Ash of War: Golden Slam is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material in Elden Ring. Ash of War: Golden Slam provides Sacred affinity and the Golden Slam Skill. Ashes of War can be equipped on Weapons and Shields to modify the Skill or an equipment, or to apply affinities that modify scaling values.
This Ash of War grants an armament the Sacred affinity and the following skill:
"Golden Slam: Skill of the avatars who protect Minor Erdtrees. Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends golden shockwaves in all directions."
Usable on all melee armaments.

Where to find Ash of War: Golden Slam:
- Altus Plateau: There's a Teardrop Scarab that spawns inside one of the buildings of the Woodfolk Ruins that's right next to the Minor Erdtree in the area. Defeat it to obtain the ashes. [Map Link]

It would be nice if equipment load affected the damage. Heavier you are, more damage you do.

When ever those crawling grabby bois with black tea cozy's on their heads get a wiki, big tip: They grab you mid air if you do any of those highly stable ground slam WA's like golden cheeks. Tried to do it to the group of 3 in sol castle and they broke my slam animation when i was around the peak and ate me.
Has anyone else had issue where this Scarab never appears? I've tried approaching this area from different angles and at different times of the day and this Scarab never spawns.

It’s actually more to the south west of the map location given. Inside a small square shaped ruins building right next to the minor erdtree lower trunk on the map.

I accidentally discovered that this deals full damage to Crystalians, just like a strike weapon.
Not what I expected.
Map marker is a bit off.. for me I found the Teardrop Scarab at -86.98736 : 93.76582

Yeah this one shots.
I got killed by a guy doing a bomberman cosplay.
He was using this and the flask that makes you explode and he instakilled me and 2 phantoms.
Decided to try it myself and yeah, it instakills people who try to trade with it using their own fancy weapon art.
Its basically the ROCK that beats SCISSORS in the pvp meta. It gets beat by PAPER which would be longer ranged spells.

Tooltip image looks like the user has had divine tacos last night.
The map link is incorrect, the correct location is in the western part, right "behind" the erdtree-image of the map
weird how some weapons can use ground slam, but not golden slam. aren't they basically the same though?
