Caelem Ruins Walkthrough
These ruins are filled with burning Putrid Corpses that shamble towards targets and explode kamikaze-style. There are also several Maneuverable Flamethrowers roaming the ruins. These are incredibly dangerous and should be fought on horseback to more easily dodge their streams of fire. You can aim for their operators riding behind the flamethrowers who are easier to kill than the flamethrowers themselves. Getting rid of the operators also gets rid of the flamethrowers.
On the eastern side of the ruins, near the duo of Maneuverable Flamethrowers, you can find a set of stairs leading underground to the Mad Pumpkin Head duo boss fight. Defeating these two awards 6,300 Runes and allows access to the treasure room at the back, where you can find a chest containing the Visage Shield.

Bosses are a pushover compared to crazy dogs and chariots in the area.

Despite resting at the site of grace multiple times, the caelem ruins site of grace does not appear on the map nor is it fast-travelable. Someone ought to put that information on here

I'm a mage, but I handled this with some very upgraded hook claws. They absolutely shred these pumpkins.
Summon your best tanky guy. In my case, Lhutel the Headless (+3 at the time of fight) did well... he lasts a fair while and does a lot of damage. While your summon is handling one guy, lure the other one away and melee it. One at a time, it should be fairly easy to time your dodges, and then spam a few hook claw shots (or whatever you want to do). Rinse/repeat. Keep the two guys far apart or the other one may hit you when you aren't looking.
That all said, the reward is a shield. I don't use shields, and this thing is super heavy... so research it first and see if it is worth your time/effort/suffering.
The same person who put two large enemies that move the same speed in one tiny room is the same person who thought slapping Rom into a small chalice dungeon room was a great idea.
Seriously, that duo is beyond annoying.

If this is caelid catacombs the boss is a cemetery shade and gives you kindred of rot ashes
Recently got the game and spent a few days troubleshooting until eventually it started running properly; no frame issues, no freezes, extremely rare crashes. But when I got to this zone (and particularly the boss) the crashes got far, far worse, and now I can't even get through one of the pumpkinheads' healthbars without crashing and having to restart. It has only been an issue in this exact spot (Caelum Ruins) and with this boss so far, so does anyone know what might be provoking the crashes or how to get around this? My hunch is telling me it has something to do with all the fire particles right above the boss room in the ruins, since it gets particularly bad if I aggro anything before attempting the boss.
