Grafted Blade Greatsword is a Colossal Sword in Elden Ring. The Grafted Blade Greatsword scales primarily with Strength, with minor scaling in Dexterity. With its heavy set stats and unique skill, this weapon was built to overcome larger beasts and foes it comes into contact with. This Greatsword can only be wielded by a worthy warrior and will require high Strength stats before it can be used.

The storied sword of Castle Morne. A revenger's weapon, it is burdened with oceans of anger and regret.
One of the legendary armaments.

A lone surviving champion from a country now vanished was so determined to continue fighting that he claimed the swords of an entire clan of warriors.

I sit my phat ass on my Gamer Throne and start to play Elden Ring while using this sword.

      Am I doing it right?

Boy howdy is this thing a monster. Start Vagabond. Level Str to 24. Grab Scarseal on your way to the misbegotten. Crush the game with impunity as you just walk up to bosses and tank everything. Need a bit of vig and endurance, but my goodness this is easier than being a mage or anything; love me some tanky poise boys

Grafted Blade GS needs representation. Clearly, it goes on a Quality Build (65/65) but it's a Monster. Don't disrespect it but doing that Skill & Swap maneuver.

I was so bad at this game until I started using this weapon. I couldn't beat the game solo using magic builds. I beat the game at level 80 with this weapon. The hyper armor and +5 to all stats makes you so overpowered, crouching R1 really helps too. Even in PvP this thing is a beast. I loved throwing people and the NPCs in the air with the 2nd heavy. Hands down my favorite weapon in the game

            • Anonymous

Arguably one of the best Colossal Swords in the entire game. The damage on it is insane and although the ash of war is pretty much endure, it allows you to tank through hits and gives you +5 to every stat which is great for buffs. It can be acquired early and is a somber weapon so you can get to +10 pretty fast. Also if you thought that this would be terrible in pvp, think again.

This Greatsword is good for trading: the ash of war gives a poise buff that lasts 5 seconds as opposed to "endure's" 3 seconds. Unfortunately it doesn't give you damage negation though.

                  • Anonymous

This was the only thing I could solo the DLC final boss with.
The crouch poke doesn't have great range, but the damage and poise buff are really helpful even at super high levels.

                    • 40 Str on the earliest real boss weapon whose AoW gives you stat buffs. It just seems so illogical. Make it 25 or even 30 base str, but making it 40 for when you get it in the game is just absurd. You'll be over level 30 by the time you can actually wield it...

                      • Anonymous

This sword is funny on madness builds, the increase in all stats pair well with the seal that scales in 4 different attributes, and the hyper armor into inescapable frenzy grab will get some people, lol.

                        • Anonymous

I didn't realize that on a strength build with minimal dex investment, this sword slightly outperforms a heavy infused greatsword in terms of damage. On 55 strength and 16 dex, this sword reaches 832 AR and the heavy greatsword reaches 826, when two handing.

Wait, holy ****, this is absolutely a Hornsent weapon. It's got the spiral motif on the hilt, tangled horn motif on the crossguard, and smushing together the blades of fallen enemies to create a more powerful weapon is textbook Hornsent ideology.

Honestly love this weapon against melee. The hyperarmor and damage negation makes killing easy. You won’t be interrupted on attacks and guard counters. Never died once again ones like the Omen that has hyper armor on certain movesets and can interrupt my attacks. With this weapon just use the skill and press attack and there is no way you will lose

Does the other effect of this weapon skill work the same as endure but just better? Basically, if I have the equipment load to support it, would this be better in my offhand than something with endure in all ways? I’m aware it lasts longer which is nice, but imo the best part of endure is the high damage reduction, does this sword also have that same damage reduction?

                                • Anonymous

Fond memories of beating Leonine Misbegotten on a blind playthrough with a Lordsworn GS and 16 Strength and wondering when I'd have the stats to use this pinecone-looking beast

                                  • Anonymous

The damage reduction is not equals endure in PVP (45% -> 20%)
                                    for balance I guess
Oath give you 5 sec poise duration and around 20% damage reduction in PVP (45% in PVE).
Endure give you 3 sec poise duration and 45% damage reduction both PVE and PVP.

Poise duration of 5 secondes, i'm the only one that through this **** is nuts ?
Put stick offhand and u're good for magic spamming
                                      I'll give a try soon

                                      • Anonymous

Early game monster. I highly recommend using this thing with two hands and getting your strength to 35. Using radagons soreseal to hit it early means you’ll be doing unethical damage in the early game. Late game use literally any other greatsword unless you plan on using this in your off hand for a jump attack build.

I use the weapon art when im too lazy to dodge. Just tank and unga bunga. Plus it comes with free levels.

just did a casual run with this thing. my only gripe is that it could've got like an a scaling on strength at +10 maybe but base damage it doesn't even matter.

                                            • Anonymous

probably top 3 of all the weapons

max out poise str end vig > L2 > leaping R2 > spam R1 through the prey's feverish desperate flailings laughing while they tickle your tummy > win

works from mourne to malenia. every enemy. every boss. without exception.

look. i get it. i love playing all the classes and builds. mages, skyrim stealth archers, stabby stabby assassins, whatever. but if youre speedrunning the game to collect stuff and get it done without any nonsense, this sword and its L2 turns elden ring into baby's first video game its so broken.

you can equip this sword , buff , de equip for +5 all stat buff 60 sec (cost 20fp).

                                                          • Anonymous

Made a good str/fai build around this sword. I started off as wretch. Get Godrick's Rune and have it up all the time. Using Oath of Vengeance with the Rune gives you +10 Str right off the bat. Then get the Str tear in your physick for another +10 Str. Talismans could use Starsourge Heirloom and Radagon's scar/soreseal for another +10 Str., totaling +30 in Str when everything is active. Then FGMS and Golden Vow for buffs. Big downside is the sword's weight early game. Could go pure Str and use perfumes for buffs.

I mean come on! It's got more edge per edge than any other sword!

So im using lusat's glintston and when i use the ability it Raises all my stats by 5 but my glintstone is actually doing less damage?

                                                                • Anonymous

                                                                  • Anonymous

Is it just me or is this thing BUILT to work well with frenzy incantations? The AoW gives you 20 more scaling points for frenzyflame seal since it scales with all attributes, the determination effect can be useful for inescapable frenzy and all the bonus defenses added from the AoW should let you tank and trade with things easier to get incants off.

                                                                    • Anonymous

bad weapon overall, it has good damage, but the move set especially for the heavy attack is really not that worth, for not speaking about the lack of range that hurts this weapon over all things.
as a tool how ever is really underapreciated, it literally gives you 40 levels for 20 FP, and it last for 60 seconds, a lot of things happens in 60 seconds, and the best part is that the buff stays with you even if you change weapons, so if you know how to hardswap, this weapon is a blessing, especially for hybrid builds like cold infusions, str-int or str-faith.
also remember that you only need to have 27 str in order to weild it and use the AoW, if you two hand it of course.

                                                                      • Anonymous

                                                                        • Anonymous

                                                                          • Anonymous

The key with this weapon is to pair it with some "budget" fire-and-forget spells/incantations (freezing mist, poison mist, swarm of flies, etc).

The AoW is just the cherry on top to keep you buffed and swinging without having to worry too much about stamina drain.

Miyazaki: that's the neat thing, you don't.

I have defeated the Leonid misbegotten and i can travel to the arena, but the weapon is nowhere to be found in my inventory or chest.

It sucks using ritual sword or shield talisman with it because you have to waste an estus for them to work if you use the ash of war.
