Not a lot here but you get a few ashes of war and weapons so idk as long as you're not like going full caster but wanna do messmer stuff it's fine. Tbf I do have a bias cuz if I try to include spells on a build with a good weapon i just choose the weapon 90% of the time

I definitely feel like there should be more of these, especially with Rain of FIre being so ass. But Messmer's Orb looks so fkn cool that it's good enough for me

People saying fire serpent sucks REALLY need to try PVP. Spammers of this spell are like the bane of Magic Pew Pew Casters at the moment. This thing's tracking is near impossible to get a hang of innitially when first encountering it, and its FANTASTIC low cost allows you to take care of so many troublesome enemies in legacy dungeons. Only complaint is that its range is sub par compared to other new incantations.
And here I was hoping we'd get a regular fire weapon buff finally, but nope. The giants failed me, and now so has Messmer. Bloodflame Blade it is then.

Huge build-up to getting to wield Messmer’s unique fire with the DLC AND all we get are a measly three incantations with one being okay (Orb), one being middle of the road (Snake) and the last being next to worthless (Rain)

Fire Knight Armor and Messmer's Helm also boost these incantations.

I haven't tested it, but the Fire Knight Armor says in its description that it boosts Messmer incantations, so you might want to add that to this page.

Where can I get the fire ball? I’ve seen people using it in pvp
question; what's the difference between messmer fire and regular fire? like, does it have a special effect ingrained into it, like bloodflame?
