Twinblade is the basic Twinblade weapon in Elden Ring. The Twinblade scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity is a good Weapon for melee users who want to perform fast slashes that spin in a larger area of effect.

A sword with blades on both sides of the hilt.
This weapon is difficult to wield, and requires high dexterity.

Can be wielded with a single hand, but its true strength is enabled with dual-handed spinning attacks.

The Twinblade weapon can be found at the following location:

Is inside a chest, in the underground cellar, surrounded by four intact walls, just entering Dragon-Burnt Ruins. (Not the one with the rats. The one whose entrance is in the southeast building, which you can get inside using Torrent.)

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War.
Twinblade can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.
This weapon shares the same Skill as the Scimitar.
Sell Value: 100.
Low requirements, great bleed buildup when infused and buffable.
NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed of some attacks has been increased and the recovery time has been reduced.

  Charging the 1 handed R2 makes your character duck making some of the enemy attacks miss you. I wonder if this also works with the Pumpkin head like how the Stamp AoW can sometimes make enemies hit your head thereby lowering the damage.

  The 2h running r2 of the godskin peeler is one of the best attacks in the game with proper talismans. I wish a strength twinblade had that moveset. Anyone know if this move is pierce or slash? I would assume pierce but i couldnt confirm with some testing, wasn't seeing any advantage with the spear talisman.

  Excellent weapon, especially for dex-int; it counts as both a sword and a polearm so you benefit from almost every ash of war that works with the spec. Great reach, quick one-handed moveset, and if you run into a crowd of light enemies the two-handed moveset can make mincemeat of them.

  Twinblade seems to be the only weapon in the game which can perfectly benefit from any of the "weapon talismans" like claw talisman and curved sword talisman.

  Most easily-obtainable weapon in the game. This is one of only 2 weapons you can get at the start by just walking up and taking it - the other being the Lance. You don't even need to sneak past anything, making it even easier to get than the Flail + Lordsworn's Greatsword. All you need to do is head to your right as soon as you get out of the starting dungeon, drop down the ledge into the lake (if you pick the right spot you won't take any damage), run to Yura's location, and then continue to where the Agheel Lake South grace is. Resting at it triggers the first Melina scene, which gets you Torrent. Running back the way you came will put you right next to the ruined house you need Torrent to jump into, and from this direction, no enemies are in the way of it.

  Most (probably even all) blood infused weapons get the affix "Blood" added to their name - either as prefix or in case of "Someone’s" as infix. Special snowflake Twinblade gets "Bloody" instead.

  Ok, i personally don't use it because it feels cheap (in PvE, i don't play PvP because i suck), but browsing here and there i think i found a (in my modest opinion) really really good strategy for using this (spoiler, involve investing in arcane and cheese...ahem, no, i mean bleed):
  If i'm not wrong, twinblades apply the effect twice when two-handed, no? So if i have 45 bleed, a twohanded attack applies 90.
  If you make it a bleed twinblade +25 and you have about 60 arcane, the passive bleed is 147 if i'm not mistaken, so it deals with a single light attack when 2 handed about 300 bleed! 3 attacks and you have inflicted 882 bleed buildup, and for context Malenia has 420 "bleed resistance"; i call this the fatherless strategy.
  
  Now, that said i may have done some counting wrong, but where i have tested it (albinuarics and other enemies) i would attack them once and instantly proc bleed.
  If i'm wrong or there are better strategies let me know because i did this only for curiosity and i may be mistaken.

  A very good weapon class for PvP. Its high active frames make it good at combatting laggy players, as well as its general speed making it good for punishing slower attacks and attacks out of hit stun.

  I dont know about powerstancing, but twohanding this sucks. When fighting enemies, bosses in particular, you usually only get first tick before they move. Bleed procs are nice, but basicly only way to deal serious damage. Katanas and curved swords are better.

  Insanely versatile weapon class when dual wielded. Powerstance attacks provide great coverage with long, lingering hitboxes and multi hits for status procs, plus they have good damage. Running 1 handed r1 is a safe thrust for counter damage. 2 handed r2 is a multi hit that catches people off guard with delayed charging and deals great damage on the final hit- charging adds extra hits. They handle so many different situations and can be effective at nearly anything when their full moveset is utilized.

  used keen twinblades with bloodflame incantation a la sith lord build. Absolutely melts radagon and does pretty good against Elden Beast ( if you can ****ing hit that piece of ****, he went flying around way too much for me )

  I CAN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH:
  TWINBLADE + ICE SPEAR Ash of War !!! COLD INFUSED:
  Works Amazingly Well for INT Build + 20/20 STR/DEX.
  The Animation is Stylish & Fast.
  You turn your Twinblade into a Frost Javelin of Doom. Damage is Excellent. Frost is awesome. Very fast ranged thrusting damage, scales with INT I believe.
  Only Con/Downside is the the Range being rather poor.
  Cold Infused means you can two hand to build up Frost rapidly. Or hold R2 from Horseback to Windmill Spin.

  I run this with a Bleed Affinity and my Dragon Communion Arcane build. At +25 and 50 Arcane this triggers Blood Loss in two inputs (it's two hits one-handed and 4 hits two-handed) on MOST standard enemies and bosses...I don't really pay attention, but it's quick.

  If you head directly north from the Seaside Ruins Grace Site, you will find this location rather easily. You DO need Torrent is required in order to jump the wall. Unless you can get knocked up and above via the Dragon Agheel. Though I would not recommend trying...

  Twinned Knight Swords only do 3 more damage and have worse scaling, Godskin Peeler has 2 more damage, better scaling and a cool ash of war ill never use. Twinblades get B scaling with Quickstep but the other 2 dont, they have worse scaling. Twinblades also have BETTER scaling and the same build up when using bleed, frost, poison. I see NO REASON to use any other twinblade. Change my mind, seriously.

  There are 2 cellars in the Dragon-Burnt Ruin. The obvious one surrounded by enemies takes you to a rat-filled cave and a transporter trap. The other one is in the only ruined building ya can't access by foot near the south side, you must use Torrent's double jump to get over the wall. There you'll see the other underground entrance leading to the Twinblade.

  If you can't find the weapon, in the ruins, look for a building where all 4 walls are intact. Get on the horse, jump over, you'll find the entrance. Enjoy :)

  Chest for twinblades is in an area that you have to jump in, and then go down the stairs, there are no enemies on that part, if you're seeing enemies then you're going to the chest that transports you!

  You should add that it's to the south of the ruins, and that you have to jump over to it with your horse. There are two underground areas in the ruins, one of which leads to a seperate location while the other contains the twinblades.

  I believe the scaling is incorrect.
  All videos I have seen of the weapon show a scaling of str: C and Dex: D.
  
  I have even heared people comment about the odd scaling thinking it should be the other way around.
