- Mistwood, Limgrave.
- Weeping Peninsula.
- Liurnia of the Lakes.
- Moonlight Altar.
- Altus Plateau.
- Mt Gelmir.
- Capital Outskirts.
- Dragonbarrow, outside the entrance to Dragonbarrow Cave.
- Consecrated Snowfield. Two are near the Lesser Runebear just northwest of the Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace.

I've seen regular bears in Northeastern Liurnia, the Weeping Peninsula, and the consecrated snowfield.

Lol this thing is even weaker than small Rat not even talking about big Rat, have less hp, bigger hitbox, less aggressive, attack doesn't stagger, walk alone, attack don't track, deal no dmg, attack 5 time slower. Honestly this thing need buff, i know rune bear exist but they did normal bear dirty. They weaker than even dog and wolf. Even worse bear doesn't even have number like wolf and rat yet they somehow weaker individually.
