I got this weapon.

Sadly, I needed to sacrifice:

- My mouse
- My table
- My mental health
- My inner peace
- My friends who died to the enemy (cause I scolded at them for dying)
- My parents patience
- My neighbors patience
- My dog's love (cause he is always scared when I speak cause I scolded too much)
- My setup that was on my table
- My girlfriend
- My life outside of my home

At least, it's good at PvP for roll catching with the weapon skill!!!!!!!

With Shard of alexander and Raging divine beast talismans, along with 80 str, 40 dex, and 72 fai, I am destroying everything with minimal effort on ng +3. This is fantastic for getting enemies around corners, such as imps in catacombs, and in my opinion is fantastic against invaders, due to the high amount of stagger an range. Unless you're light rolling, you're going to get hit a lot.

Kind of disappointed with how it's balanced. Stormcaller sidegrade isn't worth the loss of 80 AR compared to heavy Freyja's Greatsword on 54str/25fth character

The skill does 57 total poise damage. That’s extremely high, only a handful of weapons in the game reach 55+. One of the best weapons for a poise break/crit build.

This really should get more damage - it really doesn't measure up to all of the other curved greatswords. It'd be nice if they gave it some additional holy damage like they previously did to the great club. Its skill is cool though.

honestly what a miss from From. it would have been so much better and unique to have the horned warrior's unique attack as the skill. cool move, bleed buildup, good all around. instead we got stormcaller 2.0. at least give us the shoulder bash as the R2 lol

People saying its so bad but its really not, the poise dmg it does is ****ing insane, even the light attacks do ridiculous poise dmg and broke the limgrave tree sentinels alone I didn't count how many but legit one tap of L2 and like 2 or 3 light attacks and its stance was broken. Then kept happening lol

It shows this weapon not having bleed but the owner was doing bleed it crazy unless he was copying you're effects this it the lighting one at first rise.

The "light" portion of the ash hitbox scales only with faith, despite this clearly meant to be a quality somber weapon, and the same goes for the other horned warrior swords.
This design is flawed on it self, not only is the AoW bugged but they somehow thought that slapping other adjecent requirements on a quality weapon was going to be best idea since neural networks. Because quality builds aren't stat hungry enough

I whimped so much to kill that ALMOST infinite poise beach before getting this sword...

At least, it's good for crowd control, roll catch, and to remember all the times I cursed, talked bad, showed my skill of how dirty I can talk, and how much punches my desk resisted.

I got one by using the teleporter near the cross after Rellanna's boss room. Kill a Horned Warrior there and it drops

I got the sword from the guaranteed drop. Also got it from the dual wield gold bird enemy near Enir-Ilim Outer Wall site of grace. Dunno if its a bug,it dropped as loot didnt go directly into inventory

Anyone looking to pick up a fun weapon for pvp, dont. This thing has mediocre AR and the skill has laughable range, horrible hyperarmor, easily readable, and if you try to trade with it you will almost definitely do less damage even when fully building for storm skill damage (lions head and talisman and shard of alexander)

The weapon art on this is very powerful, useful, and spammable, and probably boosted by dancing lion talisman + head, but the AR on the weapon itself is lacking and it is not even buffable. I have about 50 str, 40 dex, 50 faith. Bloodhound fang hits quite a lot harder(despite getting NO benefit from the 50 faith) and is buffable. Quality omen cleaver hits just a tad harder and is buffable, holy/flame art omen cleaver hits much harder. What I am saying is this weapon is basically only good for spamming its ability, which to be fair is insane.

This is a guaranteed drop. the final lion-headed beast warrior of the last area, of the whole dlc, just before Promised Consort Radahn will drop this CGS. For me, it went straight to inventory once he died. I had the notification, he himself did not drop it. He is slightly bigger, tankier, and has a different move set, very storm-oriented. You can tell he’s the one because the environment, which is a wide pearlescent marble staircase that curves upward to the left starts to plateau for this mini-boss battle.

DO NOT TRY TO FARM. Holy poop is the enemy in midra's manse hard and it doesn't even drop it. Guy is harder than some bosses. Drops later in the game.

The paired swords are farmable so this must be too just not from the ones in the starting areas. I'll check if the later enemies can drop them.

I was farming the damn warrior in the mainse mantion with 7,4k dmg fireballs for 15 min and got the armor 3 times so i came here only to realise that it is a once time drop in the later part of the dlc. Now i will fireball some players to calm down.

One of three pure physical weapons that scales with faith. The other two are it's little brother and Erdsteel Dagger.

Two-handing with 55 Str, 37 Dex, 81 Faith would give me 318 + 466 at +10, but I cannot test it for sure since I already ran out of sombers.

As for the weird stats, I just like the circlet the final boss drops.

I think I found a bug. If I'm holding the Horned Warrior's Greatsword in my right-hand and then try to two-hand the weapon, I instead start dual-wielding a second one. I DON'T HAVE A SECOND ONE. I even tried this without any other armaments on either hand, and was just holding the Horned Warrior's Greatsword. All of a sudden, a second one spawns, and I can dual wield. This doesn't happen with any other weapon. Can anyone else test this?

This is an Ash of War stick, the damage on this thing stinks at any level below 400 because of the mediocre scaling in 3 separate stats, this is like an Ultra-Quality weapon in the sense that you need 80+ investment into 3 stats (instead of 2) before it starts becoming more comparable to the competition, and in every category beyond the Ash of War this is just worse than the Bloodhound's Fang which requires less total stat invest to get maximal returns, has longer reach, does more straight up damage, has innate status infliction, and can still be buffed.

Tested with Cheat engine Item discovery modifiers and confirmed. The weapon DOES NOT drop from the normal enemies. You need to get it from the guaranteed drop.

Anyone farming this, don't bother. Unsure if it can even drop from the guys wielding it early game to mid game. There's a guaranteed drop near the end of the final area (go figure) after killing a special one (you kill 2 special ones before this one.)

Does not drop from just any enemy carrying this weapon, after defeating mesmir you'll unlock access to that place you were supposed to go after defeating lion dancer. There you'll find it near "CLEANSING CHAMBER ANTEROOM" grace

Can confirm. Guaranteed drop from Enir-Ilim enemy. Specifically a lion-headed horned warrior that is very close to the end of the game. On a bridge guarding a site of grace. So DO NOT waste your time farming it. The wiki is wrong. Playing the story normally, you will have no choice but to fight the enemy anyway.

This is NOT a random drop. It is from a horned warrior almost near the end, before (spoiler encounter) and the final boss. The horned warrior is walking on the path you need to go through, not a hidden area, so the greatsword can't be missed.

You have to break the shadow seal and head up in that area, I fought 3 of them and the final one had the guarantee drop.

Ignore the north ravine grace, that guy dual wields the two swords. The spot to farm is Temple Town Ruins grace and then run through, you can ride torrent the whole way. Been killing him 3 times per silver feet, no sword yet.

Don't waste your time farming this. I spent a long time farming the soldier in Belurat and got at least 3x of every item drop except this sword.
I saw someone say that there is another soldier later in the DLC that gives a guaranteed drop of this sword.

I've spent four~ hours grinding this weapon, and haven't gotten it from the bridge mob. Either this is a flamemonk situation and this enemy doesn't drop it despite wielding it, or its a magma-blade lever rare drop.
