Enia or Finger Reader Enia is an NPC in Elden Ring. Enia is an ancient woman, wielding a massive club. She is known as the Finger Reader. Enia can help the player draw out the power that lies within a remembrance of a powerful deity. Enia is different from the nameless Finger Readers that you meet in different areas, Enia seems to know you, but for the Finger Readers, their interests pique as they try to read what is written on your fingers. Enia also serves as a direct interpreter of the Two Fingers, envoys to the Greater Will.
The Fingers guide us all. And you Tarnished, you are here to take, are you not?
Enia Location in Elden Ring
Enia can be found at Roundtable Hold as a merchant. She will be in the room with the Two Fingers, which can be accessed after defeating a Shardbearer.

Enia Shop: Power from Remembrance in Elden Ring
You can draw out heroic powers from memories, known as Remembrances. Note that each memory can provide one power. Once that power is claimed, the memory is lost. Note that Remembrances can be duplicated at a Walking Mausoleum. Only one remembrance may be duplicated per mausoleum, and only one time. Using this method makes it possible to obtain both powers from the same remembrance, in the same playthrough. You cannot obtain two copies of a power in the same playthrough.
- Shadow of the Erdtree added Remembrance Duplication Coffins which function the same as the Mausoleums, they fulfill the same role, but unlike their base game counterpart, they are not guarded nor do they move in place.

Dialogue in Elden Ring: Enia
Are you the new Tarnished?
You've done well.
I am Enia, the Finger Reader.
I interpret the words of the Fingers,
envoys to the Greater Will.
Look there.
The Fingers tremble.
To welcome you, shardbearer.
Let their wisdom wash over you.
Great Elden Ring,
root of the Golden Order.
Anchor of all lands,
giver of grace,
wellspring of all joy.
Until it was shattered.
The tragic corruption of the Order has taken its toll.
Across the realm, life lies in ruin.
Fallen to pieces.
Foul curses and misery spread, unabating.
But the Greater Will has not abandoned the realm,
nor the life that inhabits it.
So it is that the Tarnished are guided by grace.
Called to act.
Brave Tarnished,
your Great Rune is a handsome shard of the Elden Ring.
Seek another of its kind.
To become Elden Lord,
and restore the Golden Order.
Let the words of the Fingers guide you
When visiting after obtaining a Remembrance
- "Well, well...I see...A remembrance of gold has found its way into your possession. Demigods, and even the greater of the champions, are hewn by the Erdtree upon their end, into remembrances. They are...valuable indeed. These remembrances yet house the power of their former masters. And should you wish to wield that same power, well... I will lend you the strength of the Fingers. Heh... Do not recoil from my offer. The Fingers guide us all. And you Tarnished, you are here to take, are you not?"
§When asked about Great Runes
- "Ahh, Great Runes are the stuff of demigods: the children of the goddess, Queen Marika. She who is vessel of the Elden Ring. Tainted by the strength of their runes, her children warred, but none could become Elden Lord. And so grace was extended, to your kind, the Tarnished".
- "Listen, the Fingers speak. "The Greater Will has long renounced the demigods. Tarnished, show no mercy. Have their heads. Take all they have left." ...Indeed. But remember one thing. The demigods are each and all the direct offspring of Queen Marika. Godrick the Grafted was but a distant relation... The runt of the litter, his divine blood sorely diluted".
§After obtaining two Great Runes
- "I had my doubts, but...my, look at you. Only once before have I seen two Great Runes together.
Look there. The Fingers shudder with exuberance.
"Fine work, brave Tarnished. The Greater Will is pleased. You have earned the right to become Elden Lord.
Now, seek the Erdtree, and an audience with Queen Marika. To become Elden Lord, and restore the Golden Order."
The Fingers expect... As much from you as they do young Gideon.
Take this. A token of farewell.
[Supplies Talisman Pouch]
Now, go forth. Become Elden Lord."
§When asked about Queen Marika
- "Queen Marika is the vessel of the Elden Ring, carrier of its vision.
A god, in truth. But after the Elden Ring's shattering, she was imprisoned in the Erdtree.
A grim punishment for shattering the Order, despite her godhood. The Fingers speak...
"Marika's trespass demanded a heavy sentence. But even in shackles, she remains a god, and the vision's vessel.
Confer Great Runes to become Elden Lord, and join Queen Marika as her consort. The Fingers have willed it so"
Now, you may go."
§When visiting after obtaining the Rold Medallion
- "Well, you managed to return.
You know what this means. The Erdtree has spurned you.
The Fingers remain still.
Shaken by this turn of events, they are busy consulting the Greater Will.
When they are finished, the Fingers will once again offer their guidance.
But thousands, if not tens of thousands, of moons must first pass.
No matter for me. But you? How will you ever manage the wait...
My, oh, my..." - "It may be thousands upon thousands of moons before the fingers again offer their guidance.
My, oh, my. Whatever will you do..."
§When asked about burning the impenetrable thorns
- "Heavens forbid... That is not the domain of mere men.
The burning of the Erdtree is the first cardinal sin.
And you say you seek power of the Rune of Death, too?
The Rune of Death goes by two names; the other is Destined Death.
The forbidden shadow, plucked from the Golden Order upon its creation...
Unleashing the rune now would be unthinkable...
The Fingers would never permit it. Nor would the Greater Will.
... But here we are... The Fingers, dormant, severing our link to the Greater Will.
The realm, and all life, in ruins. Impossible events transpire, beyond the ken of the Fingers.
Who is to say that the cardinal sin must be cardinal forever?
Go on. Finish the job. Take the course you deem most worthy."
§When asked how to burn thorns
- "You must find kindling. Only the smoldering flame in the Great Forge of the Giants,
on the highest peak in the Lands Between, can burn the Erdtree.
But special kindling is required to reignite the flame.
For the flame to burn the Erdtree, a sacrifice is needed. Of one who envisions the flame.
And can lead you to the Rune of Death."
After accessing Crumbling Farum Azula
- "You've done it, I see.
What use do you have for me, now?
I am a Finger Reader. I will remain here, until their dialogue ends, and the Finger speak again.
Do as you please. Take whatever course seems most worthy to you.
Now, you may go." - "Heh, heh, heh.
You'd force this tired old crone to work, even now?
A harder taskmaster I have never met." - "Don't worry, my dear.
I'll see it to the end with you, if it please."
Leaving
- "Now, go forth. Let the words of the Fingers guide you".
- (After accessing Crumbling Farum Azula) "Now, go forth. Do what you believe is right."
After completing Crumbling Farum Azula
- Cutscene narration:
"The Rune of Death is unbound,
and the Lands Between are shrouded by Death's dark fate.
But the flames will also burn the impenetrable thorns.
Farewell it is, then.
You'll be Elden Lord yet." - Enia will no longer have any further dialogue at the Roundtable Hold, but will still redeem your remembrances and sell boss armors.

The yapper of elden ring. Seriously, I just want to get some weapons and I have to keep spamming X to get through what feels like 25 hours of dialogue everytime. Burn the tree folks, she dies and stfu for once.
- Anonymous
"Now that you bought my whole shop, there's something new you can buy yet, my virginity. The price is 150K and you need to have killed Soldier of God, Rick to be able to buy it." The item would be a consumable that deadly poison you for the rest of playthrough and adds +69 flat standard damage to your attacks and +90 deadly poison build up for all your weilded weapons.

It's funny how you can interact with her corpse and buy things. I like to imagine the equipments are there along with their requirements info for you buy them. Then your char go there, takes what it wants and put the payment near the corpse as a act of justice. You pay even if the merchant is dead. Very honest.
- Anonymous
Imagine if she had unique dialogue when you give her Metyr's remembrance
"Let the words of the fingers gui- what the **** you killed my bosses' mom"
- Anonymous
i hate that the dlc is self contained, if there's any knowledge you could bring back from it and tell characters the truth about the world they thought they knew, she absolutely deserved to know about metyr's existence and the complete lie the fingers have been pedaling since day 1

reminds me of my beloved babooshka, bet she cooks killer borscht

Wait, she said "Only once before have I seen two Great Runes together", so does that mean someone else got Great Runes before us? Who? Which ones?
- Anonymous
You know, I actually found it really sweet when she told the tarnished to follow whatever path they find the most worthy, really a wholesome show of trust, especially from someone directly connected to the two fingers and the greater will.

My favorite thing about the wiki is that you can now search “skateboarding grandma” and this page will pop up
- Anonymous
'The npc can't move' but in my game she's not in her usual seat. Can anyone explain?
- Anonymous
She is the radical skateboarding grandma in this game. Burn the tree? Sure. Disobey the fingers? Absolutely. Cardinal sin and murder? Nobody is stopping you. Need boss weapons? Take ‘em. She’s the type of grandma that tells you to beat the life out of any bullies.

When the finger readers say ,” may the fingers guide you”, they are talking about the fingers of the player grasping the controller. The two fingers represent either L1 & L2 or R1 & R2.
- Anonymous
She's like an old Fire Keeper that decided to grow a spine and say it how it is. Much respect.
- Anonymous
What happens if you get branded by the three fingers and then talk to her?
- Anonymous
Enia is badass. You tell her you want to burn the Erdtree and what does she say? "Ah, nice the fingers suck anyway right now, here's how to burn 'em. Cardinal sin? **** it." What a supportive and cool matronly character lol.
- Anonymous
I like her, she's not like the other Finger Readers who are just brainless pawns of the greater will, and just lets you do what you think is best without judging you or trying to argue.
- Anonymous
Perhaps you've seen it. Maybe in a dream. A murky, forgotten land. A place where grace may mend you're ailing mind.
You'll lose everything once branded. The symbol of the curse. An augur of death, spurned by grace.
Your past, your future, your very light. None of it will have meaning and you won't even care.
By then, you'll be something other than human. A thing that feeds off grace.
A tarnished

Kinda annoys me that her dialogue is the same regardless of which demigod you kill first...like killed Radahn first. "Godrick was but a distant relation." That's honestly a major text flaw.

**** ranni or fia or rya or anyone else, enia is true best girl.

Secret dialogue:
Is that a remembrence of my old cookbook?
...
Ahhh, please, might I have it? Thus forth I can make lovely cookies for all who sit at the Roundtable.
- Anonymous
after defeating godrick and radahn she really said "fingers say you can go become elden lord and smooch marika. go on." Like damn I just killed 2 of her kids
- Anonymous
GOAT for the whole journey. Literally just tells you what you need to do, gives you boss weapons, doesn't give a **** about your choices, and sees it with you til the end
- Anonymous
Easily the best homie in the game. I so want to see someone animate her "My oh my, whatever will you do"
- Anonymous
So I am apparently stuck with the Two Fingers/Gideon quest. I have obtained the 1st great rune and moved to Liurnia extensively enough, entering Raya Lucaria yet not completing the dungeon. Still, Varré is stuck in Liurnia and keeps telling me that I have to talk with the Two Fingers, and Gideon's room doors are closed as well as the doors of Enia's room. This is my 4th playthrough and it's the first time this is happening to me. Any suggestions?
- Anonymous
I am playing the game slowly and just killed Morgott. Decided to talk to her about burning the Elden Tree. And I was stunned - EVEN SHE, the finger reader, servant of the Greater Will, thinks that this world is SO ****ed up that it needs reset, and it is OK to burn it.
- Anonymous
I love when she translates and does her little impression of the two fingers, using a mix of playful yet ominous voice :p
- Anonymous
Having a bug with the remembrances shop not appearing, any ideas?

- Anonymous
She's such a sweet grandma who always supports what you do. At first she goes from "Let the two fingers guide you." to "Do what you feel is right." after you started burning the erdtree.
- Anonymous
Why does she talk about Destined Death after getting the Rold Medallion? Melina only spoke about burning the Erdtree, not about the rune of death
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
I was told she has dialogue referring to Mohg and Morgott being sons of Godfrey and Marika does anyone know what it is?
or at least point me to the item that says such?
- Anonymous
Based granny! Manly tears were had when I went to visit her after Farum Azula, she's a true ally to the Tarnished until the end. "Do what you feel is right..."
- Anonymous
I remember that her dialogue changes a bit before she dies. Dunno the exact words but if you seek power from remembrance she says something like,
"Still using my services, what a harsh taskmaster you are"
And right before she dies she says something like
"Don't worry dear/lord, i'll support you as long as i can" or something
- Anonymous
She's that cool babushka who slips you a 20 and winks while you're dad is off on a tirade.
"The Fingers would never approve... but the Fingers ain't here are they?"
- Anonymous
How do i get talisman pouch from her if i've already burned erdtree? (twin maiden husks don't sell it)

I already defeated Godrick but I can't get to where she is, there is a white mist wall and I can't go into the room, any clues?

She does give a grandma vibe. Despite her duty, she still supports you. It really stings my heart after I beat the giant.
"Grandma, grandma! I got another rememberance, what cool boss weapon can I-"

Her comment about waiting for the fingers, imagine if you have to literally use the time mechanic and wait a thousand times for a way to unlock the tree without burning it

so pissed this ***** stole my talisman and sold it to someone else because I got too many great runes
- Anonymous
Wrong you can get her by acrivating the grace behind Stormveil Castle. You can literally unlock the roundtable hold and everything by looping around the back of the castle on a cliff and finding the lost grace there.
Are the armor sets gained by using "Recieve power of remembrance"? Because she doesn't offer any armors to me otherwise.

She also sells the Royal Knight set after defeating Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree.

I wonder what happens if we tell her the desire to burn the Erdtree down, I dont want to bc it might **** up the boss transposition stuff

I have beaten Godrick but she is still by the broken bridge and has the exact same dialogue option from the first time I met her. Also she does not appear in the roundtable hold. Does anyone know what the problem is?
- Anonymous
it seems if you dont talk to her before beating godrick she doesnt give you the talisman pouch?
- Anonymous
I talk to her on the bridge north of Stomhill, but I did it AFTER I killed Godrick and she never seems to move to the Hold no matter how many times I talk to her.
Also, the arrogant dude with the staff in his study also locked his doors after I beat Godrick. Very odd.
- Anonymous
Sorry, but hitting her on the bridge and she curse me then disappear. What to do?

After you beat Godrick you can go back to the round table. The door behind you should have opened now. I spoke with Enia at the bridge prior to defeating him.

I have Godrick's great rune activated and equipped but don't have access to her shop. Might be bugged
I think she has a different dialogue for each starting class, well haven't tested yet but when I chose astrologer she says something along the lines of: "oh, bless you... oh...ohh! Head to the foundation of gold, tarnished, traverse Raya Lucaria, Glintstone eventide. And reunite the half-crescents at the grand lift, oh but the bridge is collapsed and cannot be crossed. Oh! but why should that matter? Stormveil Castle still stands strong!"

where can i find her???? already beat Godrick , shes not in roundtable
