Euporia is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Twinblade in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Euporia scales primarily with Strength, Dexterity and Faith and is a good Weapon for __goodfor__.
Twinblade symbolizing abundance. The secret treasure of the tower. Though the blades, fashioned from golden shoots, are largely wilted and darkened, their luster can be restored by dealing damage to foes. However, damage dealt to Those Who Live in Death will have no such effect.
Where to Find Euporia in Elden Ring
The Euporia weapon can be found at the following location:
Below, you can find a guide how to reach the room where you can find this weapon. Reaching this area requires story progression and takes place in the endgame part of the DLC. For a detailed walkthrough of the legacy dungeon, you can visit the Enir-Ilim page. Click "show" to reveal the guide on how to find this weapon.
Obtaining Euporia
The area just before the Spiral Rise Site of Grace [See Elden Ring Map] has a lot of loot that you shouldn't miss. From the Site of Grace, backtrack your way down the stairs, then turn left to find a set of steps going down. As you go through the archway, there will be a room on your right containing x1 Inquisitor Ashes. Go to the other archway just before the room, and you will see a staircase that you can drop down to that has an item.
Drop down to the stairs, and you can pick up x2 Fireproof Pickled Liver from the body. Head up the stairs, then look below the broken railings to find a ledge that you can drop down to. Look down on the southeastern section of the ledge, and you will find another area that you can drop down to.
Drop down to it, then follow the ledge going south. You'll come across a broken section going to an item. Jump to get to the other side, and you can pick up x1 Holyproof Pickled Liver. After looting it, drop down from the broken section of the ledge, then pick up the nearby item, which is x2 Smithing Stone [8].
Follow the ledge going south. Be careful as there are pillars are blocking off some parts of ledge, making it tough to navigate. Keep hugging the wall just to be safe. When you go around the corner, you will find another area that you can jump down to. Jump down the area, then traverse the ledge going southwest.
Keep following it, and you will acquire x10 Lordsworn's Bolt from a dead body at the end of it. After looting the body, follow the ledge to the other direction going down, and you'll be at a broken section of the ledge. Drop down it, and you will land near a hostile Shadow Undead. Kill it, then pick up x1 Somber Smithing Stone [5] nearby. Go down the stairs, and you'll find x10 Golem's Great Arrow from a dead body.
Belurat Tower Settlement Section
To progress further, sprint jump down the window south of the dead body containing x10 Golem's Great Arrow.
Once you have successfully jumped on the window, head inside the structure. The section you are in will be inside Belurat, Tower Settlement. Head out of the room, and you will end up in a courtyard. Pick up the x1 Scadutree Fragment by the covered statue. There are two other rooms that you can enter from the courtyard. The room on the east has a lift that you can take to return to Enir-Ilim, while the room on the south has a lift going down Belurat, Tower Settlement. Ride down the lift on the southern room.
After taking the lift, head outside by going through the archway on the southeastern side of the room. Follow the path by going down a staircase which leads you to a room containing three Tree Shamans. After clearing the room, follow the path going southwest. Head down the stairs, and you'll encounter a Horned Warrior patrolling the area. You can either fight it head-on, or you can sneak around as the Horned Warrior is patrolling in a way that you can sneak around it.
After dealing with the Horned Warrior with whichever method you choose, head inside the structure then go down the stairs on the western side. Go down the lift, and you will arrive in area with a bridge crossing to a door.
Cross the bridge, then open the door. You'll find a dead body by the altar, which you can loot for the Euporia twinblade.
Elden Ring Euporia Notes & Tips
- Weapon Skill: Euporia Vortex
- This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War
- Euporia can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones
- Euporia has a charging mechanic based on dealing a number of hits in quick succession. After 7 hits within a 10-second window, it gains a 5% damage buff which empowers its Weapon Skill: Euporia Vortex to fire holy bolts forward, in addition to its base effect. This charging mechanic does not work against undead enemies.

Ive been using this for a great while now. And people seem to think the aow is everything about it, and while yes, its the main appeal of the weapon, it actually has great AR in a fth build, tho personally ive been having to swap talis alot to make it work however. With millicents prosthesis and rotten sword insignia, paired with 2hand tali, this things r1 chain melts stuff, hitting for up to 6k chains. The aow do need a severe rework tho cus its currently completely unusable in a boss right, and realistically never gets used in the open world, because A) you either kill everything before its charged up, or B) the charge up ran out before you came to the high hp mob you want to use it on

This item is the greatest example of why it's a silly idea to base your theories on scrapped and datamined content.

AS much as i want to love this weapon, and i really do, it just seems way to impractical and inconsistent for general play.
The weapon art (the real appeal) takes 7 hits within 10 seconds, which against most enenmies is incredibly hard to make happen. You either have to be incredibly aggressive against bosses and risk taking serious damage, or go ham against an enemy. In either case, then the charge only lasts for something like 15 seconds, so you put all that work into an enemy that is likely just about dead, or into a boss where you have to then heal and might not even have a good opportunity to use the weapon art.
7 hits in 10 seconds for just the first charge level is just too many for most scenarios, and it's absolutely insane to me that the charge doesn't last until next use OR until death, as opposed to next use or within 15(ish) seconds, as it is now.
Love the weapon in concept. I'm begging fromsoft to give it some quality of life to make it usable in general play.

Okay, so it shows only what happens with the first level of the charge mechanic. Even then, it’s oddly unclear.
People say kills are required for the second and third tiers, but sometimes even against normal enemies kills charge the first tier faster than 7 hits. This weapon is extremely convoluted.

For me this weapon feels like an crucible weapon does someone know if the crucible armor effect does something with this weapon

Euporia means "to have means/assets/wealth" in Greek so its aptly named considering the flavour text

I have no idea whether the lack of an H in the word is on purpose or not, but just in case it is, "Euporia" is actually a real word. As far as I can tell, it's an alternate form of the Greek word "Aporia," which means a logical impasse or something you can't seem to figure out by thinking. The word seems to have a connection with the Socratic dialogue Lysis, in which Socrates discusses the meaning of friendship in a philosophical sense. What that has to do with a twinblade "symbolizing abundance" I don't know, but for the time being I doubt that Euporia is misspelled.

Mf talking about "ReTCoNNed” over literally scraped concept, which happened so ****ing often in any video game development cycles including FS games. Yeah yeah we get it you don't like the DLC lores, stop sperging out in unrelated topics.

Can someone explain how this thing charges? I hit a swarm of those penguin birds and it charged instantly, and then I fight+kill several enemies dealing thousands of damage in the process and it starts to glow right before killing the final enemy. I'm not seeing much of a pattern really, but I have noticed it loses its charge VERY quickly.
Also, there's 3 versions to this art of war. Version1 (Uncharged) spins the weapon like a Crucible weapon, inflicting damage. Version2 buffs Holy Damage by 35 and when the art is used, fires a Holy comet azur, much like the Sword of Night and Flame. Version3 buffs holy damage by maybe 70, and the Comet Azur lasts much longer.
That said, the range is still short, and ANY elevation eats the beam. It's extremely unreliable, and very difficult to use in any difficult encounter. They should do away with the charging, or at least make it fire the beam by default and have the charge bonuses (+70 Holy on-hit, Long lasting Beam) be the charged version. And make the charge last longer, and be built up more easily! It sucks immediately getting staggered and losing it all, because you probably won't get it back that fight.

It's sad there's no lore attached to this weapon. It has effects+spinning similar to Crucible Weapons, and the Weapon Art is a "Vortex" but there is no Crucible Knight called Euporia, it's just hidden in a chest.
Furthermore, we know it was once meant to be Miquella's weapon, and is still associated with Abundance and Decay (Abundance from Miquella, Decay from his intended Consort Godwyn, with the TWLID stuff clinging to the weapon)
I dunno. It's clear a different version of Shadow of the Erdtree was cooking at some point, but they scrapped it.

Im genuinely convinced this is supposed to be called Euphoria not Euporia

Another remnant of the retconned Miquella/Godwyn story arc.
"Twinblade symbolizing abundance and decay." In all likelihood, this could have been a Remembrance Item.
Instead, for the sake of the Radahn retcon, we got his Greatswords. Two versions of them. So three version total. Gee, thanks, that's fun.

This blade was supposed to be Miquella's gift to Malenia. Anyone who wants to make soulslike games should take notice how Fromsoftware recontextualizes old/cut assets. Same goes for the brave set.

Euporia was at my side all along… my true twinblade… my guiding abundance
A bunch of interesting things about this weapon:
Based on my testing (albeit limited, I'm no data-miner), it seems like the weapon buff is only one charge which can reach two different tiers, not two separate charges.
What does this mean? It means that if you land however many hits within 10 seconds (its not a discrete number, I believe its based on the motion values of the attacks, as it takes 6 one-handed r1s but 4 two-handed r1s (8 hits)), you get the first tier buff, which adds 35 holy damage to the weapon (flat, I believe) and buffs the skill. HOWEVER, in order to get the second tier, which further buffs the skill and adds 70 holy damage, you need to land double that many hits in 10 seconds. Yes, that's right, you don't need to "land x hits in 10 seconds twice in a row," you need to "land 2x hits in 10 seconds."
This has pros and cons, actually.
Cons:
- Getting the second tier buff is really hard. You basically need to land 4 fully charged r2s in a row, or a full r1 combo and then some, to get the max buff.
- Continuing to attack intermittently does not keep the buff alive once it's active, you need to fully re-proc it.
Pros:
- The buff doesn't care when you started attacking. It is basically always checking the last 10 seconds for how many hits you've gotten, so if you "miss" the timer, you can continue attacking to try for the next best cycle (that is, if you hit the one-handed r1 once, wait a couple seconds, then hit 5 more times within 11 seconds, you'll miss the window, but hitting one more time will give you the buff, since its now counting 10 seconds from your second hit)
- The buff can be re-upped at any point, and the buffs can be "layered." That is, if you are in tier 2 and proc tier 1, then technically tier 1 is active "underneath" tier 2, but tier 2 overrides it so they don't stack. Once tier 2 ends, you'll go to tier 1 for however much time tier 1 has left. This also means if you proc tier 1 again while in tier 1, you essentially reset the timer (this is the trade-off for not being able to "stack" two tier 1 buffs to reach tier 2).
Also to note, on my pure faith build, this has higher base AR than a sacred-infused Black Steel Twinblade, but using the Sacred Blade buff on the black-steel allows it to reach the level of a tier 2 Euporia. Obviously the Euporia's buff doesn't cost any FP, and the sacred blade skill, while good, doesn't dish out nearly as much damage as a charged Euporia can, but really it's up to personal preference. If you want a holy-damaging twinblade with a utility ash of war rather than a damaging one, the black-steel will serve you great.
