Western Nameless Mausoleum Walkthrough
The Western Nameless Mausoleum is a location that can be found northwest of the Gravesite Plain [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]. The mausoleum is an arena where you'll encounter a mini-boss upon entering the undercroft. The boss you'll fight here is the Blackgaol Knight, and defeating it rewards the player with the Solitude Set. The set comes with the following pieces:
- Helm of Solitude
- Armor of Solitude
- Gauntlets of Solitude
- Greaves of Solitude
- including the Greatsword of Solitude
By the entrance of the Western Nameless Mausoleum, there is a Stake of Marika and a Summoning Pool. The summoning pool can be used to summon other players that can help you and the Stake of Marika allows the player to respawn by the entrance in case you die while fighting the Blackgaol Knight. Outside the mausoleum, you can find some gatherable items and encounter a few enemies such as Gravebirds.

I was prepared for him to input read my healing. I was not prepared for him to input read my EVERY! ****ING! MOVE!!! ( yes, I know they don’t actually input read, but when they can react to the first frame of an animation, they might as well be)

ive beaten malenia, elden beast and what not... first random boss who hasnt even got a proper name makes all my weapons, build, armor, incs and spells obsolete...

"Giant Hunt" ash of war makes a quick work of the Blackgaol Knight.

As a cleric/ incantation user. this boss sucks. Incantations take forever to use.

Godslayer great sword . Weapon art 3 hits he’ll be on his back. Heal and repeat. Flame grant me strength and golden vow help a lot. Lots of high hp enemies dies easily if they aren’t flame resistant.

180 here, also down with two hits..
Thankfully I found I way to kill him without any skill: Wolfs Assault - take damage while executing - heal while he is down after landing attack - repeat 5 times.

NG+ 50 vigor, 60 endurance, the heaviest armor in the base game, still got killed in two hits. I think I had about 3 scadu levels too.
Anyway this guy reminded me of Guts. Heavy armor+big sword+shoots bolts=Guts
Sure the sword isn't the biggest but it's good enough.

My 200 plus levelled confident ass went on to face this guy only to get 2 shotted by him.

Me being level 200 plus and with a +10 Ordovis' Greatsword, I pretty confidently went to face him only to die in 2 hits.
