Domain of Dragons Painting is an Info Item in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Info Item in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Tutorial items provide information about how to add Skills to your Weapons, Crafting advices, Combat tips, and more. They can be obtained through exploration and looting, dropped by specific Enemies or Bosses, or purchased from NPCs
Work of a wandering artist. Reminiscence of a painting titled "Domain of Dragons." This painter is said to have captured the landscapes seen during the last moments of those welcomed into death's embrace. The soul of the painter, and vestiges of the dead's last moments can be discovered by visiting the location depicted even now.
Where to find Domain of Dragons Painting in Elden Ring
- Item is found at the Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Location]
- Upon defeating the Golden Hippopotamus, proceed to the bridge of the main plaza where you'll encounter Vulgar Milita enemies and burning boats that are lined up. Check the east side of the bridge to find a ladder that you can climb down to the underground area of the Shadow Keep's main plaza. (The ladder is next to a body that you can loot that has a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot item.)
- After climbing down, you'll see a waterfall next to it, go through the waterfall to find a room that has another ladder. Climb down the ladder and you'll find a small store room that contains an item, the Domain of Dragons Painting.

Elden Ring Domain of Dragons Painting Tutorial Guide
The Domain of Dragons Painting puzzle is solved by traveling to the Jagged Peak Mountainside site of grace and following a path south-west from the grace, across rugged terrain. Instead of proceeding South for the level, take the spiritspring to land slightly west and find a spot where the storm clears up. Rewards you with the Rock Heart item that allows you to transform into an Ancient Dragon. See the location in the Shadow of the Erdree Map

You don't need to beat the hippo. I just ran around from the back entrance and down from the first floor grace. The ladder down is on the left after the elevator.

I just got this by accident without doing this puzzle…I just climbed south on the rocks by the side of grave and the chair was empty…I tried to climb further up but was blocked by an invisible wall…when I came back down the guy was in the chair and I got it.

Where do we find the painting? It’s the only one not yet on the map
Alright, the painting spot for this one is absolute bullsht. The game seriously expects you to find the spot with only background elements as reference... in the only area with no clear view of the background whatsoever. And lemme just say that for having spent 2 hours roaming and double checking the entirety of the area below it, the angle of the picture doesn't help either, as even some ground locations around the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion can match it, and with an actual clear shot of the sky to boot. Thank you FromSoft, very cool.
