Use to summon the spirits of three vulgar militiamen.
Spirits of the vulgar militia who wield long-hafted, serrated hatchets. These brutal weapons are particularly effective at causing blood loss to opponents.
In the Lands Between, the small were scorned, and so they formed their vulgar militia as a means to make a living, albeit in ignominy.
Where to find Vulgar Militia Ashes in Elden Ring
The Vulgar Militia Ashes can be found in the following location:
- Auriza Hero's Grave: In the large Chariot Hall where two Chariots are running almost side by side with a short delay between them, head all the way down to the large pit behind some pillars. Looking down, you can find several wooden beams you can drop down onto. Navigate your way across the beams, heading north to find a hidden area on the right with a statue. Head into the corridor behind the statue and to the right to access a small room where a corpse holding the ashes can be found. [Elden Ring Map Link]

These are one of the 2 ashes that are a direct upgrade of the Wolves, if given a decent tank to play off of they can continuously apply bleed while you abuse the guard counter system, do not under any circumstances expect them to take aggro they don't have the health pool to survive more than a couple hits.

These goblins on my bleed build are quite handy, their AI is a bit weird though, their pathfinding is bad and they sometimes just stand around and look at the floor.
Still a great bleed summon, and relatively cheap if you cant afford the more expensive options.

Kind of wish that when you upgrade them enough, they gain some of the stuff the other versions of the Militiamen get like the Beastial Incantations. Maybe not the Destined Death effect because it's already super strong on Tiche so imagine it on three tiny little gremlins.

Clapped Malenia with these brave, beautiful little bois. With my chad strength build staggering her, and 3 Bloodborne-obsessed oompa-loompas going all out, the Goddess of Rot did not last long

If you are running a bleed build, these guys can be incredible support. These guys cost 70fp compared to Omenkiller Rollo who is probably the best bleed summon at 113 fp. At +10 I would hardly consider these as glass cannons, though bosses with many AOE moves can definitely kill them quite quickly. They do not have the powerful claw spell you see them use later in the game, but with 3 bleed weapons, they can actually output more damage onto some bosses than most of the elite single summons. To recap, these short kings can be great for any build with at least 70fp, but they are amazing if you have your own bleed to throw into the mix, only rivaled by the more expensive Omenkiller Rollo.

Worth noting, these spirits do NOT use the beast claw incantation. Still, they work great at confusing enemies and inflicting bleed; would reccomend.

They apply bleed and do great stagger. They work best with an aggressive playstyle to rush down bosses!
do they giggle when they kill stuff like they do in the secret haligtree dungeon when they inflict more damage on you than a final boss ?
