I wish they would add a pearl-shrouding cracked tear like the pearldrake talisman so it would slightly increase attack power of all non-physical attacks

Did they remove some crystal tears from the game? I swear there was one that increased your total HP and everyone was complaining that it sucked. Or wasn’t there one that raised the amount healed by flasks of crimson tears

MIssed 3 in this lis / this displayt but they are in description of items:
- 1 CRIMSON CRYSTAL TEAR (full in right)
- 1 CERULEAN CRYSTAL TEAR (full in right)
- 1 RUPTURED CRYSTAL TEAR

Incredulous that there isn't a Silver Crystal Tear that boosts discovery and a Gold Crystal Tear that boosts rune acquisition. Maybe they're saving it for DLC, but that would be kinda cruddy of them. We could get Symbol of Avarice in DS3 base game.
- Anonymous
An infinite stammina tear could be cool. Same as the infinite FP one. Or an FP regen one. Or a casting speed tear.
- Anonymous
Windy crystal tear "southeast of the nomadic merchant" ya there's multiple of those in caelid, so maybe a bad reference point. How about: south of Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank site of grace. Also mention its TWO birds guarding it, not one

How does the ruptured crystal tear work? also what use does making yourself explode have?
- Anonymous
The description for opaline hardtear is wrong. In my inventory and the grace mix pysik menu, it says boosts ALL damage negation in physik. I don't know if this tear has been messed about with in a patch since this page was last updated or added to, but since I've had it, the description has always been "temporarily boosts all damage negation in physik"
- Anonymous
Could someone lay these out in the order they appear in inventory, please?

I saw someone take like 70% less damage per hit wheres the crystal tear for that? I was level 247 aswell
Twiggy Cracked Tear is fantastic as Sacrificial Tears are difficult to come by. It only lasts about 3 minutes or so but it definitely helps.

An item discovery boosting crystal tear would have been nice of them to add. :)

Are we sure there is no arcane crystal tear ? there are crystal tears that boost every other stat

The name and design of crystal tears is a reference to Berserk chapter 98

In the "location area'" of the graph above there are double bullet points for all tears that have duplicate copies (meaning you CAN have 2 at one time in your inventory), except Purifying Crystal Tear ??? It's the only one that HAS 2 bullet points that doesn't have more than 1 copy... at least to my knowledge. Maybe it should be fixed/edited IF there is not more than 1 copy to avoid confusion.

I killed the avatar in the concentrated snowfields and got no tears, so am I not able to get one of the rupture and the thorny crystal tear?

i have to say that with the exception of mohgs bossfight i pretty much exclusively use this as an extra estus

No ring or tear matches dark wood grain ring or rusted iron ring even for 3 mins. Other effects do sort of make up for other rings and effect compounding correctly makes comet go brrrr. And lava isn't a thing anymore. So no orange charred ring needed, it is built into tarnished, however soap. But having to wear very specific clothes rings tears skills items for nuking with a a small subset of sorceries... I guess they had to put the brakes on somewhere magic is so op if used by a magician. I'm not that smart and fast, me hit magician with mace if they still long enough.
But really what i miss is stronger serpent rings. And the mimic head to go with it. And the Rapier/s. Max Discovery in DS3 was 614, 599 without DLC, right now the max discovery in Ring is 224 99+50+75, (not counting the leaves falling, and it is uncertain if leaves affect discovery or just souls) and it "seems" like some drops are more rare than in prior games. I had a pile of slabs from farming darkwraiths and I had, well have 300+ proof of concord kept and a hundred or so vertebra shackles all farmed avg 4/hour,
getting 1 cleanrot spear took me well over two hours going fast, and i was killing 8-10 cleanrot knghts (5 spear) in a go vs 3 silver knights or two skeletons. I respecced to 99 and a chicken leg so it wasn't great 149 discovery. Many things I have given up on at this point.
I don't think they should increase base drop rate, but they seriously need more options for increasing the modifier. The gold serpent ring in ds1 was 200 i.e 2%, symbol was also 200 but didn't stack in ds1, in ds3 they had less but everything stacked. They went backwards with Ring.
Also where is ring of the evil eye? its like 5 key talismans are missing.

Hmm. I'm missing a physical cracked tear. There is one for every form of elemental damage but not specifically for physical. But I guess that could end up in nobody ever using anything other in it's place. But would've been nice to have something to further boost physical sorceries and incantations. Especially the incantations. The Aspect of Crucible: Tail and Horn are pretty dope in pvp.

I wish there was a corrupted Tear rhat you could obtain from Mohg palace that would give you some sort of Blood enhancing effect. Perhaps all attacks apply a flat boost of 100 Bloodloss? Or applying Bloodloss during the duration heals you for 5% of your max HP? Maybe something defensive to even out PvP such as; "Lord's Blood has corrupted this Tear, twisting it to grant a resistance against the Blood that binds it.
Grants resistance against Bloodloss damage and slows it's buildup."
This would solve a vast majority of problems people have with PvP, including but not limited to RoB.

Being able to undercut DEX or STR to have more HP, defense, and poise out in the field is nice. 45 DEX+Winged Sword Insignia+DEX&Thorned Physicks is pretty nuts. Especially with power stances curved swords running and jumping attacks being 4 hits you quickly rack up the consecutive hits buffs.

Leaden Tear doesn't last as long as it takes to drink, what the hell is the point.

Is there anyway to print just the table? Im trying to make ti easier to cross off the tears I already have, So I can find the ones I need.

Twiggy Cracked Tear, thank you catching me when I’m not gud. Also Opaline + Crimson Tear, for when boss needs one more hit but they are spamming the cheap stuff

Why didn't they include a gradually restore FP knot in this? They have it for health and stamina
- Anonymous
It says there are 32 tears but only count 29 in the list. Am I missing something?
- Anonymous
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but these seem to be a direct reference to Berserk. In Chapter 82, during the Eclipse there is a panel in which Griffith's tears are crystalized.
"What's this...? The crystallization of your last tear shed.
When suffering so profound as to make someone rip himself apart is confronted... a heart is frozen."
The artwork very much resembles some of the Crystal Tears on this list. Just wanted to make sure it was known as one of the many tributes to Miura in this game.

Faith-Knot Crystal Tear is linking to Intelligence-Knot Crystal Tear

The Cracked tears and the Greenburst tear each last for 3 minutes which makes them an insanely good combination, buff your main dmg source by 20% and rapidly recover your stamina
- Anonymous
can someone add duration in with the chart maybe in between "usage" and "location" it would be very helpful
- Anonymous
I am pretty sure there is a problem here, on the interactive map it says that the ruptured tear is dropped by the Putrid Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in the Consecrated Snowfield, east of Ordina, Liturgical Town ( I just copied it), but it should be the thorny one. I also say that it says on the ruptured tear page that there are 2 locations. If I am wrong please tell me, thanks in advance if I am.

The Crimson Bubble tear is using the image for the Crimsonwhorl Bubble tear

Does someone with the ability to edit want to update this to say there's a total of 32 crystal tears in the description up top? Doubt most people want to go in and individually count to see if they have all of them.

I am surprised to see no arcane boosting tear like the ones for faith, dex, str and int

Do you lose or use up your tears when you mix them? Is there a way to get them again if you do?

Do you lose or use up your tears when you mix them? Is there a way to get them again if you do?

Use Oplaline Hardtear (boosts all dmg negation except physical for 3 mins) with Greenburst Crystal Tear (boosts stamina recovery for 3 mins) if your playstyle is cautious. Switch Oplaine Hardtear for Chrimsonwhorl Bubble (Converts all dmg except physical into health for 15 secs) if you're against mage/moonveil spammers.
Any 1 piece of Briar armor will pop the bubbletear on roll so roll R1 for full damage in pvp
- Anonymous
Kind of disappointed that there is no cerulean counterpart to the crimsonburst (FP recovery over time). Since there is nothing else I know of in the game that provides this effect it seems like they are avoiding it on purpose. Was offhand simple infusion broken in DkS3 or something? (I never pay attention to the meta)
- Anonymous
only good ones imo(for melee builds)
+10str/10 dex for 3 minutes, this combo with a dual uchigatana scaling in quality which makes them B scaling in both str and dex literally boosts ur dmg by 20 levels for 3 whole minutes.
+10% max hp for 3 min
breaking stance one would be op if it werent lasting for only 30 seconds.. you can maybe break stance twice in that time period, maybe 3 on rare ocasions.. same goes for the charge one and the consecutive attacks one,
Restores HP when near death in mixed physick, this one saved me vs malenia 1 shots, seems a lot better than the negation bubble one cause that will activate and pop even with a 10 hp hit for example, good but very situational
any other good ones you would add to the list? i only played melee so far, i imagine the negate fp usage for 10 seconds is prob overpowered for mages/skill spammers
- Anonymous
As far as I can tell, all crystal tear effects last 3 minutes

i'm level 50 and i still dont know how to make them work. how do you activate them? it doesn't say on the page. do you have to equip something?

was really REALLY hoping a cerulean-burst crystal tear existed for my bloodhound's-step build
I have 32 Tears - this list has 29 but it is correct.
Three are missing because:
1. Cerulean Crystal Tear and,
2. Crimson Crystal Tear have two halves with different icons,
3. Ruptured Crystal Tear, which you can have two as well (they both have slightly different icons)

How would you use this in a physick if it makes it explode? From what I can find on them, you drink physicks to provide effects on the player character. How would you use explosions in that? Or can you use the flask for offense as well?
THIS IS MISSING 2 CRYSTAL TEARS. PLEASE CORRECT THIS SOMEONE
