Holy Water Grease is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Holy Water Grease coats an armament, adding magic damage to its attacks and preventing undead from reviving.
Grease which holds the blessing of the Erdtree. Craftable item.
Consumes FP when coated on weapon, allowing it to deal magical damage and purify those who have lived beyond death.
There is no place in the Golden Order for those who have exceeded life's bounds. These blemishes must be hunted down by the Virtuous.

Another player that's irritated by Holy grease being basically useless. I went to fight some TWLID and was surprised to see I had to strike them down again. Ironic because when I buff my blade using WA, the Holy aura kills them the first time.

boy this sure would have been great to have in place of the existing holy grease.
why would anyone bother using holy grease?? If you're using grease, you likely don't have stats allocated for weapon buffing, and the holy damage is situational FOR undead.
For anyone looking for "the most convenient" way to deal with reraising undead, keep a random weapon (go for light weight ideally) in your inventory with the Shared Order ash of war. Shared Order give you and nearby allies a CHARACTER buff that adds flat holy dmg to attacks and permakills undead. Same thing as this, trading crafting/consuming for FP cost.
