AnonymousOut of Fromsofts catalogue, I think this is the most fitting armor for the player character. You are tarnished and this armor itself is tarnished and battered beyond belief. It looks as if your character has been wandering forever and every part of this armor is salvaged or modified for the journey they've been on. Such a good looking set.

Ok. I figured out how fromsoft decided on placing for starting weapons and starting sets. All starting weapons are near the beginning, and the starting armors are later in the game. It is the same for all of them.

All I ask for a nice, simple plate armor set with good coloring. Why is this bronze?

The "Empty Armor Slot" icons on the equipment screen depict this armor in its original condition. The helmet looks pretty cool when it's closed up.

It's very unfortunate that this armor is 46 poise and not 51, as PVE attacks in this game either deal 0,50 or 100 poise damage. The standard knight set for only 1.5 more units of weight provides 51 poise so the developers clearly understand the significance of it, so why they decided to make the vagabond set, the starting set for the class new players are most likely to pick to be lacking in this way manner is quite puzzling.

I usually replace the normal helm for the Greathelm, just based on how good the defenses are. I’ve yet to find any legs that fit amazingly well with the rest of the set, but I’m thinking maybe to Mausoleum Leggings might fit ok.

I love how dented and battered this armor is. This is honestly what condition your armor probably would be in after all the sh*t your character has been through. But you're still here, and all your challengers are not.

I really wish the metal gauntlet was on your right hand and not your left. Your sword arm needs more protection than your shield arm does.

If you collect all starting classes gears, start as a Vagabond. Cause THIS starting armor is in late game

I'm a fan of how different the armor becomes when you alter it, it replaces the cape for a knapsack, a belt pouch, and some extra knives

Started out as a Vagabond and was super keen to find some new armor ASAP. Now I'm 100 hours in and still wearing this because I'm having a blast role-playing as a banished knight wandering the Lands Between. Very cool set!

Vagabond chest + scared helmet/gloves/legs = 61 poise with bullgoat talisman and amazing defense/weight ratio. Perfect if you like the vagabond fashionsouls and want to pvp!

Wish I could get a cleaner, non-rusty version of this set. Some might point to the knight set but it’s fairly different and doesn’t come with the cool cloak.

Thought this armor was **** until I found out how to take the cape off… now it’s a personal favorite of mine. Perfect for an old hedge knight cosplay. Still don’t like the helmet though.
