This is the best place to farm bloodroses early game. Grab all the roses, but DON'T kill the sanguine noble! Let him kill you so you can respawn at the stake of marika right outside, saving you a walk from the nearest grace.

For anyone trying to figure out info about the assassins that spawn in the rose church.
        - They are called " Sanguine Nobles"
        - They wield the "Reduvia" and the "Bloody Helice" as weapons. To figure out how to get those go to their appropriate wiki pages.
        - No, they do not drop pieces of their armor set. You must fight a mini boss invasion in the Consecrated Snowfields to get their armor.
        - The armor set is named the "Sanguine Noble" set appropriately.

Figured I'd post this here because it was the info I was trying to dig for in the forums when I couldn't get a straight answer about any of this info. So these are the facts from that result.

Some info on the assassin who spawns in the church (need some confirmation on if this is 100% true or not): His sword (right hand) is Bloody Helice and his dagger (left hand) is Reduvia. The incantation he uses is Bloodboon. He also uses Kukri as throwing weapon. You can search these individually on this wiki to find out where to get them. I only did this research because I'm interested in a bleed build myself, so I also found other bleed incantations: Swarm of Flies and Bloodflame Talons. Also Bloodflame Blade, but it can't be used with the Bloody Helice.

No info about the NPC who literally spawns and fights you in the church? lol looks someone was in a hurry to write these wiki pages.

yo, that magewarrior inside the church looked dope, but he didn^t drop anything for me... did anyone get his weapon or clothing?

This is the location where you get the Bloody Finger pvp item. You must first talk to White Faced Varre and get the single use bloody finger and successfully invade and kill a host. Return to Varre and he will give you a Lord of Blood’s Favor. You must then soak the favor in maiden’s blood by killing a maiden such as Irina or Hyetta. After this, return to Varre and he will give you the infinite use Bloody Finger.
