Woodfolk Ruins Walkthrough
You will find Woodfolk Ruins just east of the Minor Erdtree in Altus Plateau. Upon reaching the area, there will be several Lesser Wormface roaming the ruins. There's also an underground chamber, and there are usually three Lesser Wormface guarding the entrance so you'll have to take them out. Going down the stairs will lead you to a door, open the door and then you'll see a chest inside, the chest contains the Wrath of Gold.
Run back up the stairs, there's a smaller ruined building within the area, you will find the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [19] just laying on the ground beside a wall. You will also encounter a Teardrop Scarab spawn in the area, kill it to obtain the Ash of War: Golden Slam.
There's also a building nearby, beware of the enemies inside, this is where you can obtain the Icon Shield.
The Soft Cotton can be located near the ruins as well, guarded by snail like enemies.

There's definitely the "Wormface" named boss in this zone sitting at the Minor Erdtree. You can try to use the buildings as shelter if you cleared out the lesser wormfaces and he's weak against fire. Drops the Crimsonspill Crystal Tear and the Speckled Hardtear. There's also a sentinel you can call and follow to presumably an item but I lost track of where he went

If anyone is having trouble getting the items being heavily guarded by the wormface enemies in wood-folk ruins, the wrath of gold incantation, icon shield and nomadic warrior cookbook 19 can all easily be gotten using the poison mist incantation and a little patience,the poison mist incantation is easy to get and it also works on the giant wormface guarding the minor erdtree nearby, use cotton to muffle your footsteps and slowly sneak up on them until you are close enough for poison mist to kick in, they will not hear you cast the incantation neither will any of the erdtree guardians near the boss variant. I wouldn't recommend using poison mist to avoid boss fights, it's cheating yourself out of gameplay you paid money to experience. These wormface are fair game though, any time I've tried fighting them fair and square I get hammered by the deathblight and die before I can do anything about it, not much fun in dying like that over and over.

Ash of War: Golden Slam can be dropped from scarab around -87, 94.
This Ash of War grants an armament the Sacred affinity and the following skill:
"Goldem Slam: Skill of the avatars who protect Minor Erdtrees. Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends golden shockwaves in all directions."
Usable on all melee armaments.
