Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle is a Perfume Bottle in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Perfume Bottle in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle scales primarily with StrengthDexterity and Arcane and is a good Weapon for Poison Builds.

Perfume bottle customized by Thiollier. Attacks release perfumed powder, producing deadly poison. There are some techniques of the perfuming arts that employ poison. Upon learning of this, Thiollier threw himself into mastering those techniques, and he made them his own.

So is this completely missable if i killed some random bug man at the beginning that turned out to be Moore. found his bellbering later and handed it in. Now I am at the end of the dlc and this Thiollier person is not at this site of grace I missed. I had found St. Trina earlier but there is no other NPC there. So the NPC is no where now? Apparently there is no bellbering and it is supposed to be with Moores stuff but the shop never updated.

This is a letdown should transform into an eternal sleep perfume, totally a waste. WHY ISNT THERE A ETERNAL SLEEP PERFUME. Literally the most necessary item and if it worked like the poison one but only didn’t kill you if you were like wearing the flower or something.

        • Anonymous

Seems underwhelming. At 63 arcane it takes 3 casts to trigger. Poison bone darts are more effective and at a distance. Am I missing something?

Contrary to what people say, this weapon is unique in the fact that it applies the cooler poison (the one that does 2x damage but lasts 1/2 time)
It also being perfumer's tool means you get the funny moveset with it. It's ash of war is.. well unique. It applies deadly poison FAST but also does so to you making either poison cleansing necesarry or making you take some self damage. As an offhand weapon (or better yet, mainhand with something like scimitar in the offhand) it works quite well. Don't expect it to beat something broken like rolling sparks, but once that AoW damage is fixed this will be a good option.

Since this does physical damage and has almost no weight it pairs with the blue dancer talisman well. Unfortunately that only seems to bring it up to par with the direct damage of the fire and lightning bottles. It does outperform them if you add the kindred of rot talisman and use the ash of war to poison yourself, but then those bottles can just take a scorpion charm and wear armor to make up for the defense loss since it's not like they care about being at medium weight. The only reason to use this over any of the other bottles is if you for some reason want to poison enemies specifically which is relevant against, I don't know, land squirts? Please. Even a dex 80 / arc 80 build is going to be more effective with the fire bottle than this one.

              • Anonymous

Already being poison for the Arc one makes this pretty bad but them making it a weapon that needs somber smithing stones/you can't take the terrible Skill off and replace it with a good ash of war makes it worthless.
People who are saying it being sleep, rot, or bleed would be too op are forgetting that there's literally a madness perfume... this sucks.

                  At +10:
                  20 Arc = 69 poison
                  25 Arc = 70 poison
                  30 Arc = 78 poison
                  35 Arc = 86 poison
                  40 Arc = 93 poison
                  45 Arc = 101 poison
                  50 Arc = 104 poison
                  55 Arc = 106 poison
                  60 Arc = 108 poison
                  70 Arc = 109 poison
                  80 Arc = 111 poison
                  90 Arc = 112 poison
                  99 Arc = 113 poison

Been trying to make these work, but Rolling Spark on any other Perfume Bottle is just plain superior for less effort.

Even having minimal DEX and some FTH made Lightning Perfume Bottle superior to DP Perfume Bottle solely due to Rolling Spark.

Easily telegraphed in PvP, but man. R2 enjoyers in PvE will love this.

Run attack with it, charge it, love it. Can even stagger heavily-armored sorts with the charged attack. Can even kite with it a lot.

This weapon is an acquired taste.

If you missed out buying this from Thiollier by progressing too far in the story. You can instead buy it from Moore at Main Gate Cross site of grace.

Unfortunately these are not great (for PvP at least). Unlike the other perfume bottles which can deal absurd amounts of damage, this tends to tickle foes and it's stuck with what is a fairly bad weapon art. Spend five minutes with the fire or lightning bottles + either new ash of war slapped on them and you'll quickly see what I mean. I can't really recommend using this. That said, if you really need a light weapon to trigger poison, this is your best option.

Sucks they made this one special with a AoW you can't take off, really curbs it's useability compared to the others, especially since it just poisons you when you use that skill.

These fart jars have allowed me to kill 5 major bosses without issue so far. They stagger, they stink, and when paired with a cure poison incantation, hit everything around you without issue.

Weird, but fun. Weight of 1.0 means it can be used on pretty much any build. Can be used as an offhand weapon for the poison, range/spread, and stun or two-handed as an actual weapon if you need to range/AoE. You can offhand the Poison Hand to get its poison buff or use a weapon with the Poison Flower AoW to reset the poison. The skill is awkward, but it will pretty much instantly poison anything.

                                    Physical damage

Use mushroom hat + rot talisman + new poison fist in offhand ( all increase attack power when something is poisoned ) + lucky dancer charm + perfumer talisman + axe talisman or the new talisman that boosts charging/running attack and either and run around spreading the joy of pestilence and poison using either heavy attack or running attack, enjoy.

or something like the erdtree great shield and combination with "set yourself a flame" incantation. cant remember but there was something using self poisoning.

Wasnt there some insane kind of buff when you poision yourself? Cant remember what it was but im sure i saw a video with some self poisoning to get the buff (throught multiple poision mist cause there was no other way before). maybe thats the point of this thing. hmm....

When comparing this to other poison sources you need to remember that this applies deadly poison, not regular poison.
Deadly poison sources are few, and all have their drawbacks.

                                          • Anonymous

This weapon sucks real bad, the AoW should not poison yourself but it does. The biggest problem is despite poison scaling over 100, it takes many hits just to poison even godrick soldiers. It should fit in a niche of low damage but near instant poisoning. Bump the poison value to 180+ like Colosal weapons at 60+ arcane and it will more than make up for the low damage. Pvp crybabies can eat a bolus (literally).

It is however a very cool looking weapon so use it for style points and role playing.

                                            • Anonymous

Despite having higher AR than the Lightning Perfume, it does less damage because it’s physical.

But holy crap do Perfumes stagger hard. It’s like a weird slow elemental-AoE fist type of weapon. It’s definitely a weird weapon.

But if you’re high ARC/low DEX, this is still a decent secondary weapon due to the AoE effect/stagger. The lingering hitboxes + stagger makes it possible to throw up a wall of damage that enemies walk into.

The L2 self-poison kind of sucks, but does work well with Mushroom Crown and Kindred Rot Talisman for a large damage boost.

Perfumer’s Talisman is mandatory for the damage boost too.

It’s not a bad weapon. You can backstab an enemy, 2H-charge this, and it’ll catch the enemy when they get up.

Great for mobs and large enemies, but it’s really rough on bosses. If you’re already a DEX/ARC build, you have much better options.

This thing sucks. Normal attacks take 100 hits to proc poison, ash of war procs poison on user, scaling sucks

                                                • Anonymous

Does 517 physical damage and 111 poison build up at 80 dex 80 arcane.

Very poor for the stat allocation, should've been that damage and poison level at 50 dex 60 arcane. Dex weapons infused with poison at those stats get better damage, higher build up, with faster attacks. Needs a buff in damage or allow the softcaps to be reached at lower stats.
