Large Glintstone Scrap is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
Large piece of glintstone tinged with unstable magic. Found in crystal tunnels.
Break gem, using FP to produce a magic bolt.
Poor quality and thereby easily broken, a sorcerer wouldn't give it a second look.
Where to find Large Glintstone Scrap in Elden Ring
- Accessed from Limgrave Tunnels. Underground. It can be found on a body, inside a little hut guarded by Rotten Strays. [Map Link]
- Two can be looted off a corpse behind the small shack in Morne Tunnel. [Map Link]
- Can be looted off Glintstone Miner enemies in Altus Tunnel.
- Sealed Chamber: A set of 3 can be found in the chamber with the exploding Abnormal Stone Clusters, check the northeast for a corpse behind a wheelbarrow. [Map Link]

Pros: uses 0 spell slots, has the range of Loretta’s mastery, quick cast time, spams for long enough to fully charge a cannon of Haima, high projectile speed, good dps for its mana cost, & does poise damage.
Cons: only 10 casts, takes forever to farm, ???

If you feel really lazy to fight the limgrave tunnel boss, just spam this (which you found on limgrave tunnel anyway) and he will drop to the ground in no time

This is an amazing PVP option if you're willing to farm for it. This scrap allows you to be stupid aggressive while your enemy is juking out the bolts... be wary of Carian Retaliation though.

FP cost reduced from 21 to 10. Scaling unchanged, don't know about damage. MUCH more usable now.
Definitely worth farming these in the Raya Crystal Tunnels... Selia Crystal Tunnels is just bullshit to get through because of the Prawn Watchers

I think you can buy these after giving the old codger a bell bearing. I don't remember which. The small glintstone scraps are gotten from the bell bearing in the crystal tunnel in reya lucaria.

Large Glintstone Scraps, along with the regular Glintstone Scraps have a chance of dropping off the miners and mages in the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel from my experience.

This item is broken in PvP
Impossible to dodge them all, amazing for setups
You can script Maliketh's first phase with these things. Get the stance-breaking physick tear. When you enter the boss room glintblade phalanx (for insurance), chug physick, pop 1 or 2 of these bad boys, and he'll charge at you. It can outright break his stance on its own. If your DPS is good enough, you can basically skip phase 1.
These are also incredibly effective against flying dragons like Greyll, Smarag, Adula, Borealis, and Agheel because they hit the head. With the stance-breaking physick, you can target the head from a distance, pop 2 of these, 2 small scraps, and with glintblade phalanx, it's an instant stance break at the start to melt them down.
