fth:
Wraith Calling Bell dealt a whopping 178 damage (Compared to a Glintstone Pebble cast with a +25 Prince of Death Staff with these stats dealing 605 damage for the same FP cost)
Omen Bairn dealt 448 damage (Compared to an uncharged Ancient Death Rancor cast with the same stats and +25 Prince of Death Staff dealing 1476 damage for the same FP cost)
Ancestral Infant's Head was semi-okay in that it did 1168 damage in an area and only requires Int to scale... (Compared to Glintstone Arc with aforementioned stats and staff dealing 587 for 10 FP, which would be 1174 damage for 20 FP, 7 less than the item)
Regal Omen Bairn did at the very least, good damage at 1750 damage but my gosh 50 FP is quite steep for that (Consider a charged Stars of Ruin which will cast faster than the item and deal 2004 damage for only 38 FP)
This doesn't even factor in how expensive it is to level both Int and Fth to a decent amount (Many Sorceries and Incantations can deal far better damage with only single stat investments, like Int + Carian Regal Scepter or Arc with Dragon Communion Seal)

Excuse me, but does this classification exist anywhere in the game? Because it's pretty damn loose. A torch is a weapon. The Hand Latern, as far as I know, is a consumable. In fact, that's what most of these items are. And they should be in that category, along with the appropriate tag "reusable."
