On horseback, feed to Torrent to restore HP. Useful as an alternative to consuming a Flask of Crimson Tears to restore Torrent's health.

at low level can cheese this with jelly spirit toxic build proc. Just make sure jelly stays alive, hit and kite and when toxic procs just go to other side of tree and wait.

They should make an estus flask for mounts that refills upon rest.
I don't think I fed one of these to the horse in like 200 hours, the flask also heals it so...
