Swamp Lookout Tower is a Location in Elden Ring. The Swamp Lookout Tower is found in Caelid, southwest of Sellia, Town of Sorcery. It can only be reached after unlocking the seal to the large doorway in the very back of Sellia. See below for details.

Swamp Lookout Tower Walkthrough
In order to reach this tower, you will first need to unlock the sealed doorway the very back of Sellia, Town of Sorcery by lighting all three tower braziers. Once this is achieved, you can follow the Sellia Backstreets towards the hills east of the town where many graveyards and the Church of the Plague can be found. Continue along south on these hills until you reach the Sellia Gateway. You can cross through the upper portion of the gateway towards the western hill where the tower can be found.
At the tower, you can find the Eternal Darkness spell on a corpse inside the jail cell. Beware as you approach the tower as there is a Lesser Bloodhound Knight waiting to ambush you.

AnonymousYou don't need to open the sealed doorway in Sellia, to access this tower. You can get there via Greyolls Dragonbarrow.

The guide makes it sound like clearing Sellia is the only way to this area. Just use the Spirit Spring southwest of Fort Faroth to skip that nonsense if you're trying to grab all of the related loot before doing Sellia.

I have a problem. The passage to the spell is simply closed, there is no interaction with the door. What to do? Is there a trigger?

To get to 2nd level, jump onto block/ruble on left inside entrance. Face jagged entrance edge. Without directional joystick, SINGLE-jump and you will naturally jump slightly forward and barely stand on left edge of entrance. THEN double up to 2nd story. Nothing is up there.

From the Church of the Plague site of grace, follow the road south towards the Sellia Gateway. Once you reach the eastern upper level of the gateway you'll notice an opening that functions like a bridge. Dismount and proceed carefully there is a group of invisible Sellia mages in front of the item in the middle of the bridge. Kill these guys and youre on the western side of the gateway. As far as I know, this is the only way to get to the lookout.

How to reach it is too vague, anyone know how to get up there?
My spell isnt there its only a sacred tear. Anyone know why this is?
