Marika's Hammer is a Hammer in Elden Ring. The Marika's Hammer scales primarily with Strength and Faith and is a good Weapon for heavy attacks that deal holy damage.
Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.
The hammer partially broke upon shattering the Ring, becoming splintered with rune fragments.

Would be cool to have a strong attack that makes you leave some Holy damage ground effects, flying WAY HIGHER to not get hit and slam down, and to thrust while running.
It fits the whole theme of Radagon fight

here's an idea that they'll never do:
lower its strength scaling to a C, but add the effect that the erdsteel dagger and blessed weapons from ds3 had, their physical damage scales with faith as well.

This weapon truly feels like a Gods weapon. The Sacred Relic sword feels strong, too, but I wish the SR sword had a higher base faith scaling. This, however, is genuinely perfect around the board (in my eyes).

Putrescent Knight before St. Trina thought he was going to ice-burn me, but then I used the breaker, safely suspending mid-air, and finished him off with almost 7K damage in a single hit. Top 3 coolest W I had over 1500 hrs gameplay.

This hammer should have gotten a unique shockwave attack with every charged heavy, which is slightly smaller and deals less damage than the ash of war

Great main game great in dlc cool
Ability, wish it had better move set tho, at least it oneshits radagon and three shots Elden beast!

Switched from Darkmoon GS to Marikas Hammer and killed Gaius first try, while I had no chance with the Darkmoon GS with many tries. I love the acceptable damage output with the great weapon art and the faster attack speed with still some good potential to stagger.
Just fits better to my fighting style.

****, I just got a really funny idea for a moveset change instead of the hypothetical shockwave R2s.
You know that one move Radagon does at mid-range where he glides towards you really quickly and does a lariat-esque bonk with the hammer?
Give this a charged R2 that lets you do something like that, akin to the Iron Cleaver but with further range.
I would bet that it would scare the hell out of some people in duels.
Based on how radagon uses this, it should have AoE on every animation the character does, even walking

Finally got to live out my warhammer fantasy warrior priest dreams with this and the Black Steel Greathammer in DLC. Managed to beat Radahn Consort with Marika's hammer
- Anonymous
You are my hammer and weapon of war: with you I shatter nations.
- Anonymous
My first time beating Messmer was with this Hammer. I was struggling then I remembered that he wanted his mother attention so I gave him just that and beat him the next try. Just keep bonking him like Marika used to and there were nothing he could do
- Anonymous
For something that has smashed the Elden Ring it does suprisingly mid damage even with hitting its softcaps (yes I know holy damage and so on...). I wish they would´ve at least increased the poise damage on the AoW like come on this thing has enough power to smash that onion ring!

Anyone ever mention that this hammer look like the shadow erdtree yet? I couldn’t read all the comments…

If this thing can be reforged in the dlc or something to that nature, it would be so sick. I like it normally though! Got this using the Elden rememberable my first playthrough, kinda like it more than the Greatsword to be honest. Wish it was a bit flashier though

Sitting here with my son testing this out at +9 and Gold Breaker was doing 5900 damage to an albanauric and then upgraded to +10 and now only does 5500 damage to the same albanauric! I even used the same Physick, talismans, and Golden Vow.
- Anonymous
base physical damage should be increased and strength scaling should be at least A at like +10. it is fun to use but has split holy damage and strength scaling isn't when b ain't doing it too much favors.
- Anonymous
Of all the hammer weapons in the game, this one deserved a unique moveset
- Anonymous
The weapon of goddess supreme can barely manage a B scaling. Pathetic.
- Anonymous
This weapon sucks. Even the l2. What a disappointment. Telegraphs with the stupid jump to be useless in PVP. Super ez to avoid.
- Anonymous
criminally underrated and yet criminally ignored by the devs. please make this thing better. (and give it better than a D in scaling, what is that???)
and make it do the golden aoe slam that radagon does instead of just the AoW!!!!!

yet another weapon that could've been more than just an l2 weapon reduced to being just an l2 weapon, gg devs
- Anonymous
Would be funny if it got a guaranteed poise break on anything If used when you're at full fp/hp
- Anonymous
I wish all the charged R2s that hit the ground would have the holy AOE that Radagon does in the fight
- Anonymous
I am so, so, so disappointed by this. The charged heavy attacks/jumping heavies should've created the golden AoE explosions that Radagon does when he uses it, and the AoW should've been that gigantic triple wave slam attack that Radagon uses against you. You had to beat the final boss of the game to get this, for god's sake, let us have an overpowered PvE weapon to play around with like the Albinauric Genocide Sword.
I just started busing this but blood flame blade won't work on it. Any idea why?

Best used with evony horn for ranged and close quarters battles

I would absolutely love it if Shadow of the erdtree would take place in the lands of Numen.
It would be SO FREAKING COOL

I used this very weapon to keep Melenia stun locked and poise broken.damn fin weapon she got maybe one hit on me while I was recovering my fp

Does this AoW count as a jump attack? Do raptors feathers increase damage?

Good poise breaking mace but the ashes of war on this weapon leaves you very vulnerable.
- Anonymous
I find the description on this weapon very interesting- it directly states marika broke the elden ring with and radagon then attempted to use it to repair it. It’s heavily implied that marika and radagon became one/are one. So why did he attempt to repair it?

I always underestimate just how far you leap forward with Gold Breaker.

- Anonymous
Wish it was a little bigger like about the size when Radagon smashes you to tiny pieces with it also it would be cool if had a smashing move set where all of its attacks were AOEs pretty much just like the fight
- Anonymous
this weapon makes me feel powerful. hits hard, ash of war is dope as hell
- Anonymous
I actually like this weapon, at least for PVE. It does decent damage and the skill is nice (again, for PVE). I feel like the main thing it needs is more range. Doing split holy damage is also unfortunate because so many of the late game bosses resist it, but that’s a separate problem with holy damage. Hopefully it does receive some subtle buffs (like more range) and holy damage is better in the DLC, since it would be nice to use it for that.
- Anonymous
The "simple dodge backwards and followup light attack" should be Radagons forward ~no heals~ jump, the 3 uncharged-uncharged-charged heavy 2handed combo should be given a small AoE with little damage but high poise-damage aaand the jump 2hand heavy should get the same; but all around you in a like 3m radius. Then and only then would this weapon be good enough to represent Radagons moveset. Love it tho, good moveset, just needs some love (litany of proper death is a good example to the AoE i imagine on these attacks, just some spice)
- Anonymous
As much as powerful weapon art is, the first time I saw Radagon using it I almost laughed to death while denying his every hammer aoe attack just by parrying it.
- Anonymous
Remember when the way your character used a weapon actually resembled the way the enemy you got it from used it? This weapon could have at least caused little aoes with heavy attacks, like the ruins greatsword.
- Anonymous
While not great for PvP as others have mentioned, the AoW does great damage against clustered targets. It's also very useful for crossing gaps while exploring or in dungeons.
- Anonymous
Having a blast using this weapon. Slept on it for a long time until I remembered some obscure youtube video claiming how fun it was. Seems like enemies have a tough time breaking my stance while I'm just starting up the weapon art and throughout. I love how you can spin in the air to locate you're target and redirect your slam if needed. Almost assured to knock the enemy on it's ass and you can spam it quickly in order to keep them down.
- Anonymous
did anyone see on the game files on the weapon ID 11160000 has a different version of this hammer named "Father Marika's Hammer" ???
- Anonymous
So as of Elden Ring patch 1.04.1, on Playstation, the guard boost of Marika's hammer is bugged. And while I don't understand whats causing it, this screenshot at least documents its existence. Unclear if the bug is merely visual, or demonstrative during gameplay. If reproducible on both Xbox and PC, the wiki should be updated to reflect this information.

A weapon that F*** me up when used by enemy and also F*** me up when I used it.

Good damage, but overall weapon art sucks in PvP. It lacks Radagon's lingering AoE hitbox after slam that could rollcatch people, and the recovery is LOOOONG. Only use if you wanna get backstabbed by any competent player.
And for PvE... It's ok, but 13 out of 15 bosses are resistant to holy damage that this deals, along with plethora of other enemies. Normal mace will serve you much better, really. More versatile, can be infused, more variety when it comes to Ashes of Wars...

this thing fun as heck to use, despite the 3 second skill casting in the air. hits like a mf too, with the tracking

Relic Sword and Marika's hammer both seem like they're equally good in AoW.

Honestly wish this thing got the cool ass triple slam radagon does would have made sense with the skill name gold breaker
- Anonymous
Shame this is such a late-game weapon. Quite literally the last weapon you can get before NG+ unless you rush the story before optional boss. This became an absolute unit of a weapon in 1.04. The weapon art is an AoE powerhouse that hits for +2k damage against most bosses and can't be staggered out. Very useful in conjunction with Aspect of the Crucible Incantations like the horned shoulder charge. Ain't no Rivers of Blood, but a solid all-around weapon with great lunge range mobility. 7/10 PvP. 8/10 PvE.

Too bad this isn’t a great hammer. It’s size makes it feel weak and I like how heavy the great hammers feel along with their movesets for both single handed, double handed and dual wielding. Sad it isn’t a bigger weapon

After the 1.04 buffs this weapon’s AoW is unreal, does like 2-3k damage against most bosses (at 50 str/50fai) and you basically can’t be staggered out of it.
- Anonymous
Really **** considering all that Radagon does with it and we don't even actually get anything from him. Maybe if it came with his grab instead of that jump but nah. Any on of the spells he actually uses would have been a million times better.
- Anonymous
The endlag on the weapon art is so nice now. Previously, if you killed your opponent with the weapon art, it took so much time to recover that you couldn't drink your flask and get the refill, but now you can drink twice and refill.
- Anonymous

Don't bother to go to ng+ for double wielding this, this weapon just sucks PvP and PvE.
Wasted my life time so you don't must do it.
- Anonymous
Is this good as a pure faith weapon or is STR/FAI the way to go? The blasphemous blade's WA scales only off faith so maybe this one's does too?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Weapon art is cool idea but needs some balancing. It either needs to cost way, way less FP, have quicker cast time, fly farther, or alternatively have much wide AOE. As it is now it's an all around worse version of sacred relic's golden wave.

Level 150, just finished my first playthrough as Faith 50/Str 40 and this thing slaps. The art of war is slow, but it poises through just about everything so far and hits like a truck (about 1.5k with standard gear, not damage boosting). Considering it is damn near unavoidable, 1.5-2k hits aren't bad at all. Fun weapon, and great r1 damage also. Only complaint is its fugly. Looks like someone poured cement on a rune arc.
- Anonymous
Sort of wish the weapon art did the move Radagon has where he slams the hammer down three times making conal shockwaves. Unfortunately, this one's is just too slow and blatantly telegraphed; you have to pray someone trades into it and there are a lot of more powerful abilities/weapons that you can trade with. I absolutely love how it looks though, and it should glow more when you use the weapon art.
- Anonymous
Not sure what there is to like about this thing. I dont think its bad but ive never seen anyone take damage from the weaponart even once.
Another case for a weapon you get from the final boss being sub par to irrelevant. Just like the good ol gwyns greatsword or the firelink sword. Im sure theres some incredible high level strength faith wombo combo thing you folks can pull off with stat investment, and thats good for you. Im never gonna touch it tho.
- Anonymous
There should be an ending that can only be achieved in NG+ where if you hit Marika with her hammer you can continue to shatter the Elden Ring until it is completely destroyed.
- Anonymous
I was thinking this was gonna be **** because all the flying spells / AoW so far just knocks you out after one hit, but this one you actually have a lot of poise while in the air and the damage is not bad. The only thing bad about it is the AoW is slow so even if you can poise thru attacks, youre gonna take a lot of hits. Still, if youre going to craft anything out of the Elden Remembrance, prioritize getting Sacred Relic Sword first, but this one is quite good too.
Now, if only other flying spells / AoW had the same poise as this one *cough* Scarlet Aeonia *cough*
- Anonymous
Since bonus damage is dependant on base damage (per type), this weapon actually scales better with dex than faith. Sounds crazy, but try it out.
- Anonymous
Love this thing. At first i didnt want to use it due to its looks but when the damags is so good the hammer just grows on you
- Anonymous
item description on this hammer completely changes the scenario in my head regarding this game. so, after realizing that the erdtree and elden beast is the parasite in the world she tried to destroy the ring; while her other self radagon tried to restore it using same hammer.

Dual wielding these at +10 for my NG+3 it’s a blast super fun very powerful special ability just smacks great poise while in the air and guaranteed knockdown almost

Just been listening to Kendrick’s new album while farming invaders at the first step. They never know what’s coming until I leap into the air and heedlessly smash them down into the crust of the earth. This is a fun weapon.
