Ash of War: Ground Slam is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material in Elden Ring. Ash of War: Ground Slam provides Heavy affinity and the Ground Slam Skill. Ashes of War can be equipped on Weapons and Shields to modify the Skill or an equipment, or to apply affinities that modify scaling values.
This Ash of War grants an armament the Heavy affinity and the following skill:
"Ground Slam: Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends a powerful shockwave in all directions."
Usable on all melee armaments.

actually hella viable against crystalians. the damage is the same wether their armor is broken or not, it's really good. Used it against the rot crystalians trio and managed to get them in a few tries

Nothing is more satisfying than being surrounded by a bunch of dogs or rats, and then one shotting them all with this skill.

Not only do you have massive poise during the animation but at least for me testing on the banished knights in the Crumbling Farum Azula on NG+2 with 80 strength I was able to stagger them with 2 hits and each of those hits dealt around 1200 so I'd say it's a pretty good deal. It can however you get killed if you do it while the enemy are also in the middle of an animation which grant them massive poise as the animation is moderately lengthy so watch out.

Good for Mega Knight cosplay with Star Fist. This move does big boy poise damage in PvE. The closer your enemy is to your ass slam, the better. Make sure you land right on top of ‘em. Style points if you can manage to finish off a player in PvP.

if you kill someone with this in pvp just remember you not only demolished his in-game character you probably murdered him irl too. bonus damage if you do it again after your opponent dies
