Curseblade's Cirque is a Backhand Blade in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Backhand Blade in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Curseblade's Cirque scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for builds that like rapid attacks and paired weapons with native Bleed build up.

Weapon of the masked Curseblades. Circular backhand blade with wave-like cutting edges, sharpened into points that incite blood loss. Long ago, this was employed by the ascetics who strove to become tutelary deities as a ritualistic object in their self-flagellating dances.

Where to Find Curseblade's Cirque in Elden Ring

The Curseblade's Cirque weapon can be found at the following location:

  • Drops from Curseblade enemies who wield it (one is located on top of an arch 10 seconds from the very first site of grace, and another is located right next to the Stage Front Site of Grace in Belurat, Tower Settlement, which is quite easy to farm).

Beat this guy as soon as I got into the DLC and he dropped his whole set, weapon included. Since it was my first enemy thought that he auto dropped his whole loadout when you killed him, told my brother this… turns out I just had good luck

the Cirque the only item from these guys with a purple item pillar. you'll know when it drops, don't give up!

Discovery at 274 and it took me 34 deliberate kills farming after not getting one to drop through the DLC. I found I could back stab and kill the one along the path after the Viaduct Minor Tower grace before it could fight back. GL out there farming

Pretty unsatisfying weapon to use, clinks off of everything ( even more infuriating due to its low reach ) and has zero hyper armour on its weapon art making it hard to ever connect unless youre wearing bullgoats. Looks cool tho

While farming, I’ve found that it helps to wear the mimic tear helm, silver scarab and to mute the mic on your controller so that the miyazaki can’t hear you screaming at the screen because of the abysmal drop rates.

362 rada fruit, 7 helmets, 7 loincloth, 6 wrist guards, 0 ankle guards, 0 cirque. I'm starting to doubt that the one in gravesite plain drops it.

I spent 2 hours trying to grind out this for my int/dex character because they looked heccin sick and I wanted to go with something different then ice claws.

reading is overpowered, besties you can't put cold on these.

Amazing weapon for DEX builds. VERY high damage on these- Short range but every attack has big forward momentum and the running r1 feels amazing to use.
Weapon art gives no hyperarmor but is also really good. The 2nd input axe kick does no bleed, hits hard, and seems to deal a ton of poise damage. The entire weapon art gets boosted by +10% total by the Dancer set.

Really worth farming, didn't take long from the Stagefront grace. Give these a try, you'll have fun.

Got one after consuming my literal last luck boosting thing from the DLC ider the name that's how much brainrot I got

Can't be buffed or infused, strangely enough. I thought it was a bug, but the weapon is incompatible with buff-style Ashes of War like Flame Slash and Sacred Blade, making it seem like a deliberate decision. Hopefully they change that, I don't see why these shouldn't be buffed.

Man I must have gotten super lucky. I got one to drop after killing the enemy the jumps down on you after first entering the DLC. I figured it was a guaranteed drop and thought "wow they are introducing the new weapons fast!" lmao

Curseblade cosplay, 70 dex + 10 from prostesis and mask, + winged talisman, blue dancer charm My god, with the ash landing fully i knocked 1.4k hp off of a guy, so good, I just focused on making other builds XD

Miyazaki really was like “I saw your complaints about the low drop rates for items, so I decided to make them worse”

Don't use it for the Rellana fight, the weapon is bugged and keeps hitting the ground, particularly in the water. hope it gets patched

I've even staggered hitting certain enemies like the stone imps in the forsaken depths. I also just staggered trying to hit Godfrey while he was charging up his double ground pound. As if I was hitting a wall lol.

If you follow up the L2 with immediate r1 attacks you can avoid that half second pause after the animation. But not if you follow up with the second L2 for the axe kick. It's better to use it just once and continue the combo with r1 attacks.

I wish they didn't eat up so much stamina though. Seems to be a bit much for a lightweight weapon.

If you use this weapon within 5 feet of a wall or object, you will break a nail. Otherwise I'm enjoying it.

Crouch attack, running heavy and both jump attacks are very spamable I think this is an underrated gem for Dex builds

                                        • Anonymous

Huh, didn't even realize this was a rare drop. Thought it was scripted since I got it off the first enemy I killed in the DLC. Feels interesting. A little awkward, but I'm intrigued enough to try to get better with it.

                                          • Anonymous

Has 2 move sets, with various purposes. (1-hand I find better for PvP, while 2-hand I prefer for PvE)

2-hand has a decent stagger on it's neutral Heavy-Attack, that can also true combo out of the weapon art.
Most shield guys will drop guard in about 2-4 hits of stagger.
This mode also has a really fast jump attack, for interrupting spell casting.

                                            1-hand has a wicked roll catch on it's Light-Attack.

It's spam-y enough, in PvP (with proper poise) you can trade through the first hit of greatswords / ugs and use the movement on the follow up hits to escape out of range.
In PvP, this is shut down very easily with a shield.

I think these are bugged. they're really cool weapons but they are stuck at their native 45 bleed even a high arc build.

Can anybody confirm that they drop from the enemy near the Stagefrony site of grace? I’ve killed 40 of the damn things and I’ve looted two of the full armor sets, but not the weapon

I thought these were a guaranteed drop from the guy after you first spawn in the land of shadow. Me and my friend were on vc and we both got them on the first kill. Seems like a fun weapon, I'll find a setup for it later

                                                    • Anonymous

these are like dual wield curved swords with a skill that's like waterfowl but a bit weaker. Similar level of hyperarmour too
