Incantation originating from the maddening Three Fingers.
Causes the yellow flame of frenzy to violently burst forth from the caster's eyes.
Hold to continue channeling the flame. This incantation can be used while in motion.
It is the maddening pain and unstoppable tears of those afflicted with the flame of frenzy brought into being.

Elden Ring Unendurable Frenzy Guide
- Frenzied Flame Incantation
- Stamina Cost: 40
- Deals fire damage
- Inflicts Madness buildup (40) to opponents and (3) to self.
- Note that all but a handful of enemies in PVE are immune to Madness.
- Continuously shoots semi-random, upward arcing projectiles in an area in front of the caster, and can be continued until the user has no more FP.
- Cerulean Hidden Tear can be used to cast this spell indefinitely for up to 15 seconds or until the Madness meter is filled completely, and Speckled Hardtear can be used to temporarily increase Madness resistance, further raising the casting duration.
- The user has some resistance to stagger when using this spell, so it can trade hits with smaller enemies quite well.
- The wide range of the attack makes it somewhat less effective against smaller, high health enemies.
- This can be mitigated by free aiming the camera slightly lower than it would otherwise be aiming at a locked on target. This will cause the projectiles to be fired straight into the target, rather than the normal upward arc.
- Madness damage continues to build if the spell is channeled for longer.
- This limits is effectiveness when coupled with the Cerulean Crystal Tear and/or Cerulean Hidden Tear, since the spell will be interrupted if the madness meter is filled completely.
- This also makes it the best item for inflicting Madness on the user, allowing one to trigger the Black Dumpling effect more reliably. However, it takes a considerable FP investment, or low focus to trigger madness in a single use of the spell. The FP investment can be mitigated by using Cerulean Hidden Tear.
- If madness is NOT triggered by this spell, when the spell ends (either voluntarily, or by consuming all available FP), it will trigger an additional attack, causing the user to throw their head back and shoot projectiles randomly in an area 360 degrees around the caster. This additional attack is used even if the user has no FP.
- This makes the spell useful as a crowd clearing tool even if you don't spend huge amounts of FP on it
- However, this makes the spell dangerous to use close to threatening enemies, since the additional attack cannot be interrupted, so you almost ensure that anything that survives the initial attack will be able to counter-attack.
- Note: FP cost significantly reduced for initial cast as of Patch 1.07, from 30 to 22. The FP cast for holding the spell once cast is unchanged however.
Elden Ring Unendurable Frenzy Notes and Tips

i love the unavoidable true combo that takes away 75% of my health from flaming strike into unendurable frenzy free win button

This spell is really good in PvP as well. If you meet someone who doesn't know how to outspace or dodge this spell (of which there are quite a lot more than you would expect) they just get absolutely blasted. You need very high Mind and Faith and armor with good Focus for this spell to be really strong, so it's only a viable option for pure Faith based caster builds, but for those builds it's very effective.

Blasting away a boss with this spell has to be one of the most satisfying things in this game :)

probably one of the most broken spells in the game for raw dps on multiple targets

I didn't use any frenzy incantations in my first playthrough with my full incantation build, for RP. I tried it on Malenia in ng +. It was fun. I didn't want to beat her, just to see how it works...
Well, it worked so well so that she's now a remembrance...

speckled hardtear also resets the chaos status, which means you can chain cast the spell until the last moment, then pop cerulean +speckled tears to quickly resume the mayhem

Saw that the damage was nerfed in pvp in the new patch. Did a little testing and it seems like it wasnt that much. Id say keep using it. 150-190 after patch vs 180-220 before (per hit). I personally use this against people who abuse bloodhound step and I think with the reduced fp cost it will still do the job.

I have great shame in knowing I've used this in an invasion.
I have no shame in knowing I've used this on someone who used a Crimson Flask in a duel.

Some difference of opinion, but I think flame of frenzy is more reliable and for me it does what I intend it to. I see no point giving this a spell slot, but that's for my build and playstyle, everyone else can do whatever they like.

This is undoubtedly the best Frenzy incantation in the game. Anyone who says something like Flame of Frenzy does more damage per hit, or it does more poise damage has never used this spell.
If you catch a player in it, and you will, you will stunlock them until they die, period. Even after you run out of FP you get an AOE that’s more effective than Howl of Shabriri minus the buff, de-buff. So if they’re not already dead it protects you from melee trades while finishing them off. Good luck hitting anyone with any other Frenzy incantation too. This spell is reliable as hell. Only problem is you can animation lock yourself against ranged attacks. But other than that it’s like if comet azur and stars of ruin had a baby, it’s also the closest thing you can get to

Extremely ironic how it works very well with endure ash of war

question! does the charged-up walking part of the incantation get buffed by godgrey talisman?

What some people might be sleeping on is that if paired with a Cerulean Hidden Tear in your flask of physick, you can cast this indefinitely until you're consumed by madness. You get about 10 seconds of pure madness to cast, and you can move/turn while casting. If ended before going mad, you also get the full 360 degree end of cast. Actually insane.
Downgrade from Flame of Frenzy. The continuous casting gives it some situational use but less poise damage and worse FP to damage ration makes it just a meme incantation.

After being one-shot with this spell, I kind of hate it... It looks too similar to the weaker variant so I can barely tell when someone else is using it. I guess rushing them down would stop the issue of getting hit by it altogether though?

Many people talk about PvP, but this incantation shreds in PvE as well, AI invaders can't evade from it, so they just sand there helplessly while their health diminishes

Best incantation for pvp- most effectively used either right after invading (you have limited i-frames and the hosts and phantoms love to spam at you during this time), on wakeup after knocking someone down, or when in a cramped space with little room to maneuver. These situations+this spell = Target Destroyed 95% of the time.

Some guy in pvp casted this for like 10 straight seconds and I spent those 10 seconds panic rolling to no avail as my health bar quickly melted. Thank god rob users haven’t discovered this spell yet.

Was doin duels the other day so I got summoned to fight it was a dude in full goat and white mask as well as two twin blades I let him buff and then it’s on I used bloody helice as my main so once I got him to a quarter he chugged twice so I used this to punish him. I feel both bad and good
- Anonymous
some guy invaded me the other day and just cast this. didn't even have a weapon out, he just ran up and started puking out flames and i couldn't do anything against. 10/10 would die to again
- Anonymous
with enough vigor and poise you can just walk at people menacingly while they get melted
- Anonymous
this spell is now ridiculously good in duels. most players will try to roll past you or cancel your channel before it begins, but once the flames start spitting out it constantly roll catches until they die

I love how if I use this long enough, my guy leans back, spazzes out, shoots even more up into the air when I release the button.
It might not be the most efficient way of solving problems, but it's so satisfying to just run around screaming and crying until everything around you goes away.
Oh and the spell's pretty decent too.

This+cerculean hidden tear+ironjar aromatic=walking machine of annihilation in pvp if your enemy cant run from you

I’m guessing no one is calling memehood on this one because it has a status effect? I imagine if it did not build on you, people would condemn this with Comet Azur.

I feel guilty using this, but if you pair this incantation with wondrous flask tears: convert damage into hp + no fp use, and ironjar perfume. youre basically an invincible walking napalm for a couple seconds.

I’ve found that for Unendurable Frenzy to work the longest you need an OBSCENE amount of Focus to survive the Madness build up and Mind to keep going. Focus, conveniently enough, is increased by your Mind stat. Set your Mind to at least 40 and equip the following gear.
Talisman: Dragon Communion Seal (Arcane scaling),
Shield: Shield of the Guilty (boosts Focus),
Head: Silver Tear Mask (high Focus stat, increases Arcane),
Torso: Corhyn’s Robe (VERY high focus stat),
Arms/Legs: Fire Prelate set (high Focus, easy to farm),
Talisman:Clarifying Horn Charm +1 (Focus), Mottled Necklace (Focus), both Canvas Talismans (boost incantations),
Physick: Speckled Hardtear (boosts Focus), Cerulean Hidden Tear (free FP).
This should allow you to pop the Physick and spam this spell for at least 12 seconds straight without Madness damaging you. Drink an Ironjar Aromatic first and you can poise through anything.

there is no door you have to jump into the area with your horse
- Anonymous
With the right build this is insane. All your gear has to be really high focus and you can just continuously blast out energy while moving forward. Add the FP Physick + Primal Glintstone Blade + Clarifying Horn Charm +1 and you are a fountain of death.

If you have 99 mind, the talisman that boost Focus and The Frenzied flame seal (Reduces Madness build up but doesn’t say). You can cast this for a while until you run out of FP and you wont get the madness proc on yourself. It’s good to use in PVP i would say, if someone gets into range cast this incant and just hold it down. They either panic and roll to the side or roll back. Each hit with it can poise stun them. In Open areas this is like an B tier incant but if you’re in a closed area this is an S tier Incant since it spreads every where in front if you.

This thing is amazing if you have the fp to cast endlessly. It shreds. Pvp and pve. Actually make a mage character that doesn't have to worry about fp. All these people complaining about fp clearly haven't built a proper mage. You can also pop the wondrous flask that negates fp consumption and go to town

Would anybody confirm if the body effect staggers non-boss light attacks the way Dragonbolt Blessing does, and if the damage is is increased by the Gravel Stone Seal? A simple comparison like +10 Finger Seal vs +10 Gravel Stone Seal. I'd test it myself but I haven't gotten that far into the game yet.
Edit: Meant to post this comment for Vyke's Dragonbolt. Whoops.

Mix this spell with the physick that let's you cast without using fp for a short time and you can cast until you go mad. After going mad you will be vulnerable or a short time.
Using this spell in a small space or versus multiple opponents works well with 50 fth and the frenzy seal. Just make sure you release before about halfway to going mad as it does a short final burst at the end.
Overall frenzy spells are dope pvp, but have crap tracking compared to other spells and WA. If the Black Dumpling helmet is real it would shine with this spell.
- Anonymous
Potential combo with the dumpling helm and physik that gives you no FP cost to trigger madness on yourself for the 10% bonus damage while making the spell slightly better. Could add in a focus talisman to keep it going for longer too.
- Anonymous
Looks cool but uses way too much fp for the damage it gives you, and leaves you wide open for attacks.

western side of the consecrated snowfields (secret area) in the Yelough Anix ruins

Found it, it’s in Yelough Anix Ruins. One of the building has a basement with a chest, it’s in there. This place is in the west part of mountaintops of the giant.

I can confirm it's found in Yelough Anix Ruins...
You have to use Torrent to double jump into the "house" type structure that has stairs that lead down to the chest it's in.
The location is on the backend of the ruins towards the Cliffside. Like center back.

South-east of the elevator that leads to Altus Plains from Liurnia. You will find a tower that has an eye of Sauran that stacks madness when it sees you. Push forward to the tower, kill the rats underneath and then climb the tower and kill the mad hollows at the top to get the spell. Its not very good but it looks cool.
- Anonymous
When they tell you to "cry about it!" Cry tears made of fire, and madness. Then they'll wish they had been more considerate, as they die in deluge of screams, and flame.
