A peaceful church at the back of Stormveil Castle.

Church of Irith is a Location in Elden Ring. The Church of Irith is found in Liurnia of the Lakes. It can be easily accessed as it is on an open field at the south of Liurnia of the Lakes a few steps to the northwest of the Graveyard.

Church of Irith is one of the first locations you can reach once you enter Liurnia of the Lakes. It is located behind Stormveil Castle and you can follow the outer walls east to reach it. [Elden Ring Map Link]

Church of Irith Walkthrough

Church of Irith is one of the first locations you can visit once you enter Liurnia of the Lakes after completing Stormveil Castle (or using the alternate route into Liurnia). Of note in this church are the Sacred Tear in front of the Statue of Marika and the NPC Thops sitting on a bench at the side. Thops will sell you some low-level sorcery spells after donating 10 Runes to him. You can also speak to him about an Academy Glintstone Key and he will mention wanting to return to the academy. When you've obtained two such keys, you can donate one to Thops and he will move to the Raya Lucaria Academy. If you return to the church after Thops leaves, there will be a Teardrop Scarab where he used to sit. Killing it awards the Ash of War: Thops's Barrier. If it does not drop the Ash of War, double check that you do not have this specific item already.
