Where to find Unseen Blade
Where to find Unseen Blade:
This Sorcery can be found at the top of the Tower after completing the Mirage Rise puzzle. When you reach at the location, although your map marks there is a tower, you will notice that there is nothing there! However, you will receive a map, called Mirage Riddle. You will have to interact with three Phantom crests.
- The first one is next to that initial position, hard to miss.
- The second one can be found by continuing to the west, near the rock wall. Enemies will spawn.
- The final one, is near the Bower of Bounty site of grace. Starting at the Bower of Bounty site of grace, head directly south to the edge of a cliff. Here a small enemy will spawn. Once you see this enemy, head east along the cliffside. On the left side you will see a strange looking stone which you have to hit in order to reveal the phantom crest. The stone lies before the bridge and will likely have messages surrounding it..
Once you found all three, head to where the tower was supposed to be, to actually find it this time. Climb all the way to the top to find this sorcery, along with Unseen Form and x5 Slumbering Egg.

If you ever feel useless, just remember that this spell exists.

a lotta people say this is good on polearms, and I kind of agree, but it's real power is in whips. polearms, once they get used to the tells, are relatively easy to avoid, even while invisible, since all their directional attacks (overhead, sweeping, thrusts, etc) have distinctive windups. whips, however, don't have that. the windup for a sweeping attack or a forward reaching attack look pretty similar, and can really throw someone off. especially with urumi, since that thing has probably the most confusing heavy attack in the game, even when it's fully visible

I see no reason why this shouldn’t work on every single weapon/spell casting tool. It’s not like you’re buffing their damage, it’s just a utility tool

I wish that if you had the Staff Of Loss equipped that it would give a slight increase in damage with attacks.

I wish, at the very least, this could be applied to magic affinity weapons. Then I wouldn't have to use this with standard affinity Carian Grandeur.
Why is a buff that is purely cosmetic only 40 seconds? Something like this should last until the weapon is put away or something.

i was trying this spell out but there was a weird bug my weapon disapeared. pls fix from software

If they’re going to treat it like other weapon buffs, it would be nice if they gave it magic damage or extra critical damage

Using on a claw/fist weapon so we can be the Company of Champions for a short time.

The best usage for this i've found in pvp is weapons that get held down at your side, like one handed spear, halberd, whip, straight sword, etc. Ideally the longer reach the weapon the better, as it makes it much harder to space it.

There should be a talisman version in the DLC, even if its only for fist weapons!

While not “meta,” it’s downright hilarious to use this on some of the regular whip weapons. Especially the Urumi, nobody expects that charged R2 while they think they’re safe from a distance.

the fact that this doesnt work on infused/special weapons is so stupid and removes 90% of its usefulness. Seems like a bit of lazy programming where they just treated it as if it was a normal weapon dmg buff.
Shame because turning Mohg's spear invisible so you could catch people out with its weapon art, for example, would make this spell pretty cool.

do enemies dodge your attacks when its invisible? similar to like the night shard/comet

Can someone tell me if this works on shields in the right hand?

if there was a talisman version of this like the host trick mirror that just hid your weapon forever, i'd buy 12

Idk if you've read Baki but this is great for imaginary swords.

Has anyone tried using this on whips? The Hoslow ones or the Nox one. Wouldn’t that be fun in pvp.
People keep saying Darkness is the worst spell, then this exists.

>The first one is next to that initial position, hard to miss
I guess someone forgot how little visibility there is in this area.

I feel like this should also increase a weapon's critical stat to give it at least one actual use in PvE.

Ehhh just bring back the challenge rings from DS2, now that would be hilarious.

Was really hoping this would get a duration buff when moving from DS3 to ER. The other armament buffs all got 30 second increases to be 90 seconds, yet this stayed at 45 seconds, even when it does jack sh*t. It is a super fun meme spell, so I don't know why it needs to have a shorter timer.

Yeah they really need to just let you use this on anything. I cannot for the life of me understand why they put limitations on such a niche spell. Was gonna do like a hidden frost type of thing but it turns out thats just not possible. Smfh

This cannot be used on unique weapons that would makes sense to hide in PvP. What a stupid design.
- Anonymous
Idiotic how this cannot be applied to weapons that are unable to be augmented. Really limits the possible uses, if you are to use this in pvp it is only useful with heavy to quality infused weapons and only if that weapon has good range.
I'd say the best use is on the Greatsword or a whip.
Cannot be applied to bows as they cannot be augmented.

doesn't seem to work with armaments that have a secondary damage such as magic

I have it equipped and I meet the stat check but it won't work?
I can't seem to activate this, or any other right-hand armament augmentation spells. staff in left hand sword in right, spell still greyed out.

Anyone know if it can be used alongside other weapon buffs eg scholars armament,
And/or if it also applies to weapon art visual effects?

Many games later, this seemingly useless spell still makes it into elden ring.
This spell is overpowered when Deez has it but it’s subpar otherwise.
