Seethewater Cave Walkthrough
From the Site of Grace, drop down a small ledge to find 2 Leyndell Soldiers, one patrolling and one sitting in a room to the right. Continue onwards and drop down a hole to reach the main area of the cave with a poisonous floor and many Servants of Rot. Watch out for Skeletal Slimes that drip from the ceiling.
From the drop down, there is some loot to the right, loot the body draped over the cliff for Golden Rune (7), then turn left . Ahead, there is another side path to the left which contains some Rats and a Giant Rat as well as some Cave Moss. Go back to the main corridor and proceed to find multiple Servants of Rot walking around a tree. Try to lure them out one by one or sneak/sprint past them and drop down a small poison waterfall into a poison-filled chamber below. To the left is the way back up, along with more rats and servants. You can find the Mushroom Set in a room off this path containing a Giant Miranda Sprout and several Servants of Rot. When facing the creatures in this room, try to lure them out to face them individually. You can go ahead and equip the Mushroom Set, since it gives you high immunity. It will help you get around this cave better without worrying as much about the poison effects.
Head back down and to the right, then drop down to reach the last tunnel before the boss. Head upwards to find a rat guarding a Golden Rune (6), then go the other way to find the boss: Two Kindred of Rot which drop the Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman. Beware that their projectiles apply poison even if you block.

The beast torch, flame cleanse me and a source of fire damage make this place much more manageable. Great loot, worth the struggle.

Something interesting, there is soldier outside this cave who at first is found sitting peacefully next to a Miquella's Lily, but if you take the flower and reload or respawn the soldier he'll be standing up looking around for it (the flower does not respawn). Another of the many amazing tiny details that are easily missed in this game.

I think the seal on the cave have nothing to do with rewards. It's those survived soldiers tried to hide inside from the horrors of Mt. Gelmir, so they sealed it.

This boss fight isn't all that difficult. They are slippery, fast and quickly get out of range when trying to hit them with melee weapons. They have a weakness to fire though, anything with an AOE or DOT will decimate their health bar. If you have a summons that can dish out fire damage as well it gets even easier, I used volcano pots to slow them down in the AOE it does good damage and makes them a lot easier to land hits on when the damage is ticking.

To beat the boss, one must inhale dubious amounts of copium

There's a corpse with two rats and 10 poisonbone darts in the hole dropping down to the boss, on one of the ledges.

"...containing a Giant Miranda Sprout and several Servants of Rot. When facing the creatures in this room, try to lure them out to face them individually." Or just nuke the room with Night Maidens Mist and get everything but the flower...

In the last bit just before boss when dropping down, you can find 10 poison darts and two small rats on one of the ledges.

Connects with the copium catacombs through the malding tunnel

Why does this specific dungeon require 2 keys? The loot is pretty meh and works only on very specific builds, and the boss was insanely boring considering I had already done Lake of Rot by that point. There are a lot of other dungeons with way better loot and more fun bosses that require 0 keys, so why does specific one require 2? Lol

'See the Water Cave' was the original name but they needed to save space.

I think of it as a nice checkpoint on the run to the "you're beuatiful" stone. I try to save as many NPC's as I can so these games are always a struggle lol

This must be where salty devs from Guerilla Games, Ubisoft, and EA are posting their tweets from.

useful if you want some help with traversing the lake of rot.

Useless dungeon, unlock it only if you want the Mushroom armor.

shares subtle structural similarities with dilated tunnel, malding catacombs, and sneed's rest. some youtuber should milk this into a 20 minute lore video!
