PassiveBloodfiend's Sacred Spear is a Great Spear in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Great Spear in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Bloodfiend's Sacred Spear scales primarily with Strength, Dexterity and Arcane and is a good Weapon for Arcane builds.

- In the main menu go on Login
- Then it should update to "Calibrations Ver. 1.12.2" (also works without PS Plus)
- Now continue and go to the lake west of Teylew's Ruined Forge and kill the enemy holding the spear
After the above steps it dropped immediately for me.

This thing is a blue tooth mohg’s.
While Mohg’s does the blood aura around you, this does the blood aura farther away.

Fun fact, you can keep this weapon's infusion as standard while having decent arcane scaling. This means you can buff it with Bloodflame Blade and dealing massive bleed damage!
DOES drop in prospect town. But fork (the regular spear) is so much better and easier to drop. This thing is a great spear and therefore is better when two-handed (gets ha). On an arc build you are better off with Mohg's tho.

This is wrong go to the pound left of the grave not the cave there is one blood fiend in the pound that has the spear he drops it first time you kill him

I'm playing on PS5, and this has NOT dropped for me no matter how many times I kill both the bloodfiend west of Taylew's Ruined Forge, and the one at Prospect Town. I honestly believe that its drop chance is bugged somehow, and it wouldn't actually be the first time a "guaranteed" weapon drop hasn't dropped for me, since I didn't get the Black Steel Greathammer from the black knight at the Church of Consolation either.

I was very excited for this thing after hearing that it's the new Mohg's, but it's unfortunately much worse. Unlike Mohg's you can use the AoW at range which is nice, but the damage absolutely pales in comparison.
I tested on the omens below the ashen capital and all 3 inputs of Mohg's Spear AoW will end up killing the omen. Using 3 casts of this thing's AoW does less than half health to the omen.
The only improvement is the range, but the damage is SO much lower that it's not enough for this to be stand alongside Mohg's, let alone replace it

FYI this thing's ash differs from Bloodboon Ritual in that it is localized around the thing you're targeting instead of just a huge aoe. Not sure how it compares to post nerf Mohgwyn's, but I wasn't too impressed using it on the Albinauric farm. Its true value is just the good bleed and physical AR, so use it with a shield or dual Great Spear with Mohgwyn's.

This thing's ash should have been a spell or an ash that could be put on any spear or great-spear. As it is it's neat, but not really worth it.

There's this and the fiends fork which are 2 different weapons in 2 different categories and it is indeed a guaranteed drop from the one wielding it slightly south west of taylews forge in the little lake pond area
I want to infuse this with bloodflame blade. This expansion added so many weapons with arcane scaling that can be buffed. Base game only had the two ripple weapons.

This is a guaranteed drop from a specific fiend by taylews forge entrance. Also this weapon is objectively worse than mohgwyn spear

Farmed roughly 80s in Prospect Town and no luck. Dropped at first time in the pond west of Taylew's Ruined Forge. However, no second one in following 10 tries. Maybe only one in one round.

Mine is upgraded with Somber Stones to +10 only and is not infusable.

This is not true if you try to farm here you will waste hours of your time this item has a guranteed drop start at Ancient Ruins Base grace (west of shadow keep) and go north to the river and kill the blood fiend in the river and he drops

The aow is broken for me. It's only ticking 300-400dmg at +9. Reg attacks from the weapon are doing correct damage
