Mausoleum Knight Armor is a Chest Armor in Elden Ring. Mausoleum Knight Armor is part of the Mausoleum Knight Set Armor Set. Mausoleum Knight Armor is an armor piece worn over or around the player's torso to obtain an increase of defense and resistance. It also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders, but may be slightly different for male and female characters.
Armor worn by headless knights who endlessly guard the Wandering Mausoleum.
The wing-shaped ornaments on its back evoke the Deathbird. A self-inflicted curse that ties the spirits of these loyal knights to the land, having willingly beheaded themselves so that they may serve their masters in death.
Where to find Mausoleum Knight Armor in Elden Ring
Mausoleum Knight Set Pieces are randomly dropped by the Mausoleum Knights. Locations are:
- Typically found in Liurnia of the Lakes. The easiest one to farm is directly outside the Black Knife Catacombs entrance, which can be reset quickly with the site of grace.
- Near the Walking Mausoleum in Weeping Peninsula.

So after spending ~20 minutes farming this thing I gave up and looked up how rare of a drop this is. Turns out its quite a lot. I dont wanna spend 2 hours backstabing a random NPC so I downloaded a trainer, disconnected from internet and backed up my save files. Then i booted up the game, gave myself 100% drop rate and got it in 5 seconds. After removing the anti-cheat blocking file i booted up into online just fine.
I recommend you do this as well for all farming, if you want to keep your sanity

If you wear this with the Banished knight helmet it removes the Mane. I’ve been testing how to rid of the mane and it also works with the Gladiator cloak and Lionel’s armour

Fashion? Well most obviously the shotel eclipse. Royal remains helm would be tasteful with this armor. Radahn foot soldier helm or altered eccentric helm are great. If you’re going str and playing up the obvious death themes, rosus axe and celebrant skull hammer are good. Night rider flail too.

80 Kills in, get the armor, equip it, whole game crashes and they take the armor away from me (crashed so i didnt “exit properly”)
The Fix: If this armor causes your game to crash, verify your files. After I did this I farmed the armor again (only 7 kills the second time around) and it works perfectly.

Anybody else's game crash when they put on the knight armor? I can equip the greaves, gauntlets, eclipse shield and knight greatsword. But when I put on the knight armor, my game keeps crashing

164 runs to get a single piece of body armor at black knife catacombs. 16 arms, 7 legs, 12 swords, 5 shields using 190 item discovery. This is indefinitely the rarest piece, and by quite the gap.

The easiest way to farm is right outside the Black Knife Catacombs. Took me about 20 minutes. Killed him about 20-25 times. He dropped 4 Eclipse Shields, a pair of gauntlets, and the armor.

Placing a Mausoleum Knight in an easily farmable location (outside of Black Knife Catacombs) is some of the best level design since DS1. Very happy to have gotten the chest piece now, alongside all their other drops (with some duplicates). Not sure of the tabard color, but from the back the cloak and wings look absolutely ace.
