Item for online play.
(Can also be used from the Multiplayer menu.)
Send a cooperative summon sign to several nearby summoning pools (activated pools only).
In cooperative multiplayer, your objective will be to defeat the area boss of the world to which you were summoned.

Does this item summons me who is in NG+ to players in the first run?

Nioh and Monster Hunter Hunter World are a trillion times better than any From Sh*tware game in the combat and multiplayer departments lol everything in From games is subpar and lame besides the art style

I unironically avoid picking this item up as part of an ADHD-suppressing strategy during challenge runs

a lot of place we can’t used it like almost all lyndell is just so bad for people who want to be summoned while doing the area like me, we must be able to use it anywhere, except in the boss rooms of course

Beastman in farum azula dropped this as I had never picked it up.
I just realized today that the round summon sign I saw about the launch of the game is due to the bug in the algorithm they used to place summon signs around effigies, and this got patched somehow so I never see that again.

You know this near and far function would be infinitely better of the summoning pools didn't deactivate with each ng+ cycle lol nobody wabts to run through the entire game just to reactivate these things it's tedious AF come on FS how can you hit the nail on the head and miss so badly at the same time.

I might be crazy but I swear they've added level ranges to this thing. Illusory wall we need you!

Honestly I think bloodborne had a really great system for all this
Host rings a bell and anyone nearby ringing a different bell will be summoned to their world. That's it

basically : activate summoning pools individually. Use effigy to be summoned to either anywhere in the whole map or just the zone you're in. Activate your furlcalling finger cheese dip to reveal the summon signs at each pool so you can summon a friend or an enemy (Red effigy is for enemies)

I'm trying to do co-op for Rune Arcs, but I have SO many questions about how these work. First of all, do you need to activate all Martyr Effigies in an area (e.g Limgrave) for these to actually function? In Limgrave, as far as I know, I currently only have Margit's and Godrick's Martyr Effigies activated, does that mean I won't get summoned? Whenever I use it, it periodically shows the message "Sending co-op sign to summoning pool", but does it actually ever send the sign? Does teleporting to a different Site of Grace deactivate the Small Golden Effigy? I've basically just been standing around in Limgrave waiting for someone to summon me, but nothing so far. I'm Level 127 if that means anything, since I'm guessing you'll normally only get paired with people around the same level as you. I've always disliked any form of multiplayer in videogames, but Elden Ring's confusing co-op system is making me dislike it even more. Rune Arcs are difficult to find while exploring and I don't know any way to farm them, so co-op is my only real option (I hate PvP and I suck at it, so that's not really an alternative either). Can someone please clarify all this stuff for me? Am I just dumb?

Elden Ring coop multiplayer is too damn complex. I wonde why they did it this way. You have to use an item to see other players signs. They should patch it and retur to what was like in Dark Souls.

Ok since people don't seem to get this, when using this item itll put your summon sign at the bottom of the martyr effigy things that you touch that are usually always around a boss or at the beginning of a dungeon. Itll only work for basically as far as the map for that area unlocked, or if there's a main boss not just in the free world in a bigger area like stormveil castle for example and itll also only put your sign down at the effigies if you touch them, you can summon people at them without touching it. It works just like the normal sign finger but it works better because instead of just having one sign itll put around 10 down if you touched them all in that area. The finger is for putting your sing down in a high traffic area usually before a boss so you know you'll only be helping people in that specific area, while this is for helping anyone in that whole area in general.

Extremely useless information if you attack as soon as you use this item itll kind of wind up with the gold wave from this item. Does literally nothing but gives it a bit more particle effects

These are being misused for PvP and its so damn annoying, especially the one before the Tree Sentinel in Limgrave. I want to help people with bosses, not be their little gank squad.

Been playing since day one, and I'm just learning about these. basically, it's like an mmo dungeon que for each zone. I wonder if it ignores levels and lowers you down, since at lvl 46 with a plus 5 unique, I got summoned into coastal cave in limgrave.

so i set it down, and from that point on i can be summoned from the spot i put it down? ....for all eternity? or one-time use? can i disable it temporarily? can i disable it for good? why the **** is none of this explained anywhere

How do I remove certain fights from the pool, like tree sentinel or the dragon. Hosts die 24/7 and it's annoying.
So how do you summon someone with small golden effigy activated? You just activate Furlcalling Finger Remedy and it automatically summons people from the pool in addition to seeing the summon signs?

What's the range on this? How many multiplayer bubbles does this work with

its so bad that you have to activate every, single, pool for this to even work. like are they for real? couldnt they have just made it so that if one is near a pool it automatically wouldve activated it??? like how hard is it? old game engine issues for real

I use to get summoned immediately, as soon as I used the effigy in any location. Now only way I can get summoned is by using it in Caelid and getting summoned to the thousands of people stuck on Radahn.

I’ve used the small effigy, but it has taken me somewhere I’ve NEVER been before. So I don’t think it’s restricted to a single area. So honestly I’m a bit confused. Is the furling finger for one location whereas the effigy is used for multiple?

so hypothetically if I hit only boss pools and ignore the rest

im wondering if levels matter at all for this, im 92 and it seems it takes forever to get summoned with lots of pools unlocked

So... I'm like past half way through the game, but NEVER interacted with one of these totems. Always ran past them.... Do I need to walk around activating them in order to send my sign to the pools??
- Anonymous
Seems that this item only works on the summoning pools of the area that you're currently in.
e.g. When I'm in Limgrave (south/west/north, that doesn't matter), I'm being summoned to Limgrave locations only.
e.g. When I'm in Liurnia of the Lakes, I'm being summoned to Liurnia locations only.

Is it known wether the sign is sent to all summoning pools, the last one the player visited, or simply the nearest one?
