Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear is a Crystal Tear in Elden Ring. Crystal Tears can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick to enhance its effect.
A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.
Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
The resulting concoction temporarily boosts the power of one's lightning attacks.

- You can find Crystal Tears at the bases of Minor Erdtrees and elsewhere throughout the Lands Between
- At sites of grace, you can mix two crystal tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick (This will allow you to create elixirs with various custom effects)
- Note: Patch 1.09: Effect reduced from 15% to 12.5% in PvP.
Does this boost only lightning based attacks or will it boost other effects like lightning infused weapons?

Tested with Dragon Halberd and Bolt of Gransax no damage boost with regualr attack.

This, scorpion charm, godfrey icon, shard of Alexander with bolt of gransax turns you into a FV215b lol

Tried this out hoping it'd increase my Electrify Armament buff... It did! By 12 measly points lol. From 500 to 512. I'm better off using Strength Knot, which at least sees a 37 point increase. FWIW this did work with Lightning Spear as expected, with the 20% increase . Don't know why Electrify Armament gets such a measly increase.

Does this boost lightning damage from buffs like Electrify Armament/Vyke's Dragonbolt? Or only directly damaging lightning spells?

this is crazy for my dragon kings craigblade weapon art it literally boosts its damage by 20% and you can use 2 of these for 40% more damage wich is crazy the buff lasts exactly 3 mins wich is basically 100% uptime for my entire invading time becuz i literally 1 shot everyone who gets hit by this weapon art my highest damage done was 2500 to some full sentinel tree set btw im level 80 only and my dex is only 67 so you can get even more damage if you invest 80 dex and 80 str

I tried this with the Ice Lightning Sword katana and it actually reduced my damage, there's a bug in the calculation there somewhere.
Additionally, the actual buff itself on "true" forms of lightning (not Ice Lightning for example) is actually extremely minor in my specific case using Honed Bolt and Electrified Armament. Another user claims a 20% boost in damage with Lightning Spear which I personally have not tested.

Tested it with lightning spear on some jellyfish: 527 without to 632 with. A nice 20% increase. And it lasts a really long time.
This, scorpion, godfrey charm, lord of bloods exultation, seppeku and jelly shield + flame, grant me strength and golden vow along with ancient dragon's lightning strike one shots every boss
