Remembrance of the Dragonlord is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
Remembrance of Dragonlord Placidusax, hewn into the Erdtree.
The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.
Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.
The Dragonlord whose seat lies at the heart of the storm beyond time
is said to have been Elden Lord in the age before the Erdtree.
Once his god was fled, the lord continued to await its return.

Remembrance of the Dragonlord use in Elden Ring
- Remembrance of the Dragonlord can either be traded for 30,000 Runes or handed to Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock its power.
- If the second alternative is chosen, the remembrance will supply the player with Dragon King's Cragblade or Placidusax’s Ruin. See Remembrance Weapons (Boss Weapons) for details.
- Remembrances can be duplicated at a Wandering Mausoleum. Only one remembrance may be duplicated per mausoleum, and only one time.

I somehow broke his grace sit. At this point I hadn't beaten him yet in this playthrough. So I was in the table hold and got stuck behind the pvp marika statue. As I was stuck I went to tp out. And I also needed ruins so I went to look at a azula grace sit to tp to. Then I noticed one I hadn't seen normally before. It was dragon lords grace sit. Out of wonder I went to it. Spawned in the boss fight. And thr boss loaded in above me and began the fight normally. In this run I hadn't gone to him ever. Not even to attempt him yet. Yet for some reason I got his grace sit which want visible during the fights. I think this could be useful for speed runs for all Remembeance. If I can duplicate it I'll let anyone know.

I was really hoping to duplicate this. I’m finding out now, after 300 hours, that apparently this one (and likely other non-demigod remembrances) can’t be duplicated if they’ve already been used to receive one of the rewards. So… I guess I have to wait until NG+ :(

It would be cool if we could get his bolt as a weapon, and it's weapon art was imbuing it with ancient dragon lightning, plunging it into the ground and then slamming it into the ground with a massive explosion just like Placidusax's nuke.

This is a mistranslation. According to u/Legitimate_Earth3795, Placidusax befriended (not was) the Eld Lord, who came BEFORE Marika and Godfrey. The Elden Ring came before the Erdtree.

It’s made pretty clear that Elden is a title given by the greater will. Everything in the game with Elden in it, directly relates to the greater will. Everything except this description.
Having an Elden anything before the Elden ring doesn’t make any sense.
If it was a different god the title would be different.
I truly think this is a mistake and they are just trying to make the point that this dragon ruled before the golden order.

Was he supose to be that easy ? I one shot him lvl 156 litteraly joke boss cold infused epee 3 full charged heavy get him on the ground then just spam r1 at his head till he gets up he was 40% after that disapered few times i just shielded all his attacks funny dragon ball moves... Then did another 3 full charged heavy and just hit the head when he was on the ground and he died...

Although Dragon King's Cragblade, and Placidusax's Ruin are inarguably ridiculously cool, i kinda wish we could get Placidusax's ancient dragon lightning nuke spear.

Maybe Godwyn is Placidusax's god? Placidusax spew golden breath (Placidusax's Ruin). The transition between red to gold is a sign of the transition of power to the erdtree/golden order (Gravel Stone Seal, Ordovis's Greatsword, etc.) And there are undead beastmen despite there shouldn't be, since they're no where near the ground where Godwyn could resurrect them.

I think Godfrey = First elden lord after erdtree and Placidusax = First elden lord before

This arena is kind of the worst of many worlds. The pillars serve to exploit the shitty targeting system that likes to break lockon the second LOS is broken for a frame; which means the sword is half up your ass before you can lock on and try to dodge proper.

This should not reward a ****ing Heavy Rapier. It should be a colossal sword!
I can't believe we get 4 shitty INT based collosal swords but not a single Dragon themed one despite this gaming having multitude of Dragons.
The greatsword and Colossal sword designs in this game are majority garbage.
