Golden Lineage Evergaol is a Location in Elden Ring. The Golden Lineage Evergaol is found in Altus Plateau. It is in the far southwest of the region, right by Grand Lift of Dectus. It is in an area the requires you to follow a specific pathway to access, while jumping down the cliffside will usually result in death. You must spend one Stonesword Key to unlock it.

Golden Lineage Evergaol Walkthrough
To get to the Evergaol, start at the Altus Plateau site of grace and head south of the Grand Lift of Dectus. Once at the edge of the cliff behind the lift, head to the far east side of the cliff, where you can jump down along a path that will lead you to the bottom. Upon reaching the arena you can go against Godefroy the Grafted who will share similar movements and attacks as one of the early bosses, Godrick the Grafted without reaching phase 2 and added fire. Defeating Godefroy will reward players with a Godfrey Icon Talisman, which can enhance charged spells and skills, along with 26,000 Runes.

Trash instructions need to be updated to Erdtree-Gazing Hill. There is no single "Atlas Plateau" site of grace.

The walkthrough description is incorrect: when you get to the cliffs you need to head south, not east, to get to the path to the evergaol.

I actually love that this is included, because it's a clear instance of the game showing the player "look how much you've grown". I struggled with the version in Stormveil so much, but by the time I got to this fight I found all his attacks painfully easy to dodge and super telegraphed. Plus I was doing ridiculous amounts of damage with every hit. Souls style games make you grow both as a player and a character to get through them, and I really appreciate that.

I can't enter it. I get the message "The imp's seal is in effect". Any ideas ? Will prolly just come back here later and see if it somehow unlocked.

The easiest way to get here is from Erdtree-Gazing Hill site of grace and go down the hill to the south, you'll find a tunnel that leads straight to the evergaol. Not sure why nobody mentions this anywhere as it took me 20 minutes of throwing myself off of various cliffs near the evergaol to realize there was a tunnel.
Interestingly, if you look at the name of Godfrey in this evergaol, in this evergaol, (at least on PS4) it's misspelled as "Godefroy" lol
