Godskin Peeler is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. The Godskin Peeler scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for melee users but requires a high dexterity character.

Unique twinblade wielded by Godskin Apostles characterized by its disturbing design. One end features a sickle for slicing attacks while the other boasts a winding spike for boring into flesh.

Much skill is required to wield this weapon due to its asymmetric nature.

Weapon Skill: Black Flame Tornado
This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with magic
Godskin Peeler can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
This weapon has a unique R2 and running R2 that utilize the winding spike end.
Sell value: 500 Runes.
At +25 with Blood affinity and at 40 Arcane, the bleed build-up per hit is more than 120. In NG+ if you obtain it a second time and upgrade that one as well to +25 Blood and dual-wield them, a jumping attack will hit 4x, applying a whopping 480 bleed build-up per jumping attack. This will trivialize any boss not immune to bleed even in NG+ and beyond. In 1.09 this will do about 200 bleed, which is still good, but nerfed significantly. A full 2H charged R2 combo will do 300 bleed, if you can get it off.
A good alternative to the above-mentioned strategy in NG (since you can only get one Godskin Peeler per NG-cycle) is a Blood Godskin Peeler and Eleonora's Poleblade, dual-wielded, fully upgraded.
For a crazy amount of physical damage plus bleed buildup on an arcane build, infuse it with Sepukku aow and convert to to an Occult weapon. Then pair it with a bleed infused Twinblade on your offhand.
NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed of some attacks has been increased and the recovery time has been reduced.

  I'm fairly sure the design is based on a shellfish picker, which is used to get the small pieces out of lobster legs, that sort of thing. I've got one in a drawer, I saw it today and was like "oh snap the godskin peeler"

  Over 700+ hours with Peeler. Decent in pve, mediocre against bosses unless doing the OP bleed build, high tier and incredibly fun in pvp. By far the best twinblade in pvp because of the unique Running R2 (two quick spins then a sudden long range stab that catches panic rolls) Def not top tier and has some weaknesses (trash poise damage, attacks too slow out of rolls to deal with cancer dual spears/fists + hold forward on the analog stick builds (spinning slash is a must))

  Pretty solid with Godskin Swaddling Cloth. A single two-handed running R2 procs the heal every time and does solid damage. Fun for an aggressive playstyle if you like leech-ey stuff & prefer a single twinblade.

  I had the Bloodhound's Fang as my main weapon for the majority of my first run of the game. However, I switched to this one for 2 (well, 3) bosses: Placidusax and Radagon-Elden Beast. I really love the Bloodhound's Fang, but the Godskin Peeler can really hold its own for the most part. I'm also amused that I was using a regular twinblade when I killed Margit and then I used this weapon to beat the final boss. I guess past me had the right idea about the twinblades all along.

  Really wish the second one-handed R2 pancaked enemies. It would just make sense considering the animation and given its size it would absolutely be able to just stake dudes into to the ground.

  I feel like godskin peeler is the best twinblade to one hand. Even more so if your doing a spellsword build.
  
  The thrusting heavies are extremely nice and get some pretty stupid thrust counter damage, Lights are wide enough to handle groups, and your spell/incantation catalyst can cover your ranged weakness.

  I feel like this weapon is not even talked about really. Even when searching something like "top 20 weapons for elden ring 2023" this spectacular Godskin Peeler does not show up. It has a fantastic weapon art, and let me just add, if you have 99 dex like me, start using this weapon and you will have alot of fun with it!

  If you want to do something different for pve, I'm trying a lifesteal - bleed - evasion build centered around this weapon. I have blood lord's exaltation, godskin swaddling cloth, millicent's prosthetis, and crucible feather talisman. Then blood flame talons and bloodboon as incantations, flame grant me strength as buff. The peeler itself has blood tax as AoW, either occult or blood infused. If I feel like occult I use bloodflame blade too to buff it but usually I have it blood infused so that I don't need to buff it and I can benefit more from dexterity; all of this with the dragon seal (the one that scales with arcane). Talking about stats, I'm experimenting this on ng+ at rl 190 so stats are not a problem, but I think you can make this work at 125 and in ng too. After all, the only things to consider mandatory are 17 in strength to use the peeler, and 15 in faith to use all the mentioned incantations. The main aim should be 40 arcane, some 20+ in dex, enough vitality to not die immediately, enough endurance to light roll with your chosen fashion (varre's mask is an option too) and that's pretty much it, maybe just 20+ mind to use all the spells and the AoW more freely. Finally, I suppose malenia's great rune would be a nice fit but I haven't reached that point of the game yet, and I have more damage from consecutive attacks and more invincibility during rolls in my Physic flask.
  Just came up with all of this while playing, so I haven't done good tests yet, but all the Talismans for damage buff and health regen instantly proc with either a two-handed charged r2 or blood tax on the blackflame monk outside of temple of eiglay. Maybe AR is not that exceptional but with how op bleed is I think I enjoy it that way. I'll post precise better tests if I remember lol

  If you’re like me and have trouble with a lot of bosses, I’d recommend using this with the twinned swords twin blade that you can pick up nearby, bleed affinity on both(bloody slash and blood blade are two easy to get options if you don’t have the whet blade). This is very powerful against bosses not immune to bleed, and can even be good for pure damage outputs against those who are. Jut make sure you get the first two smithing stone bell bearings first for easy upgrades.

In NG+ if you obtain it a second time and upgrade that one as well to +25 Blood and dual-wield them, a jumping attack will hit 4x, applying a whopping 480 bleed build-up per jumping attack.   One of the best weapons in the game if built for properly, and incredibly versatile to boot. the skill hits like a buss even without a good build supporting it, and if properly built for it will melt anything that holds still long enough for it to hit. Faith builds struggling with the elden beast, bring this and have fun.
  
  it works for status effect builds, it works for dex builds, it looks awesome, but it has enough weaknesses that i don't feel cheesy using it.

  Since status effect buildup is reduced for power stance attacks, the running R2 for the Godskin Peeler does more buildup at the cost of damage, and it still hits 4 times in one go. If you're gonna do a bleed build with Lord of Blood's Exultation but without wanting to use Seppeku in either weapon, use the running R2 until you get the bleed proc, then do the power stance jumping attack.

  I was doing a Twinblade run and didn't pay this too much mind because I prefer other ashes of war and being able to mess with the affinity. But then I realized that just because it has a built-in ash of war it can still be altered, and my run got wayyyy better

  The names of this and the godskin stitcher is quite interesting as (if theses names are to be taken literally) the nobles and apostles seem to work together to make the skin clothing they wear with the apostle skinning the fallen foe and the Nobel stitching them together to form their clothing/other things they put skin on.

  If you love bleed, you should use this + another twinblade (godskin peeler in ng+, elenoras poleblad or even the normal ones) with blood affinity/a blood aow like seppuku or bloody slash. Every jump attack (at +24) proccs blood loss since you hit enemies 4 times (blood loss on each godskin peeler is around 120-130 with 50 ARC and 80 DEX). If you use white mask and the blood loss talisman, you will melt most of the enemies in the game. In addition, you can use the sword insiginas (both forms are great) too, since they procc after 3 hits (and you have 4 hits with 1 jump attack). The downside is, that only the jump attacks are nice and you will use them most of the time, anyway, I also love the fast moves of the twinblade-weapons too.

  Dual handing this with the twin blade with the white mask and twin blade talisman, then wearing whatever looks sick as hell is the most fun I’ve had in this game.

  You do not need to powerstance these if you want good bleed. Just do running R2s, those hit 3 times total meaning you get 400+ bleed with 50 arcane.

  seppuku blood godskin peeler in main hand with eleonora's in off hand and 50 arcane with the winged sword insignia, milicents prosthesis, raptor talisman, lord of blood exaltation, raptor cloak, white mask, and thorny crack tear.
  That **** trivialized Malenia.
  Why bother learning how to dodge Waterfoul dance when you can just go jump attack her and bleed her out of the animation instead?
  her healing and damage dont matter much when 3 jump attacks bleed her 5 times and deal 2.4 times damage from the all the buffs and talismans.

  I know seppuku is the AoW of choice for bleed affinity, but I have to say Blood Tax is very fun and effective.
  
  If you start with a running 2H R2 and then immediately transition into Blood Tax, you can take thousands of HP from anything that's not status effect resistant.
  It's not as effective on bosses since most hop around so much, but on regular big boys? Takes em down a peg, and it's fun

  In the notes & tips, it says that a powerstanced jump attack (assuming each peeler has 120 blood build up) would build up 480 bleed, but each attack has its own status build up motion values, which in this particular case (50 + 50 + 90 + 90) would mean a status build up of 336, which is huge, but nowhere close to 480.
  
  Also, if you don't have access to two godskin peelers and want to do that whole shabang, just use the normal twinblade. All of the twinblades have the same build up on the blood infusion, which is much higher than you can get on Eleonora's Poleblade, because that can't be infused.

  I’m using a dex/arc build using dual godskin peelers and I’m currently helping other players fight Malenia and I’m just wondering is it better to have bleed or occult infused with seppuku and also should I have one infused with cold with chilling mist to apply frost and getting the debuffs

  i dont understand why 2 peelers is suggested and eleonora poleblade is also suggested.. +25 twinned knights applies over 120 bleed, i procd way faster than with my eleonora poleblade

  For a crazy amount of physical damage plus bleed buildup on an arcane build, infuse it with Sepukku aow and convert to to an Occult weapon. Then pair it with a bleed infused Twinblade on your offhand.
