Godskin Peeler is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. The Godskin Peeler scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for melee users but requires a high dexterity character.

Unique twinblade wielded by Godskin Apostles characterized by its disturbing design. One end features a sickle for slicing attacks while the other boasts a winding spike for boring into flesh.

Much skill is required to wield this weapon due to its asymmetric nature.

Weapon Skill: Black Flame Tornado
This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with magic
Godskin Peeler can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
This weapon has a unique R2 and running R2 that utilize the winding spike end.
Sell value: 500 Runes.
At +25 with Blood affinity and at 40 Arcane, the bleed build-up per hit is more than 120. In NG+ if you obtain it a second time and upgrade that one as well to +25 Blood and dual-wield them, a jumping attack will hit 4x, applying a whopping 480 bleed build-up per jumping attack. This will trivialize any boss not immune to bleed even in NG+ and beyond. In 1.09 this will do about 200 bleed, which is still good, but nerfed significantly. A full 2H charged R2 combo will do 300 bleed, if you can get it off.
A good alternative to the above-mentioned strategy in NG (since you can only get one Godskin Peeler per NG-cycle) is a Blood Godskin Peeler and Eleonora's Poleblade, dual-wielded, fully upgraded.
For a crazy amount of physical damage plus bleed buildup on an arcane build, infuse it with Sepukku aow and convert to to an Occult weapon. Then pair it with a bleed infused Twinblade on your offhand.
NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed of some attacks has been increased and the recovery time has been reduced.

  If you’re like me and have trouble with a lot of bosses, I’d recommend using this with the twinned swords twin blade that you can pick up nearby, bleed affinity on both(bloody slash and blood blade are two easy to get options if you don’t have the whet blade). This is very powerful against bosses not immune to bleed, and can even be good for pure damage outputs against those who are. Jut make sure you get the first two smithing stone bell bearings first for easy upgrades.

  "At +25 with Blood affinity and at 40 Arcane, the bleed build-up per hit is more than 120. In NG+ if you obtain it a second time and upgrade that one as well to +25 Blood and dual-wield them, a jumping attack will hit 4x, applying a whopping 480 bleed build-up per jumping attack. This will trivialize any boss not immune to bleed even in NG+ and beyond." Is this still true? Sounds outdated.

  One of the best weapons in the game if built for properly, and incredibly versatile to boot. the skill hits like a buss even without a good build supporting it, and if properly built for it will melt anything that holds still long enough for it to hit. Faith builds struggling with the elden beast, bring this and have fun.
  
  it works for status effect builds, it works for dex builds, it looks awesome, but it has enough weaknesses that i don't feel cheesy using it.

  Since status effect buildup is reduced for power stance attacks, the running R2 for the Godskin Peeler does more buildup at the cost of damage, and it still hits 4 times in one go. If you're gonna do a bleed build with Lord of Blood's Exultation but without wanting to use Seppeku in either weapon, use the running R2 until you get the bleed proc, then do the power stance jumping attack.

  I was doing a Twinblade run and didn't pay this too much mind because I prefer other ashes of war and being able to mess with the affinity. But then I realized that just because it has a built-in ash of war it can still be altered, and my run got wayyyy better

  The names of this and the godskin stitcher is quite interesting as (if theses names are to be taken literally) the nobles and apostles seem to work together to make the skin clothing they wear with the apostle skinning the fallen foe and the Nobel stitching them together to form their clothing/other things they put skin on.

  If you love bleed, you should use this + another twinblade (godskin peeler in ng+, elenoras poleblad or even the normal ones) with blood affinity/a blood aow like seppuku or bloody slash. Every jump attack (at +24) proccs blood loss since you hit enemies 4 times (blood loss on each godskin peeler is around 120-130 with 50 ARC and 80 DEX). If you use white mask and the blood loss talisman, you will melt most of the enemies in the game. In addition, you can use the sword insiginas (both forms are great) too, since they procc after 3 hits (and you have 4 hits with 1 jump attack). The downside is, that only the jump attacks are nice and you will use them most of the time, anyway, I also love the fast moves of the twinblade-weapons too.

  You do not need to powerstance these if you want good bleed. Just do running R2s, those hit 3 times total meaning you get 400+ bleed with 50 arcane.

  seppuku blood godskin peeler in main hand with eleonora's in off hand and 50 arcane with the winged sword insignia, milicents prosthesis, raptor talisman, lord of blood exaltation, raptor cloak, white mask, and thorny crack tear.
  That **** trivialized Malenia.
  Why bother learning how to dodge Waterfoul dance when you can just go jump attack her and bleed her out of the animation instead?
  her healing and damage dont matter much when 3 jump attacks bleed her 5 times and deal 2.4 times damage from the all the buffs and talismans.

  I know seppuku is the AoW of choice for bleed affinity, but I have to say Blood Tax is very fun and effective.
  
  If you start with a running 2H R2 and then immediately transition into Blood Tax, you can take thousands of HP from anything that's not status effect resistant.
  It's not as effective on bosses since most hop around so much, but on regular big boys? Takes em down a peg, and it's fun

  In the notes & tips, it says that a powerstanced jump attack (assuming each peeler has 120 blood build up) would build up 480 bleed, but each attack has its own status build up motion values, which in this particular case (50 + 50 + 90 + 90) would mean a status build up of 336, which is huge, but nowhere close to 480.
  
  Also, if you don't have access to two godskin peelers and want to do that whole shabang, just use the normal twinblade. All of the twinblades have the same build up on the blood infusion, which is much higher than you can get on Eleonora's Poleblade, because that can't be infused.

  For a crazy amount of physical damage plus bleed buildup on an arcane build, infuse it with Sepukku aow and convert to to an Occult weapon. Then pair it with a bleed infused Twinblade on your offhand.

  If you're going to dual wield Twinblades, you can use any two Twinblades. Just make sure they're both Bleed-infused. Eleonora's Poleblade deals relatively low Bleed per hit, and isn't a good pairing for the Peeler.
  
  The only advantage to the Godskin Peeler is its unique R2's, specifically the two-handed charged and running R2's. These hit more times than normal, and build up Bleed very quickly.

  With 40 arcane and max upgrade at level 25, 120 bleed, the jumping paired attack does 336 bleed not 480.
  Status MV for the attacks is 50 + 50 + 90 + 90, resulting in 280% of status buildup, not 400%

  Hi,
  With a dex/faith build, should I imbue it with flame art, or let it not imbued, and use the black flame blade spell on it?
  As if I imbue it I think I cannot use any buff on it right?
  But the black flame blade is so short duration, I wonder if it worth it, and if I imbue it, I will have an extra damage output and flame damage everytime...

  awesome moveset, awesome blood buildup, awesome that this weapon only need normal smithing stones and can be infused by AoWs, awesome in dual wield with another twinblade (even with the normal one you can get very early in the game) - use this one with the twinblades and seppuku, every jump attack destroys nearly every enemy and hit bosses very hard, awesome again!

  This is probably the best weapon in game. Put bleed on it and you can go rocking. Just get enough Vigor to trade blows with....everyone.

  Another trendy pvp weapon that is trivial to parry
  
  they always open with a jumping attack, and mid air they are mashing/buffering an R1

  The bleed scaling with arcane on this weapon is absurdly high for some reason (130+ with high arcane builds). Power stance this with another bleed twinblade and no joke your first jump attack bleeds pretty much every enemy in the game.

  Has to be one of my favourite weapons in the entire game. Such a beautiful and elegant weapon with one of the best move sets in the game, capable of inflicting hemorrhage with a single running heavy attack.

  This on +25, occult infusion, seppuku, golden vow + flame grant me strength, twinblade talisman, millicents prosthesis, lord of bloods exultation, thorny cracked tear, white mask and mimic tear. With 80 arc / 80 dex it does absolutely absurd ammounts of damage. Like you can unironically get into comet azur numbers if you get the opportunity to deal a full light attack combo. I managed to one-shot Morgott in about 25 seconds and it took me like 15 to do the incants, mimic and physick.

  Essential for any cheese board. Top half for cutting the meats, and a corkscrew to open up a bottle of wine. A must-have for any gourmet tarnished

  I don't know why people keep saying this needs innate bleed. None of the Godskin Apostle fights proc bleed on you, not even when they buff during second phase. Eleonora's Poleblade already does base bleed build-up anyway.

  I guarantee you that if Rivers is super nerfed to the point of uselessness like some people seem to want, if this thing goes untouched it'll be right there to take its place. People just don't even know.

  I think it was referenced before somewhere, but I just got the black whetstone blade, which let's me put bloodhound step on this with bleed!! Arcane build is crazy!!! I also use Eleonara's pole blade in left hand and just shred those bosses.

  Some of the lighter attacks don't seem to apply the extra damage if you have the weapon buffed with BFB or whatever. Pretty disappointing.
