Lionel the Lionhearted is an NPC in Elden Ring. Lionel the Lionhearted acts as the Father of Fia and can be encountered as an NPC Invader as one of Fia's Champions. He is also available as an NPC Summon and can be seen wielding a Great Epee, as well as the Prince of Death’s Staff, casting Rancorcall and Fia’s Mist.
When this chivalrous dauntless knight met Fia, who had been driven from her home, he declared himself to be her father.

Lionel the Lionhearted can be found at Wailing Dunes as an NPC Summon against Starscourge Radahn or as an NPC Invader representing one of Fia's Champions in Deeproot Depths

So far, Lionel does not appear as an NPC prior to being an NPC Summon or an NPC Invader. His Armor, Lionel's Set, can still be obtained in Leyndell. Found on the bed in the building with the Lower Capital Church grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital. See it on the Elden Ring Map here.

Two of the biggest (but inconsequential) bummers about Elden Ring is that both Lionel and the Bloody Wolf lacked NPC questlines. They both just appear and disappear despite being two of the raddest and most anticipated characters seen in the promo material. Oh well.
