Enhances dodge rolls for a time in mixed physick

Windy Crystal Tear is a Crystal Tear in Elden Ring. Crystal Tears can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick to enhance its effect.

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
The resulting concoction increases the effectiveness of dodgerolls for a certain duration. However, damage taken is also increased during the concoction's effect.

i would love this more than i already do if it gave you backstep i-frames like in ds2, doesn't even have to be that much i'd have been fine with like 2 frames of it

I get why the Crucible Feather Talisman has the defense debuff since it lasts until you take it off, but having it on the Crystal Tear just feels... off. Maybe give it a shorter duration instead of a stat penalty?

God tier perk to have in pvp, especially in twinking early game.

10% defense loss is meaningless if youre getting hit 50% less often.

ThiS flask let's me toy with other players, and messes up their muscle memory on roll catching.

I prefer combining this with a ranged melee weapon like whips, allows for a very strong control build making it easier to dodge 3v1

"Doesn't stack with crucible feather talisman." Why? Was From soft worried about Dodge rolls having too many Iframes, in a game where Bloodhound Step exists?

            • Anonymous

Does not stack with the dodge ring, sacrificing damage boost or survivability, and increases damage taken? Bruh moment

Omg why does this increase damage taken
I'm so disappointed, it makes sense for a ring to have that penalty as it's permanent, but here it's just stupid

                Also give us ninjaflips back

                • The negative aspects of all the items need to be removed, Increasing damage taken is stupid. plus we need to be able to equip at least 10 talismans, hackers are already doing it, by increasing the number of talisman pouches.

While probably broken and unfit for PvP like the Carthus Bloodring, it is overshadowed by Bloodhound Step.

I suppose you could use the Opaline Hardtear with this to reduce the 15% to 0%, but in pvp it'll only reduce it to 5% increased damage taken with the combo. The tradeoff is that you won't get to use the almighty Opaline Bubbletear, or damage booster such as increased Intelligence. I'd say this is only worth using if you have the Opaline Hardtear to reduce that damage, as percentages make a big difference (even 15% and 5%)

They need to remove all negative effects from Items, really irritating. Most players will never use at all to to the negatives.
Blizzard eventually removed that crap from WoW itemization, From needs to get with the program.

The only tear that provides a debuff and the only tear that doesn't stack with the talisman that provides a similar effect. Super anomalous and disappointing.

Carried my shitty ass through Morgott RL1 challenge; the difference in i-frames was so large, it felt like cheating.

This helps if you are going for a Blue Dancer Charm build. I've got a character that has 80 faith and every possible damage boost talisman and i die to one hit anyways so extra dodge is always nice.

The windy crystal tear increases damage by 15%. The crucible feather talisman increases damage by 30%. They both add 6 iframes to rolls only.

                                • If you rely on dodging and know that whatever enemy you face will kill you in x amount of kills regardless of that 10% defence penalty, then this tear can be useful. I certainly appreciated it when I fought against Black Blade Kindred outside of Bestial Sanctum. Most of his attacks killed me in 2-3 hits anyway, but a little help in dodging was very welcomed.

                                  • this gives the same amount of iframes as the Crucible Feather Talisman. +6 iframes to med/light, and +5 to fat roll/heavy. DOES NOT STACK WITH CRUCIBLE FEATHER TALISMAN

"Increased dodge roll effectiveness" = increased i-frames.

                                      You also take more damage.

                                      This lasts for 3 mins

                                      • Anonymous

It doesn't mention this, but it reduces your physical defenses. 10% flat I think? You can see it in your status screen when you consume it.

                                        • Anonymous

Blurb when equipped in your Mixed Physick is "Temporarily increases rolling efficiency"—guessing this means it reduces the stamina cost of rolling, rather than increasing iframes.
