How can this slot in storm stomp but not hoardrost stomp or Divine beast's????
- Anonymous
Hope they nerf the str requirement. Too high for no str scaling.

If you want an offhand way to proc frost for the def debuff just put chilling mist on an offhand dagger and it will proc way faster than this

Man, this thing needs some help. It's got low stagger, attacks almost as slow as a greatsword, requires insane amounts of stat investment to get worthwhile damage out of (at least compared to firespark), and procs frostbite slower than the majority of cold infused weapons could. The only things I could say in favor of it is that sometimes the mutiple projectiles help with groups or hit enemies multiple times and that the damage is pure magic. I think, at bare minimum, these need to have 120 frost buildup (not a resistances expert, so the ideal number is probably different), since many weapons get 105 when infused and this seems to be more of a status focused weapon compared to firespark. The increase could make this a more viable offhand for sorcerers to proc frost compared to just slapping chilling mist on a longsword and swapping off.
All that said, I do think that the moveset on these is interesting. If it had more range I think I would try using it for fun more, but as it stands it reaches almost the same length as my epee and is less useful than being able to cast spells from my offhand when I need them urgently.

Ok I am blind. I just posted how it wasn’t there in the room, it’s a little further inside the room on a corpse and looks like a normal item (doesn’t glow purple). It is, in fact, in the room as stated here.
- Anonymous
I went to the area and it’s not there. Watched a video on it to be sure, from several sources. The bottle is not in the room behind the jar innards enemy.

There's something up with the MV and proc for frost on these, tested on my friend and the frost proc is less than a cold long sword with 50 int

I am desperately trying to make any perfume bottle work but just can't manage it. Is there a single perfume in this game that is viable as a main weapon?
- Anonymous
How does a cold bottle of perfume have better magic defence than every single other weapon not including shields?
- Anonymous
Is the Chilling and Deadly Poison worth upgrading if you just want the status effects? How does that work?
- Anonymous
Pitiful frost buildup considering the alternatives like icecrag, Zamor ice storm, ranni's dark moon, frost pots/arrows/bolts. literally ANY weapon with the cold affinity or cold AOW does the same and better.
It's only saving grace is that it's pure magic damage even then it's gimped by mediocre saleing and pure dex, pure int and dex/int builds haveing better sources of magic damage at their disposal.(sorcery and magic/cold aow)
- Anonymous
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the second slowest frostbite weapon in the game despite it being called the chilling perfume.
It's gimmick is meant to be applying frostbite, yet every other frostbite infused weapon does it better.
I hate the balancing.

Ranni's bath water.
Or her sweat.
So yes, it's 100000% worthy a try.

How is it this that I have 72 Int with this weapon having a higher C scaling in Int than Dex, yet I still can't break past 200 AR from the Int alone (257 + 196 with 72 Int and 19 Dex)
- Anonymous
100%ed the game on Ng7 no problem, now I'm on Ng8 and can't find a copy of this bottle. I went there and the corpse that holds it has no item on it as if it was an already collected cookbook or something. This is a glitch I assume since it's the only bottle I'm missing a copy of.

Thinking of using these on a pure int sorcerer build as a non fp alternative, maybe with endure on it for pvp and poise casts. Surely not a terrible idea or what do you guys say?

The extremely low frost buildup makes no sense considering you are throwing powdered frost at the enemy

The fact that I can infuse any infusable weapon in the game with Cold to deal both more damage and a baseline minimum of 105 Frostbite buildup makes me sad. Hoping we see an increase in buildup in the coming patches.

At a weight of 1, this is easily the lightest way to get an ash of war in your main hand. Combine it with an incantation seal and you can finally rp an empty(ish)handed mage switching between three different art of wars without adding on a bunch of weight.
- Anonymous
Am I wrong in feeling these are extremely underrated? Since they're pure magic they get a bigger overall AR boost from magic scorpion and magic tear than typical magic weapons with split damage, throw in the debuff from moon spells and then frost to top it off then their DPS is absolutely ridiculous.
- Anonymous
Definitely the best PvP perfume, lightning one deals slightly more initially but this one deals more once you apply frostbite.
- Anonymous
Really wish the rolling sparks or wall of sparks aow would proc a big faster. I did some testing on banished knights, and I had to throw out the aow 4 times to proc frost, the heavy attack procs frost in 3. Might as well put chilling mist on a dagger in your offhand of you want a quick and light way to proc frost on enemies. Unfortunate, since I like the moveset and esthetic of the perfume bottles. And it would be a great utility for a pure Dex build. Though the damage is more for s Dex/int build it seems.

Don't sleep on this. It's essentially catch flame for mages, but no FP cost and on your off-hand.
I also like it with beast claw for raging beast zoomies, specially in pvp. You think You're safe if you try controlling the distance? THINK AGAIN.

Is this thing viable with minimum int investment? I want to use all the perfumes on my dex/arc character

This thing was really fun, the perfume attack really fits the wizard playstyle. I never liked the look of holding 2 staves. Rolling sparks is really good but with this perfume it's not as busted as the thunder one. There was still enough challenge to enjoy the game. Sadly when they nerf the ashe of war the thunder one will likely be balanced and this perfume will be weak.

At 25 these have a C/C scaling, Magic damage only. They are incredibly worse than moonveil.

"Ahh yes... give me that, Dior Sauvage eau the parfum, with this one we won't be maidenless anymore..."

Perfumer's talisman boosts damage like all the perfume bottles, and the magic-scorpion charm works as well because it's pure magic damage (the scorpion charm boosts ALL magic damage done by you). You can also use the Axe talisman and Spiked tear to really amp up the R2 explosions, but I don't believe the winged sword talismans will trigger at all.
- Anonymous
These things are pretty bad for status. At +24 when off handing it against the omen in the subterranean shunning grounds it took 9 hits to frostbite. 2 charged heavies would frostbite if you dont get unlucky with the explosions but honestly you could just do it in 1 with chilling mist. On my dex build I have been really wanting an offhand way of getting frostbite quickly but unfortunately this is not it.

are there any talismans that work to boost the damage? I know the perfumers talisman works, but do any other ones?

Atm this page says it cant be given ashes of war but it in fact CAN be. Its just stupidly vague which ones can. So far Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker and beasts roar can be put on it from what i can see.
