God I hope we get more Int/Arc stuff in the DLC. I'm pretty sure its the most barren of any two-stat build type. Even Int/Fth has 3 different spell schools they let you play with, even if they're all arguably on the weaker side.

Making theese incantations would be better because there actually is Fai/Arc builds thay exist. And doing the bubbles with your hand like the cleyman do would be much cooler

Who up playing with their Arc/Int build (up to ~ Leyndell) in the misguided hope that we'll finally be a real build in SotE? I actually really like the aesthetic of the normal blue magic + the Regalia's red magic. The Eochaid stuff would make a good basis for another school of spells.

Only when reading the comments on here do I realize that yeah, this is water. These have been the only water abilities in a Souls game since Demon's Souls's Water Veil. Really, I think it's an untapped side of magic they've never really explored before, especially odd since water's roll at protecting / conducting fire and electricity. And water is hidden within the lore of Elden Ring, what with the Blind Swordsman's abilities relating to that of flowing water and helping Malenia become the utter beast she is. Maybe our very own Blind Swordsman partook in an old, ancient form of Claymen sorcery? Something we might discover more of in the Shadows of The Erdtree.

It seems like most of the various breeds of Sorceries originate from a celestial body (usually a star) of some sort. That being said, I have to wonder where the Claymen Sorceries come from...

Okay I'll take a stab at it: the sorceries were intended for stealthy mages/assassin builds in PVP. Cast a looming bubble in conjunction with Large Glintstone Scraps/ Aberrant Sorceries/ Night Sorceries.

I kinda wish these were incantations so they could be cast the same way the claymen do. But it's still kinda nice to have more sorcery variety.
